My only issue is the fact that Vonta has editted a number of posts months after posting them, and after others have posted numerous times based off those posts.
K. I've been up since 12:00 am , and I am still at work (its now 7:30 PM) I now know I won't get away until probably 10:30 at the latest.
So it'll have to wait unitl I can find the time to sit down and go through everythign.
in the meantime Vonta as I said before just break it down for me exactly what ths issues are on your side, (so I don't have to go trawling through everything unless its necessary).

Issue number two should be the reasons behind closing the thread in the first place at this point. Why have and ending to the thread is the first place? That question seems to be at the heart of the matter.
Take your time to rest seth. Better to have you look at this when you have time to actually address the issues then dead of exhuastion.
From what I read in here, having not read the thread, the basis of the arguement is that Vonta had no options to escape and take his people with him and can't hide because the planet was interned and then base delta zeroed.

First of all, discounting the fact that the previous version of the rules very clearly stated that you could not destroy planets, and even though it's been removed, it's still pretty fucking lame of you, let's consider for a second the time that would be required. Lup said...
This series of (completely rediculously over the top expensive, by the by) actions would take months, maybe years. In case you guys forgot, the old rules clearly stated that each post should more then likely cover a minute or two. I don't see a few thousand posts there, so I'm just going to assume that you rushed things. Now, if I remember correctly, when Isstal posted his "epilogue", it was deemed at the time a big pile of fucking shit. It was too much, too fast, too powerful. Isstal then said "What?", refused to change it, and eventually the staff made the ruling that Vonta was, of course, free to roleplay his own personal way out of the situation for characters of his that were on scene.
And now, TNO disputes that roleplay.
You know what? TOO FUCKING BAD. All the rediculously over the top and godmoded actions in the thread were your destruction of the planet in a single post! Since you refused to change it, the staff gave Vonta freedom to get away. I don't know what he did, since I haven't read the thread, but whatever he did, I don't really give a shit. Saying "oh btw ur planet is fuxored" is not the quality of roleplaying that TRF will allow. Vonta was given reign to get off the planet with his characters which is his right. Did he overstep his bounds? Maybe. I don't care. In my opinion he can't really do anything more stupid and illegal then what TNO has already tried to pull. So I stand behind Vonta, one hundred percent. I don't care if he's blowing up Star Destroyers with nothing but an evil glare, one hundred fucking percent.
As to the offical outcome of the thread, I say, toss up. Almania and it's moons are now vacant and free for any group to take over. Partially destroyed and all, but what the hey. The Imperials hold no claim since red tape forced them to evacuate the system half destroyed, but they can feel free to come back. If Vonta or friends want to try and take over what's left of his trashed planets, feel free.
That's my thoughts and opinion o what we should do, I'll leave it to the other staff members to chime in but personally, I think that's where we should go.
