An official inquiry was sent from the man who made the order for the CEC Gunships to Makki Industries. The inquiry stated:
"The Governer of the sector was well pleased with the quality and rate of construction by Makki Industries. He would inquire if Makki Corporation would be interested in another contract. Ten Modified Corellian Corvettes, that is model number CR-90a, to be built. The governer has told me that if the same quality and speed of construction with the last batch was repeated with this batch, that he would pay 50% again the total cost of the construction."

(OOC: Brutus, just so you know, if you don't have a fleeting group supporting you [and thus taking the meterage] you cannot take the ships.)

Makki Construction Industries Shutdown by Anthos Government
Serious breech of contract forces Anthos Government to terminate lease agreement.
In a press conference today representatives from the Anthos Military Construction division detailed exactly what had happened in a raid earlier today upon the offices of newly formed Makki Construction.
"We were alerted by an employee of Makki that the company was not doing background checks, or requiring official Imperial identification numbers for clients," said the Military representative.
A memo relesed hours before the press conferences explained that the lease contract with Makki required that all ships sold would have to be shipped without weapon emplacements and military grade hyperdrives. Any craft sold with these items installed could only be shipped to someone who had provided an Imperial ID number. Says the memo, "Requiring an Imperial ID number aids us in keeping unauthorized weapons systems out of the hands of shady organizations and non-legitimate governments."
Seized in the raid today were hundreds of records for raw material purchases, several billion credits and two Golan II space stations, which had completed construction just this week. Pending order papers were found, all missing an ID code, and all containing requirements for weapons and military grade hyperdrives.
"We're saddened that this effort did not succeeded," said the memo released today. "Had Makki kept their end of the bargain everyone could have profited from this venture." During the press conference the question was raised asking if the government attempt another lease. The response was that there were, "Several options on the table, we would like to work with private corporations in similar efforts. However, government policing and review will be much stricter next time."
(ooc: sorry guys, but it was just too time consuming to update this. Took several hours to get everything straight when I started, and the prospect of doing that over and over was too much.)
