New Order liberates former GC world
Abregado-rae rejoices as the Empire comes home at last

Following previous INS reports of uprisings on the Coalition-held world of Abregado-rae, the New Order has stepped forward with a bold announcement: the forces of the Imperial Navy and the Imperial Army, respectively, have liberated the world from the iron fist of the Galactic Coalition.

The victory comes in the wake of massive anti-Coalition rallies that resulted in the deaths of fourteen GC army units and the storming of the government buildings in the world's capital.

The Imperial fleet, commanded by one Captain Raine (no first name was given), entered the system late yesterday as further reports came that the citizens of Abregado-rae had declared the world neutral, and were seeking aide to drive the Coalition from their planet.

Coalition fleet elements were defeated in battle above Abregado-rae, with much loss to the GC that Admiral Bhindi Drayson, Moff of the Ubiqtorate Expansion Regions and Captain Raine's Commander-in-Chief, said was "an unfortunancy of war." Drayson also said that, "Abregado-rae made its decision, and the governors of the GC could not accept it. They fought their own people to keep the world under their control."

She went on to say that the Imperial soldiers who fought at Abregado-rae should be commended for their efforts, and that this battle is only another clear sign of the Empire's right to rule. "The planet clearly wanted to join with the Empire," said Commander Deusvult Godridge, Military Aide to Drayson, "and this act shows both how far the GC will go to keep their worlds, and that the Empire is indeed right in their liberation."

Abregado-rae officially joined the New Order this morning, following the siezure of the military command center.

The Galactic Coalition was aware of some of the citizens' wishes to become neutral, but we were waiting for a vote to be complete. The Galactic Coalition soldiers never killed anyone, and only defended themselves, when the protestors turned violent. We only used stun beams and then immediatly delivered the stuned rioters to the hospital. We were also preparing to leave when the Imperial forces bombarded the planet from orbit, destroying our shuttles that we were going to leave in and killing mroe citizens. In fact, in the vote that we held, the majority of the citizens wanted to be neutral, not aligned with the New Order or the Galactic Coalition. I wonder how long it will be before the Empire starts to stop demonstrations with force. The Galactic Coalition did not stop the peaceful demonstrations held on Abregado-rae, we only stopped the demonstrations that were held at our garrisons that envolved the rioters killing our soldiers. The Galactic Coalition sends it's regrets to the families of those dead, and has one thing to say to the citizens.

We saved you once from a tryannical government, and are preapred to do so again. You know how to contact us.

How can you trust a galactic power which has not the time to edit and review its press releases before publication? In an effort to make those in charge of the factions future look less incompotent, we, the Peoples Media, have edited, revised and re-released todays brief in the hopes of over-writing the rampant errors in type.

The Galactic Coalition was aware of the desire by some of the citizens' in wishing to remain neutral, but we were unable to complete a vote on the matter. The Galactic Coalition soldiers did not kill anyone(q?), and only defended themselves, when the protesters turned violent. We only used stun beams and then immediately delivered the stunned rioters to the hospital. We were also preparing to leave when the Imperial forces bombarded the planet from orbit, destroying our shuttles, our only means of escape, killing more citizens. In fact, in the vote that we held, the majority of the citizens wished to remain neutral, not aligned with the New Order or the Galactic Coalition. I wonder how long it will be before the Empire starts to stop (q?)demonstrations with force. The Galactic Coalition did not stop the peaceful demonstrations held on Abregado-rae, we only stopped the demonstrations that were held at our garrisons that involved the rioters killing our soldiers. The Galactic Coalition sends it's regrets to the families of those dead, and has one thing to say to the citizens.

OOC: Beff, don't be an ass, those are just typing mistakes. If yoou have nothing better to do with your time then reading what everyone writes and then making small typing corrections, then obviously you need a life.

OOC: I wasn't saying it wasn't legal, I was saying that it was stupid, and not needed, because if I felt like it, I could simply edit, thereby screwing over your whole post, and making you look like an idiot ICly. How is this needed? The only thing your post did was start me insulting you.

Jan: Shut up. This is not the forum to air your dirty laundry. It was a real press release, from the mentioned media source, and completely In Character.
If you were that concerned, you would have edited it before posting, as it is, the damage has been done, and those who have seen it, have seen it.
Stop whining like a child who has had his toy taken away from him. Considering your OOC comments, the manner in which you mention..
I could simply edit, thereby screwing over your whole post, and making you look like an idiot ICly.

... makes you sound rather like you plan to Godmode, no?
