At the behest of Regrad, who could not go himself due to election work, an Azguard envoy by the name of Yolem has sent a message to the Empire, pleading with them to allow the Azguards to visit on a diplomatic mission, to discuss the potential of a cessation of hostilities with their friend and ally The Outer Rim Soverinty.

"History will never look favourably on the whole galacitc war." said Yolem to members of the press "I mean, I don't know how many times I've just gawped at the reason. If I ever meet that cameraman from Kamino I'm going to wring his filthy..."

...

"Um.. Yes.. No one will ever look favourably on the war, and sadly the reason is no longer important to the Empire, what is more important is their anger at the Outer Rim Soverinty for its' behaviour during the early stage of the war.

"I can speak for my people when I say we are more then eager to end the conflict. We are even prepared to bear, wholly or in part, any reimbursmants you seek from The Outer Rim Soverinty. Note that this promise may be compromised if another leader came to power on Azguard.

"If nothing else, we wish this diplomatic mission to be granted just so that the Empire may hear our pleas and that they may learn of our position on this issue. Thank you."

From the Office of Marth Meer

"I sincerely wish the Asguardian delegation the utmost sucess. It is quite disappointing in my opinion that the Empire has so far refused the Sovereignty's attempts to gain peace. I hope that the presence of a third party will help change the minds of the Empire's Dictators."

Outside the Governor of Corellia's Residence.

News cameras are seen in the picture hustling towards the steps of the sprawling Governors mansion as its large oaken double doors begin to open.

Moments later dozens of questions flurry from the mass of cameras directed at one of the men who emerges.

"Governor Darksword, any comment on the Azguardian request for a diplomatic envoy?"

"What is your response to this peace offering?"

"Do you know how the Regent has reacted?"

Many more questions were asked, but all could be summed up in those 3 small statements. Stopping regally before the crowd Darksword smiles, perfect teeth on perfect lips, his litter stopping behind him.

"I have no comment from anyone other than myself as a private individual at this time."

His smile grew wider.

"But on that note i must say that in my opinion the entire riches of the Azguard people can only just account for the harsh slaughter that Sovereignty troops engaged in on Bespin.

Then we must of course think of the fact that exactly the same event occured on Taloraan.

So unless this envoy brings the long expected surrender of Sovereignty forces I could not, with those massacres in mind, honourably accept any such 'negotiations'."

He smiled wider still, his face and body langauge projecting total pride and confidence in both his and the Empires abilities, before stepping through the crowd towards a waiting car. Governor Darksword ignored all further questions.

Sovereignty Surrender Proclaimed!
Azguard Envoy to Coruscant offers Sovereignty's Surrender

Dozens of reports have flowed across the holonet today revealing that due to intergalactic pressure and general outcry over the Outer-Rim Sovereignty's conduct of the war with the Empire the Sovereignty has sent Azguard envoys to Coruscant to discus surrender.

Imperial High Command and the Offices of the Regent have yet to comment, although it is assumed that information will be released within the day.

OOC: Yes I did. It looks like you're sayin we're coming on behalf of ORS to surrender, which is innacurate.

We are in fact a third party.

OOC:

OK, the subtext of my words will be inserted in brackets after the event.

"I have no comment from anyone other than myself as a private individual at this time."

(Meaning this statement is not representative of the Empire, rather of my personal feelings on the issue.)

His smile grew wider.

"But on that note i must say that in my opinion the entire riches of the Azguard people can only just account for the harsh slaughter that Sovereignty troops engaged in on Bespin.

Then we must of course think of the fact that exactly the same event occured on Taloraan.

(This should suggest to you that you simply cannot attempt to buy your way out of the consequinces of your actions. You are intergalactic terrorists after all.)

So unless this envoy brings the long expected surrender of Sovereignty forces I could not, with those massacres in mind, honourably accept any such 'negotiations'."

(Meaning unless you come bearing the unconditional surrender of the Outer Rim Sovereignty, don't come at all.)

Understand where i'm going?
