Earlier this morning, RST, IDT released a statement to the Galactic Press Network. A statement regarding current IDT operations in and around the Tholatin system. According to Official reports, IDT plans to terraform the planet in a slow process, spanning the next few years, to reintroduce native animal and plant species into the Tholatin Enviro. Craterous sections of the planet will be formed into lakes, and the Tholatin cities will all be rebuilt, with IDT funding of course. The Tholatin economy will also be rebuffed with IDT shops, sector divisions and manufacturing plants. A series of underground tunnels are also being dug out, at a depth of about 1.5Km deep. These tunnels will, when finished connect to IDT Gree portals that will connect Tholatin to Reecee.
IDT Terraforming Efforts (Tholatin)
In a dual announcement, it has been confirmed by higher IDT echelons that the planets Rineeki of the Tholatin Republic and Karnak Alpha of IDTech itself will be recieving equivelant terraforming projects, to a lesser extent that is as these planets are already better of than Tholatin itself. The same tunneling network devised for Tholatin to Reece will also be expanded to form a nexus to each planet as more Gree Portals will be placed within each planet. So far all goes well, we shall keep you updated...

Yes, and while the cameras are on the jolly IDTech corporate army planting trees in Tholatin fields, IDTech will be building industrial parks to belch toxic pollutants in the air enough to transform the world into a carbon copy of one of the Corporate Sector Authority's environmentally-raped worlds, no doubt.
A clever way to disguise a corporate scam as a noble gesture of environmental conscience. Even if the terraforming is genuine, all this comes at the price of the Tholatin Republic becoming a financial whore of IDTech, which -- given that corporation's obvious meglomaniacal tendencies -- will only bring ruin to them, anyway.

Don't forget the reparations payments we are demanding from TTR. The Tholatins shall also be part-time whores to the Empire.
No, they will not. IDT is the one that has to pay for their misgivings, and as our good friends in TNO seem to have forgoten our involvement in the war itself on their behalf, we will be paying them in whatever we would have gotten if we had been paid for our own war efforts.
The need to see Tholatin brought to justice for having aligned itself with the Death Star and stabbed us in the back at Fondor frankly outweighs our desire to have IDTech profit another 10% from the planet. While we are very generous to those who would potentially do us a good turn, (as IDTech's existance declares) our desire to see Tholatin rehabilitated so that they aren't able to blindly follow a mass murderer and betray us again is absolutely paramount.
For one thing, if youve stoped by Tholatin any time soon, you'd see that steps have been made to assure that Tholatin never again falls out of IDTech control. Various systems have been inplaced in the government and shipbuilding, there will be no second chances. As for Tholatin pay, take those responsable for the attrocities against TNO, punish those in a way you would see fit, but theres no reason to make an ally suffer due to your need for revenge.
You are in no position to dictate to the Empire. We shall do what needs to be done on Tholatin to ensure that they pose no further threat. Had the Tholatin Republic been an ally of the Empire, they certainly wouldn't have stabbed us in the back at Fondor. Rather, they are enemies that were defeated by GDI, TNO and IDTech.
If this means that we feel that the Tholatin people need to pay reparations in order to realize that what they did was wrong, then that will be done. We aren't going to forget their treachery simply because they were defeated.

Might I also add, youve never put a credit value on those debits. Tholatin was IDT's sole benifit of helping TNO, and if to harm us with that benifit is your idea of rewarding good service then so be it, but dont expect such military help from IDT in the future.
Regardless of what you say, an entire planet is hardly a sole benefit, especially to an organization that only has 1 to begin with. You act like you deserve to be given a baker's dozen planets for the extroardinary task that was piloting a fleet made up of 60% TNO ships, 40% IDTech ships towards a planet with only 30 ships to her name.
