<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Holo-net comes on, and Mark Malloy stands, in front of a Dellalt crowd, and speaks.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"As many of you know, Rusty Metropolis and Ade-Ay Visic have been in Da Soocha territory, adding the small planet to Alliance control. They encountered some opposition, as we've learned from the Dreenan Queen. Pirates of some sort, believed to be employed by the Hutts. A battle ensued, and in true Jedi style, Metropolis fought, protection of the Queen top on his priority list. Shortly after, he and Ade-Ay boarded <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Defender<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, Metropolis' personal transport, and were en route back here, to Dellalt, to NRA HQ. When they didn't arrive, we became worried, and sent a team to search. The only thing recovered was a piece of scrap metal. Metallurgy and analysis has determined the piece to be part of <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Defender<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. The conclusion we've come to, is as follows:

Somewhere between Da Soocha and Tholatin, Metropolis and Visic ran into opposition, quite possibly a band of the pirates that they had let go. After a fierce battle, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Defender<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> attempted to limp it's way back to Dellalt. She was an old ship, and was prone to engine and hyperdrive failure. Somewhere, the engines died, and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Defender<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was destroyed. We are working now to determine the identity of the attackers, but, if they are indeed pirates, it's not much use."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The man sighed hard, trembling slightly<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.

"Metropolis...and Visic...are dead. Condolences go out to the friends of Metropolis and Visic...Gash Jiren, Han Skywalker, Tec Fireheart, Queen Malyndar, of Dreena...and myself. Metropolis was a noble man. He never let his brashness or concern for himself come in the way of his Jedi duties. Protection has always been his top priority. He always blamed himself for the death of his love, Megan Kalinsky, killed years ago by the Sith that murdered his family. He never forgave himself for leaving her on Coruscant, for going to train in the Jedi arts. I only hope now, that he has found some peace. I have orders, as ex-governor of Dellalt, to run the New Rebel Alliance. But, having lost Metropolis and Visic, I just don't see the point. It is, in the best interest of the people of Dellalt, the pilots, everyone, that the Alliance be disbanded. I hope that someone else, will continue in Rusty's goal to rid the galaxy of war and suffering. There is no doubt in my mind that he went down fighting. Lets not have it be in vain."
