I don't think so. I'm a member of another board that had ********* and they had links to sites related to the board's theme.

What about our factions? Can BDE still remain on EZboard and write on TRF?

And I don't mind where we go, as long as I can write.

What about the old threads and posts??

We have not hammered that part out yet. At first, it will stay the way it is now, groups can host their board wherever, and still participate with TRF. After we get settled in we may offer hosting on the main TRF board to groups. We're still uncertain how to handle that part.

Old threads and posts from this board will be moved to the new vB board with a script the vB people will run.

This is all so exciting! I just can't wait, i hope everything goes along smoothly from here on in.

We have talked quite a bit about some stuff we'd like to see..


Personally, I would like to offer hosting for individual boards if they like (providing a template even) but it would not be anything mandatory.

I would like to offer hosting for people's personal pics as well as art .. (perhaps a gallery section for our more artistic members).

I would like to finally be able to work on a TRF timeline... so if you guys have some highlights of your factions you'd like mentioned, we can try to fit them in (using major roleplays or series as reference points). I think it was Gue that also mentioned wanting to have a group record listing each group's roleplay... sort of like a library of sorts. I wanted to do something like that as well over here ..

The ever illusive ship database... lol


Also, personally, with the move I would like a more defined separation between the game and everything else... Meaning, the core of our board will be SW roleplaying and so I would like to see anything pertaining to the game heavily moderated and censored. Especially since the game would need to be more open to a greater demographic appeal imho.

But, given our freedom of expression ideals (which is something I want to stay true too) I would like to set aside portions for just that. I know it was mentioned actually hosting Gash's vermillion board as well.. Probably a news area .... perhaps have a place newbies can hang out... a place for the veterans of a more sarcastic and cynical nature..lol ..Just not throw everything together in one jumbled mix..

Perhaps an area for other types of writing... prose, or short stories.. (but this is well into the future).


Anyway, we are still working out kinks and probably have a great many things to streamline... so we do ask that you bear with us.


We sort of got caught with our pants down but we did want to show that no one has given up on you or TRF.

For this venture I have opened a paypal account under CapriciaPrime@aol.com for any who would like to donate. If your funds are used for board purchase, they will be used for something else equally important.

I will keep track of the TRF "account balance" and if there are donations, the status of that balance will be updated for all staff regularly.

Do not worry, though. As Gash stated, we are footing the cost of getting this thing going. But, for those that would like too, your contributions would be appreciated.
