"How dare you, you beast, you laugh at the dead, and openly mock me for hiring technicians that take into account that Republics that defend the lives of people accross the galaxy rarely kill innocent civilians! You knew they were en route when you raised your interdictors, my holobroadcast of help to the LFX peoples was never interupted. You unmercilessly killed civilians, mocked their deaths and openly asked me to have more ships jump into your blockade to their doom. You are a monster on par with no other, if your 'republic' wernt such as a monarchy Id wish your people for a better world, a better leader, and most of all, a person in charge who actually cares about the well being of the galaxy and not just the power of his allies"

Kamon shook his head.
"I do not mock the deaths of innocents. These people were on their way well before I got there. I also must say that I did not know they were coming. It is impossible to know where every ship in the galaxy is. I had no idea they were there. I must say that I implore you not to send any more ships in. I do not wish to see more people die.
"To you, LFX, I say this. We have been trying to rescue survivors for some time now. Every attempt we make is stopped by your ships. Yet, you do not even attempt to rescue survivors. If you will not do so, then we will force our way in.
"There are people in those hulks that are still alive. Whether you try and help them is up to you. If you do not, then we will do what it takes to save them."

OOC: You're an idiot Kamon. My ships are all nice and snug in orbit around Commenor. And the ships exploded. There are no drifting hulks, just pieces of debris no bigger than a smallish car.
A VW Bug.

"You surely knew when you put Interdiction fields around LFX Soveriegn space that ships would be entering that space. No matter which way you spin it, Prince, you killed those people, you and you are a monster."

Kamon shook his head.
"I'll say it again. We did not kill those people. Fate killed those people. It is unfortunate that the were there, and we are saddened by their deaths. If we had known that their ships were defuct we'd have let them through. Since we didn't know they were there or of their problem, we could not stop fate from taking its course."

A pirated transmission broke into the conversation.
"This is Grand Admiral Kennede of Dark Force.
Prince Kamon Vondiranach, are you really this ignorant? Or, perhaps, this is a show for some tactical advantage. Either way you are bringing down the weight of galactic hatred upon yourself. I, for one, am appalled by your stance on this matter. So appalled, infact, that I may choose to enter this little skirmish of yours, when the time is right for me to do so."
The transmission ended, though his threat would likely be taken as empty since none yet realized who he was or what the 'Dark Force' consisted of.

"Fate is a daft word, Kamon. An evasion. Fate did not kill anyone - you killed those people.
"You are a murderer, short and simple."

Kamon shook his head.
"That is wrong and you know it. If I was a murderer I wouldn't have pulled them from hyperspace, i would have attacked you then destroyed those ships. Yes, it is partially my fault. That being because it was my ships that pulled them out. However, it was also partially IDT's fault for building faulty ships. I do not deny that I had something to do with it and IDT should not deny it either."

A spinning galaxy logo flashed on the screen with the text that read Universal News Agency.
"Dear Prince of tholatin, let me get straight to the point that you are so clearly missing . . .if you had not blockaded this system, these people would not be dead. You have the deaths of men, woman and families on your head now . . .how do you sleep at night?
I also find your grasp of basic technological understanding to be quite appauling. IDT did not build, sub-standard vessels . . .ships that are the size that you so utterly destroyed, are not capable of making such a forced reversion from Lightspeed, thier hyperdrive motivators simply cannot take the shock and thusly overload.
Another thing, you don't always have to shoot a laser to kill something . . . artificial gravity wells are a weapon and are intended to be used as such, you are murderer, don't disgrace those lives that have been lost by humiliating yourself further."

Press Release,
Distributed to several prominent news agencies to read at their own disgression
I find it interesting that the ones accusing Vondiranch of murder and demanding that he "honor the lives lost" are the ones who spit on the graves of the dead by using this tragedy to force a political agenda.
An accident occured. People died. This is not the first time this has happened (certainly not during military opperations), but it is the first time so many organizations have immediately lept on the issue and politicized it.
If you cared a whit about the dead, you wouldn't soil their memories by using their grizzly fate as your vehicle to greater power.
I don't expect any of the groups involved in this to immediately cease their verbal and military hostilities. But, let's be perfectly honest and forthcoming, here; not one of you actually gives a damn about any of the dead. Veiled intentions are typically fairly transparent, and only make all involved parties look the worse for it.
Not to mention the disrespect to the dead men and women who have become that veil.

Bravo, Mr. Jiren.
You successfully degrade the deaths that your friend caused in order to draw blame away from your friend and attempt to belittle the incident.
Bravo, indeed.
