Becoming Known to the Galaxy

The symbol of the Farquak Empire, a bright red triangle with TFE in black lettering on the inside and the whole triangle outlined in black, flashed onto the Holonet.

"Gentlebeings of the galaxy, today, I Emperor Crinium, Leader of the Farquak Empire, have come before you, to tell you a tale. You may be asking, who is Emperor Crinium? Or, what kind of creature is that? Or, what is the Farquak Empire? I have the answers for you. I am a Cren, an alien species from the edge of the galaxy, and we are known to the Chiss, and Ssi-Ruuk, though we are currently not their ally. We have not entered the known galaxy very far, instead staying in our own star system, and sending aid to those who need it. One of the planets that needed our aid was Bakura. Bakura had been scared of a repeat attack from the Ssi-Ruuk, and despite their attempts to have a large defence fleet, they were not very well defended. We came in, and offered our help, peacefully. They accepted, and are now a proud member of the Farquak Empire, with a fair vote in everything. We also have a small garrison on Endor, but that is mainly just a base to help travellers on route to Bakura. We became aware of a sickness that was wiping out the citizens of Bakura, which we have come to call, the Fa'w Gen, or Terrible Plague. They need bacta to help them, but with the huge prices, it is nearly impossible for them to get it. Therefore, we went to Thyferra, after researching it's history. LFX Industrial now controls it, though that is going to change. Despite the fact that LFX Industrial is a corporation and not a company, they have a fleet large enough to threaten whole worlds, and we are trying to stop them. A corporation shouldn't have that much firepower under their control. We also found that according to one Lord Meschi, who was formerly of HDE, a recently surface Empire that declares that TJE and TTR are criminals, or lead by them, we learned that LFX Industrial and HDE are one and the same, LFX Industrial a cover company for HDE. We do not agree with HDE's attack on Ando, a peaceful world. We do not think that HDE's threatening is needed. We are taking action, and will not allow them to grow, operating under the cover of a company. The Holy Domesthian Empire is a bunch of cowards, hiding behind the mask of a corporation, and we do not think highly of cowards. I call for LFX or HDE to surrender, handing control of Thyferra and everything to do with it over to the Farquak Empire. All ships currently in Thyferran Space will be surrendered to us. All civilians, try to stay away from our warships, we will not purposely fire on you, but it would be wise to avoid the Thyferran System. Also, I am transmitting the location of Farquak to you, so that we can have trade with the galaxy."

A picture of the galaxy, with Bakura, Farquak and a safe hyperspace route between them, avoiding Ssi-Ruuk space entirely, by making two jumps, clearly marked out, was put onto the Holonet, and stayed there. Crinium voice continued.

"We have purposely shown you the safe route that avoids the Ssi-Ruuk Territory, as we can not say that they will not be hostile. We are currently planning to build a base of operations inbetween Farquak and Bakura, so that you can travel easier."

Crinium ended the message, though he send the location of Farquak and the safe route to numerous corporations, and as many libraries as possible.

As much as I am flabbergasted by the thrilling announcement of your race's choice to reveal yourselfs, I am just as equally as horrified by your apparent agressiveness towards those who welcome you.

LFX is indeed a corporation, and one of the finest since Cryonic's Industries, thus far they have done an exemplary job of maintaining trade, and ensuring prosperity for those that deserve it, those deemed deserving not by them, but the galaxy as a whole. Seti Ashar has as much right to hold dominion over such resources as Bacta, as long as he distributes them accordingly as he is contracted to do so. You seem to complain about the high price of Bacta, and how you must, wrestle this resource from thier hands.

My friend, you must be sorrowfully unfamiliar with how exactly buisness' such as LFX operate, as well as the 'principle of supply and demand'. Seti Ashar shells out a near-fortune to in contractual orders from the Thyferran people to maintain his exclusivity to said resource, and in order to turn a profit it is charged at a reasonabley high, but yet affordable price.

In short, by all known galactic Law, LFX industrial has the right to harvest and distribute bacta, and you nor anyone else has the right to arbitrarily remove them . . . and I think that the moment you decided to make yourself a part of our galactic community you immediately made yourself part and parcel to these laws, but yet here you are, breaking them.

You are not exempt from such law. If however you feel that you are indeed above the law, then you are not fit to remain in the space governed by these laws, and thusly a criminal.

Again, another incident where LFX is entirely justified to maintain a defensive fleet. You are the prime example of why they are allowed to do so. Greedy, violent people, such as yourself sir, are exactly why said corporation must, and does rightly defend itself.

My dear alien friend, I must say that if you were to listen to every insubstantiated piece of trash circulating on the holonet then you must also believe that Palpatine was a woman, Nerf's rule the galaxy and Kessel is actually a fun vacation resort.
You come across as an intelligent man, at least for a while there, and it puzzles me to see how one such as yourself follows these rumours, especially one made by a notoriously manipulative sith.

In closing I'd like to say this, if you indeed go ahead with any military action, not only will it result in a massive loss of life, not just for the people but for the galactic trade's health as a hole, it will also be a degrading mark on the profile of your people. Surely you wish not to be protrayed as a war mongering species full of despotic leaders hell bent on galactic conquest. One senator Palpatine attempted such an action and plunged the galaxy into almost a century of despair and destruction . . .by bringing down this on LFX, you bring down your own name and the entire galaxy.

Think on your actions . . . manipulation and lies are powerful tools, you should do yourself some good and learn to distinguish between the two before you are landed in some real trouble . . .
