Shortly after the Imperial Empire's surprising defeat by the Republic, a galactic rumor hinting at the reestablishment of Caamas began to take shape. Caamas, once home to the pacifist Caamasi, had since been quilted with dark clouds laden with acid and poison - the deadly aftermath of the early Palpatine's relentless purge of it after the Clone Wars. Although this rumor was built purely on suspicion - on the assumption that Caamas would be rehabilitated with the loss of the Empire's watchful eye - arrangements for a secret conference of the heirs to the former Caamasi administrators had simultaneously been completed and the meeting was months away from convening.

The Caamasi people made great progress at establishing a form of government that best serves the people. The Caamasi Protectorate is headed by the ministers of the governments four major departments, called the Ministry of Public Safety.

The Department of Galactic Exchange is headed by Minister Ceros Sin'Kii. Members of the DoE act as the Protectorate's ambassadors to the galaxy at-large. These Caamasi have been highly trained handle the Protectorate's intergalactic commerce issues and establishing diplomatic contacts.

The Department of Defense is headed by Minister Rodis Ket'Brae. The DoD developed the new approach to protecting Caamasi for future generations.

The Department of State is headed by Minister Criaal Tal'Kad. The DoS is responsible for the well-being of the Caamasi people. Many Federal Monitors will be used to oversee the reconstruction of Caamas, and take a role in the local government as an observer and report back the Ministry. Federal Monitors will act as the voice of the common Caamasi.

The Department of Justice is headed by Minister Telgos Kel'Sii. Members of the DoJ offers its services to the greater galaxy as impartial mediators.
