The well-known Imperial logo appears, rotating slowly on a black screen. Superimposed over the ensign is the raised tail of a scorpion within a red triangle. The logo takes centre screen, and silver letters fade in.
A Special Report from the Holy Demosthesian Empire
The words slowly fade, to be replaced by a dark room, obviously one aboard some kind of warship. A figure dressed in pure black garments is visible, standing behind a podium in front of the wall. Her eyes bore into the holocam, a most unsettling feeling for viewers. When she begins to speak, her voice is calm, but somehow hard, a fine mix between welcoming and hate-filled.
There are a few words in this galaxy that spark a terror among the general populance, a flame of hatred and desire for revenge.
Most of these words are a part of the general vocabularly of His "Royal Highness", the self-proclaimed Empeor of the Jutraalian Empire, Chadd Fearsons. Chadd Fearsons is the being who resurrected the most fearsome weapon known to our galaxy: the Death Star battlestation.
It is only thanks to the efforts of the New Order and the now-defunct New Republic that we are not all living under the tyrannic rule of Fearsons' brutal Empire.
The unrelenting forces of Fearsons' evil regime have turned against their friends and allies on coutnless occasions, betraying those that had (foolishly) sworn to defend and aide that Empire. There are few, if any, left in our galaxy who have not felt the sting of Chaddwick's betrayal.
The Holy Demosthesian Empire has, for these reasons and others, declared Chadwick Fearsons an enemy of the state. He is less than a person... Chaddwick Fearsons is a non-person, and as such has no rights under Holy Imperial law.
She pauses for a moment, frowning slightly.
Chaddwick Fearsons, this non-person, is an evil, dispicable, tyrant of a dictator. His recent invasion of Jutraal - properly called New Alderaan, but renamed at the whim of this ...creature... stands against Intergalactic law.
For these reasons the Holy Demosthesian Empire does order and suggest that Chaddwick Fearsons, and his lacky Prince Kamon Vondiranch of Tholatin, surrender themsleves immediatly to authorities of the Holy Empire and destroy their machines of war. The Holy Empire does not wish to see weapons such as these in the hands of non-people like Chadd Fearsons.
She pauses again, eyes locked on the holocam.
I have a daughter. She is twelve years old. She will be thirteen in one week's time. If Chaddwick Fearsons and Kamon Vondiranch are not in Holy Imperial jails when I blow out the candles on my daughter's birthday cake, the Holy Demosthesian Empire will destroy the Jutraalian Empire.
We will slaughter every soldier, destroy every ship, and liberate every world from the tyrant Fearsons. This is the vow of the Holy Demosthesian Empire.
The screen goes black.

<hr><font size="4">Press Release:</font>
The Ossan Parliament, while acknowledging Chadwick Fearson's crimes against society, does not support this 'Holy' Demosthesian Empire's attempts to bring him to their particular version of justice.
To be quite frank, Chadd Fearsons has shown himself to be in favor of the wellbeing of the galactic community, after helping to defeat the insidious forces of the Sovereign Chiss Empire at Mon Calamari. It should be noted that this "Holy Demosthesian Empire" makes these threats with absolutely no galactic authority or weight; they are an unknown quantity, and so, their claims of being some sort of intergalactic police force can only be assumed to be invalid.
There are more terrible menaces in the galaxy to face down than Chadd Fearsons. A war against him would be more damaging to the structure of the galaxy than would his continued existence (given his current agenda), and, as such, such a thing would be futile and pointless.
It is also disturbing to the Ossan Parliament to view the use of the term "non-person" in official press releases. It has been the experience of the Ossan Parliament that governments which pick and choose those who may receive the rights granted to a sentient being are often nothing more than tyrannical slaughterhouses.
Furthermore, it would seem that this "Empire" is religiously motivated, some sort of theocracy. While the Ossan Parliament has long governed Ossan space with the assistence of the religious group the Rogue Jedi Order, it has always acknowledged the seperation between religion and state, while, by implication, this HDE does not.
These developments are deeply troubling, and the fact that Prince Kamon Vondiranch, an honorary citizen of Ossus, and his Tholatin Republic, longtime allies of the Ossan people, have been threatened by this rogue state is only more frightening to us.
As such, by a motion passed today by the Ossan Parliament, labeled the Protective Designation Act (X116-B), and signed by the Sovereign-Elect Searthen Jiren, Ossus is now authorized to lend full military and monetary assistance to the Tholatin Republic and Jutraalian Empire in the event of a declaration of war by the Holy Demosthesian Empire. In this event, it will constitute a full declaration of war by the Ossan Parliament, with all that includes, and will be set into effect automatically in the event of such a declaration.
-Ossan Parliament
Ossus<hr>
Earlier today, these comments were heard from Sovereign-Elect Gash Jiren at a press conference: It somehow doesn't suprise me that this... person blows out the candles on her daughter's birthday cake. This entire thing seems utterly self-absorbed and ignorant of the actual state of affairs in the galaxy. Anyone who believes that some sort of holy war against Chadd Fearsons will bring any more peace than we've already got is either a lunatic or a power monger. Unfortunately, I'm afraid we've got both on our hands.
Jiren was reprimanded for his comments by the Ossan Parliament, though the government group did not comment on the validity or falsity of his claims.
OOC: That's bullshit, Isstal. As if a group that big could change identity without ANYONE knowing. But I'll go along with it.

<font size=+2>Jutraalian Military Press Release
</font>
"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man, or a woman's character, give him or her power. Any excuse will serve a tyrant. The so-called
Holy emosthesian Empire has without reason or question decided that a man, and his followers deserve to die. The Emperor of the Jutraalian Empire, Chadd Fearsons has been deemed an evil, dispicable tyrant. It troubles me to think that anyh foreign nation would lash out with such allegations. I reject violence, because the good that it appears to produce does not last long; in contrast the badness that it produces is long-lasting.
"As Lord Admiral of the Jutraalian Navy, I will be the first to admit that we haev had a troubled past.... a past that resulted in the resurrection of a devious, and relativly dangerous superweapon. A weapon with a destructive fource powerful enough to kill hundreds of millions of people with one swift blow. Yet, we must bere in mind that the weapon was never used. Even during it's final hour, it remained harmless, a mere experiment.
"But to declare that any one individual or race is a
non-person deeply troubles me. The word itself is full of anger, and of rage... nothing short of tyranny in the eyes of those that continue to attempt to keep the peace.
"Your unheathy, and morally irresponsable reguards toward the Emperor of Jutraal remain, for lack of a better word, disreguarded. The Jutraalian Empire will not disband it's only means of defense against tyrannical governments that claim Holy Trinity, and demand the lives of hundreds of thousands in reprisal for lack of cooperation.
"I am further troubled by the threats against the innocent people that choose to dwell within the borders of our governing body. I would like to take this opportunity to directly quote the threats made by this apparently
Holy Empire.... 'We will slaughter every soldier, destroy every ship, and liberate every world from the tyrant Fearsons. This is the vow of the Holy Demosthesian Empire.'
"Slaughter every soldier? Destroy every ship, and liberate every world? This is indeed troubling, and undeserving of a personal grudge against one man. Our people have suffered endlessly in the countless wars of the Galaxy, some of them admittedly out fault. The Jutraalian Empire, and it's Navy look forward to quieter days.... days of peace, and prosperity. But make no mistake, if your threats are carried out, I will do all that is in my power to defend my people, and the honor of the Jutraalian Empire."
<font size=-2>(General OOC Note: Xilen Darkflame [as named above] is not the same person as Xilen the Shape Shifter. They are two seperate characters. Thank you.)</font>

The Parliment would therefor support a murderer, traitor, and despotic dictator responsible for millions of deaths during his war with the New Order and the ressurection of the Death Star?
The Parliment would gladly see a man whom they admit is a criminal walk free and continue to destroy, murder, betray, and resurrect superweapons?
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">To be quite frank, Chadd Fearsons has shown himself to be in favor of the wellbeing of the galactic community, after helping to defeat the insidious forces of the Sovereign Chiss Empire at Mon Calamari.</blockquote>
I'm afraid, despite the help given by the Jutraalian Empire at Mon Calamari, the crimes comitted by Emperor Fearsons vastly outweigh the good he has done.
Would the Ossan Parliment have let Grand Moff Tarkin walk free after he destroyed Alderaan with his Death Star? Would they have supported Emperor Palpatine, had he begun to support the Rebellion, despite the tens of billions, perhaps even hundreds of billions of deaths brought about his Empire?
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">There are more terrible menaces in the galaxy to face down than Chadd Fearsons. I see no greater threat to this galaxy than the continued life of the man who recreated the Death Star. Regent Daemon Hyfe is seen as a Saint when placed next to Emperor Chaddwick Fearsons!
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">It is also disturbing to the Ossan Parliament to view the use of the term "non-person" in official press releases. The people that the Jutraalian Empire sent to their deaths at Hoth, Averam, Yaga Minor, and a dozen or more others, were sentient beings. Chadd Fearsons rebuilt superweapons, fully knowing that such an action would incite the entire galaxy against him and kill millions. And it did!
A man who sees sentient beings as canon fodder in his quest for Galactic Domination does not deserve the rights he refuses to others.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">Furthermore, it would seem that this "Empire" is religiously motivated, some sort of theocracy. The religious justification behind an assault on the Jutraalian Empire should be obvious, even to those that are narrow minded. Chadd Fearsons is a murderer, a traitor, a despotic dictator, and a man who cares nothing for the deaths of others. The Holy Demosthesian Empire sees it as their Divine right to destroy men who behave in such a way.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">These developments are deeply troubling, and the fact that Prince Kamon Vondiranch, an honorary citizen of Ossus, and his Tholatin Republic, longtime allies of the Ossan people, have been threatened by this rogue state is only more frightening to us.</blockquote>
The Tholatin Republic has been seen to provide military support to the Jutraalian Empire in the past and in the present day. It was TTR that launched the attack on Fondor, the one that triggered the Imperial assaults that desecrated then-Rogue Imperial worlds. More blood on the hands of Chaddwick Fearsons, and on those of Kamon Vondiranch, for being Chadd's puppet.
I think that perhaps the views of Gash Jiren are clouding his judgement in the matter of the Jutraalian and Tholatin Empires, and that he is conveying this to the Parliment with his Force powers.
It cannot be above a man who was once a Sith Lord and nearly destroyed Theed, Naboo, to corrupt the Parliment.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">As such, by a motion passed today by the Ossan Parliament, labeled the Protective Designation Act (X116-B), and signed by the Sovereign-Elect Searthen Jiren, Ossus is now authorized to lend full military and monetary assistance to the Tholatin Republic and Jutraalian Empire in the event of a declaration of war by the Holy Demosthesian Empire. The Holy Demosthesian Empire holds no ill with the Ossan Parliment of the Rogue Jedi Order. However, we will defend ourselves as neccessary from those forces should they choose to support the non-person Chaddwick Fearsons.

From Jutraal
While the current issues on Jutraal have kept his majesty at bay, Emperor Fearsons wishes this important statement be posted:
Any war criminals shall be prosecuted and tried with the greatest prejudice. Women, children, prisoners of war, these are not legitimante targets of conquest. If any of these are harmed those harming them and the leaders of those harming them shall be tried and executed without question.
Biological weapons cannot and will not be used against the Jutraalian Empire. If such agents are used those using them and their commanders shall be tried and executed without question.
Torture will not be a valid method of interrogation, nor a means of punishment. Those who induce torture shall be prosecuted and executed without question.
Any prisoners of war shall be treated as Jutraalian Citizens and shall receive all the rights thereof. After short interrogations - involving "truth syrome", feeding, and quarters to sleep - they shall be allowed to have loose and guarded walks amongst Jutraalian lands.
Any refugees who come shall receive specuial quarter within the Jutraalian Palace.
War Crimes will not be tolerated by this terrorist regime.

A familiar crest of a long forgoten galactic company forms against the backdrop of the holonet. The familiar tones of the IDTech insignia, instantly rememberable to all that cross the pleasure domes of the galaxy.
Slowly the crest fades, showing the form of the CEO of IDTech, Heir Raktus, behind his cerimonial desk, from which all his live broadcasts are made.
"You know, im not suprised by the Ossan Parliaments offical release given a few days ago. Its quite well known, the great persuers of peace are quite non-violent in nature. This leads to great contridictions in terms when it comes down to what needs to be done and what is said.
Chadd Fearsons has indeed shown himself to be in favor of the galactic community, which in fact is just a well placed facade to cover his more insidious operation within his empire. Perhaps we all have already forgotten the horrors of Hoth? Maybe we all dont remember the thousands of citizens of his own empire that vanish on a daily basis for openly speaking their mind of the government.
While I myself hold personal feelings against both of these so called 'Empires' I will justly stand behind the one that does not equivically demote violence on its own people and the propagation of weapons of mass destruction on the scale of which that Chadd Fearsons Empire does
It is hereby the position of IDTech and all its subsidiaries to back the forces of HDE economicaly and give its peoples and military forces full support with humanitarian aids"

You reject violence, yet you are a part of the Jutraalian Navy? A man who preaches peace, but dispatches warships to engage in conflict, to kill and destroy and lay waste? You are a commander of warships, Admiral. Do not claim to me you are a supporter of peace and non-violence.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">"As Lord Admiral of the Jutraalian Navy, I will be the first to admit that we haev had a troubled past.... a past that resulted in the resurrection of a devious, and relativly dangerous superweapon. A harmless experiment? The Death Star carried a crew of nearly one and a half million people. Those people were aboard the Death Star at Hoth when it was destroyed - whether or not Emperor Fearsons ordered it destroyed and sacraficed those lives is unknown, but not unlikely. And the mere fact that such a weapon was built again is more than enough justification to remove him from power.
The mere fact that Fearsons never had time to use his superweapon before it was destroyed, or sacraficed, is moot. The station was designed to kill, and Fearsons rebuilt it. Once a tyrant, always a tyrant.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">"But to declare that any one individual or race is a non-person deeply troubles me. A man who ignores the rights of others does not deserve those rights. A man who sees himself as above the commenors, who builds massive superweapons, who slaughters millions in his quest for power, does not deserve to be treated like a person. Chadd Fearsons is no better than an animal.[/i]

We do not ask for the lives of hundreds of thousands, but for the men who lead them to do their deeds of evil. It is expected that Chadd Fearsons will refuse to surrender - he is obsessed with power and will let go of it only when it it pried from his cold, dead hands.
We give Chaddwick the chance, now, to prove to the galaxy that he is here for the greater good. Surely the greater good is worth the life of one man? Surely the peace he claims to strive to mantain is worth his life? If a man will not give his life to serve his cause, one must wonder if he truly serves that cause at all.[/i]

How else are we to guarantee that Fearsons does not simply pretend to surrender, as he has done so before? There must be some measures taken to ensure that Fearsons cannot simply betray the galaxy once more.
<blockquote style="padding-left:0.5em; margin-left:0; margin-right:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; border-left:solid 2">"Slaughter every soldier? Destroy every ship, and liberate every world? Many of those wars your fault, and the most destructive, surely your fault. The only way to ensure that Chadd Fearsons does not disturb our peace again is to remove Chadd Fearsons. The logic is easy, and a six year old should be able to understand it.
This is not a personal grudge against Chadd Fearsons - this is a measure taken to ensure that Chadd Fearsons does not destroy the galaxy as he has so nearly done before in his bloodlust.

What a surprise that, when righteous response to Chadd's years of murder, oppression, and tyranny comes to call, the Emperor is nowhere to be seen.
Chaddwick Fearsons has stated his demands of what is not to happen when war breaks out - I see he has already decided not to serve the greater good and simply give himself up.
When the war came to Rogue Imperial Space during the Operation: Tears of the Behemoth, Fearsons retreated from public view, claiming a false assassination attempt and hiding behind a layer of personelle whom have since abandoned the Jutraalian Empire.
Am I the only one that has noticed that the Jutraalians have the highest turnover rate for fleet officers of all the factions in our galaxy? Admiral Blackblade, Admiral Ven, the Viscount del Forza... all left Chaddwick's side when the true extend of his traitorism became apparent.
My father worked beside Admiral Zen for a time planning the defence of the Hapan Consortium from Jutraalian Forces. The Admiral released many secrets that showed the true evils issued on a daily basis from Jutraal.
The Holy Demosthesian Empire would like to thank IDTech for their support, and acknowledge that they are correct in all that they say. Agents on Jutraal and other worlds have reported atrocities that rival those of Palpatine on Jutraalian-held worlds.
If Chaddwick Fearsons will not abate, we will remove this evil non-person by force.

From Jutraal
It should be noted that the Jutraalian Empire shall not degrade into a Propaganda fight. It is obvious that the Domesthian Empire is not confident in its position against his majesty's forces.
Evidence?
The Domesthian Empire seems to think it must justify itself over the HoloNet News services. They will not act on anything, they must convince themselves they are doing the right thing.
Emperor Fearsons has indicated that if they wish to continue wasting thousands of credits on pointless jabberings trying to justify their own terrorism then they may, but do not bug the Jutraalian Empire any further.
It is currently attempting to salvage what the Galactic Defense Initiative has turned into a hostile galaxy.
