Day 1-4: Traveled 2900 miles in order to get from Central Florida to Salt Lake City Utah. Traveled through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas (which should count as three states. Damn, from Beauport to El Paso is a damn long haul), New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Along the way we saw the Painted Desert, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest (I wonder what kind of saws they used to cut down those trees?;).) Zion National Park, and parts of the old Route 66. Saw a tornado near San Antonio Texas.

In the car show, we went through the Autocross, which I helped volunteer for, and almost got run over a few times by spin outters. Some guys were a little too agressive on those sharp turns. We went out on a scenic tour which was nice. Got to see all the hills full of trees with sharp narrow paths that in the winter time are ski paths. This covered about 6-7 days.

Finally, coming home we went through Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, then into Mississippi, and Alabama and into home sweet home. Saw the Vicksburg Civil War Park, and Pensacola Naval Air Museum on the way home. All in all a real nice vacation. Total mileage: 5800 miles.

na it didn't chase me. And not really, although let me tell you, when I first got to drive, in Mobile, some old and confused woman hit our trailer, and dented it up. Damage didn't appear to be too bad, but later in the trip, one after the other, both tires that were on that side of the trailer blew up. We were towing the car in a Dual Cab F-350, so there was plenty of room.
