<div style="font-size:24px; font-weight:bold;">New System Defense Viable</div>
<div style="text-align:justify; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:90%;">The latest project of the Anthos Republic, an intricate defense system dubbed the "Hypervelocity Gun" has been proven a success.
In a public demonstration over the planet of Clak'dor, the Hypervelocity system displayed its power, and accuracy. A decommissioned Belarus-class Cruiser, stripped of armament, yet still sporting full shielding capabilities, was destroyed in a spectacular fashion. Unlike the standard, not to mention expensive, planetary laser defenses popular on prosperous worlds, the Hypervelocity Gun attacks the hull of a ship, not its ray shielding. While the exact numbers are not available to the public, we can assume the power of the system is incredible.
Full tapes of the demonstration will be available to all who wish to view them, see our holo-site for further details. Another test run will be performed sometime in the future, the date is at yet unset.</div>
