We have more males with female alts than we do females full stop, to be fair.

Most places are like that. I know a few where the females outnumber the males, but those places are hard to come by.

any Twilight or Harry Potter board and you've got females outnumbering the males...

Lol. I wouldn't be caught dead on either types of those boards. They were Star Wars boards. My hatred for the Twilight series knows absolutely no bounds.

BTW, sorry I'm taking so long to get a character together. I ran into some trouble this week, and they needed counselors on suicide watch. >_<

So... I've finally gotten around to writing up my character, and I have a question:

Are self-made species allowed? I have a species that I've been playing with for about a year now that's a sentient plant. (Well, closer to a fungus, really, but... y'all get the idea.) I've played plenty of canon species in the meantime, so it's not like I'm out of practice, but I do enjoy playing one of my Hanoori.

Within reason, we do allow any user generated content. If it seems like it belongs in the Star Wars universe (or its really, really cool), chances are you're good. But if you're planning on making a character who is a Saiyan or a Klingon, we tend to frown on it. Verbally. With swear words.

As Zark said, new species are cool, we've had a number of people make new species for TRF. The Cree'Ar, Azguards and Cren are just some of the many. Also, while you haven't really mentioned it yet, but it might be worth mentioning new planets are common and accepted as well. The main thing that is requested is that the new species or planet isn't over powered. For example, we don't want you to invent a species that are all force sensitives and can take on jedi masters with ease. Or a new planet with a desired product, like bacta. In canon bacta is a limited resource only available on one planet and the faction which controls said planet gets the benefit of having that control. Its just one of those things.

Lol. I am a big fan of the common sense rule, so you don't need to worry about me doing or making anything OP. Hanoori are specifically one of the least likely species to produce a force sensitive, actually. They have pods of 250 seedlings and only like 6-20 survive. They need light, water and nutrients, like most other plants and have various other restrictions, just like any species. I'll write up a full thing on the Hanoori species and Del Fann... a planet that isn't particularly remarkable in any respect, except that you'll find a bunch of oddly shaped plants that talk with one another in a strange, pitched language.

Thanks for the info!

Ahh the Hanoori. I did enjoy your work with them on SWM. It was well done.
