IMPERIAL CENTER: In a public announcement this afternoon, top officials of the New Order revealed detailed plans for the future of the Empire. The announcement was made in the midst of a war with the Galactic Coalition, an indicator (to some) that the New Order is focusing on more than simply deafeating their enemies at their borders.
Several members of the Imperial Ruling Council were present at the time of the announcement, giving their full support to the cause and making it known to all citizens of the Empire that this is a decision that will benefit everyone.
Asked about the reasons for the shift in policy, Drev Sarr said that "the Empire is more than just an army and a navy. The Empire is a home for all people of the galaxy. They give so much to us, it is time we give something more back."
According to top officials within the Empire, the New Order has begun a five-step plan to impliment full public health care systems to all registered members of Imperial worlds, human or alien, over the next six standard months.
"Under this new program," a spokesman said, "no one will be left behind. All our citizens will have access to standard health care, and need not worry about paying their hospital bills any longer."
Formerly, such coverage applied only to officers of the Imperial Fleet and Army. The Empire is expected to reveal several other new plans over the next several weeks.
