(The following video was sent to various holo-net affiliates, INS and multiple Imperial governmental agencies.)

*Brutus Nogoth is standing against his typical blank backdrop, though the astute observer can tell that the wall behind him is not the usual setting for his releases.*

"Greetings."

Brutus's face was split with a large, genuine smile.

"I know some of you may be shocked to see me, but despite the INS's reporting I am alive and kicking. I thought releasing 3 videos would confirm that, but there's always someone somewhere who seems to miss the message."

Brutus paused.

"This time it was the entire Anthos Republic."

Brutus was referring to an Anthos News Report that a GLF "splinter cell" had blown up a subway train. Although he was happy that every bombing from Coruscant to Tatooine was being attributed to his organization, the Anthos bombing was something he had nothing to do with, and no real reason to take credit for.

Settling back into his normal fascade, Brutus continued.

"Now, for the serious part of this message."

*The camera changed quickly to a view of the Serif , the transport Brutus had recently captured, sitting in the docking bay of an ISD. Brutus continued as a voice over.*

"This ship is the passenger liner, Serif bound for Corulag. Filled with the family members of the newest graduating class of Imperial military personal from Corulag sattilite academy."

*The view changed to the inside of the Serif , showing large groups of people, sitting or standing, apparently unaware they were being seen on camera. Several armed figures could be made out around them.*

"Due to some minor difficulties, the Serif has been detoured. But don't worry, everything will be alright, as long as the Imperial government and its populace show that they are compassionate rational people."

*The camera view came back to Brutus.*

"What I propose is simple and straight forward. A fair and equitable trade. I will release, unharmed, every passenger on the Serif, if the Empire will repatriate all members of the GLF currently in Imperial custody. If, as the Empire claims, they have captured thousands of our brethern on Sluis Van"

*The look Brutus gave indicated how exaggerated he assumed the report to be- the GLF rarley had operations involving thousands of terrorists at once.*

"then such a trade will be a fair deal- our guys for your guys. Even if one side happens to have more than the other"

*Brutus winked to continue the earlier insinuation*

"who are we to decide whose lives are more important. A full trade will be completed regardless of the number. Hinging of course, on your benevolent government's acquiescence. Of course, the Empire might have already listened to its own citizen's petitions, and conducted summary executions. In such a case, the prescedent has been set, and the GLF will not defy such an Imperial mandate."

*The large, genuine smile once again crossed Brutus's face*

"If the Empire does wish to complete such a trade, then they have 72 hours to make a public declaration of such an intention. If they choose not to respond, then I will assume that they have no intent on protecting their citizens, at which time the apporopriate action will be taken."

Brutus paused.

"I'll be waiting."

*The video turned black*
