Earlier today the Diversity Alliance, whose mission was to unite aliens from around the galaxy, met an untimely end while attempting to hold peace talks between two long time rivals.

The Trandoshans and Wookiees, as many know, have had bad blood between each other for many years, starting with events that occured before the Empire first came to power. The hatred between these two races is great and some would say it would be impossible for them to settle their differences.

The Diversity Alliance was willing to try, but apparently failed when the fleets of the two opposing sides arrived at the location of their Ambassador ship and started firing at one another. Sadly, the Ambassador ship and most of it’s escort ships were destroyed in the crossfire. Their leader, Cortex Sinar, is presumed dead.

Will the Diversity Alliance be able to regroup from this loss? It is too soon to tell…

In related news, there are rumors from Trandosha that the ruling Council as ejected one of their Elders from her seat. It is rumored that Counselor Naosha was expelled for spouting blasphemy, namely suggesting they abandon the hunter’s ways. As we all know, Trandoshans all love the hunt: the Wookiees would attest to that.
