Leonidas and Izizi stood with their backs against the wall as, after a big boot to the head, Spiritius began pumelling Max as he lay bleeding on the floor. Leonidas knew that this would teach Max a lesson in respect, but he still did not fight. He believed that there would be no honour in a mass beat up of just one person. Instead, he watched on in the hope of seeing tenacity from Max and mercy from Spiritius. If not, than he would have to interfere. Leonidas signalled Izizi to ready his bolt thrower, just in case the situation would get out of control...
The hauntings of the past
Max didn't want to fight, but he knew he must at least defend himself. He jumped up and punched his attacker with a boost of the force and knocked the man backwards. Max didn't like that much, but he waited for the man's next move. Max didn't like these people at all.
As I lay on the floor, I felt blood dripping from my lip. I touched where I believed it came from and winced in pain. It was clearly worse than I thought. I decided that it was time to fight. I stood up and waited for Max to punch me.
Max simply stood in patience, waiting for something to happen. The seconds ticked by and I started to lose the will to control my anger, within a few seconds I suddenly rushed at Max and punched him directly into the stomach. He fell into the wall and began sliding down in pain, but this was not enough. I ran and kicked his head against the wall and he slid further down the wall.
The groans from Max were of a painful and angry form yet I knew that he would fight no more. He had several broken ribs and a broken jaw from what I could see at a glance but I decided to give him a lesson in respect. I took out my double-bladed knife and sliced his leg open, the blood seeping through onto his clothing. I then did the same with other leg and knew that he would struggle to walk for several hours.
He surely would've learnt his lesson by now, and at that I turned to see what Leonidas had to say...

Leonidas just stood there, watching, waiting to see the outcome. Spiritius had lost control of himself, he had become a monster. Yet Max had always remained calm, always in control no matter what. Even his painful grunts where controlled as not to reveal the true pain he was feeling. Suddenly, Spiritius' gaze met that of Leonidas. Leonidas took his dagger out of his right hand pocket and, without saying a single word, he motioned to Spiritius that he would use the dagger against the vulnerable human that lay on the floor. Slowly, he stepped towards Max, as if to finish him off, but instead he clicked his fingers. Suddenly, a tremendous bolt of electricity soared out of Izizi's bolt thrower, which then connected with Spiritius and sent him flying into a corridor wall. Partially concussed, temporarily paralyzed, Spiritius looked upwards at the figure of Leonidas standing above him.
"Did you not think, Spiritius, that we might need him? You know what I saw in you during that...that...attack?! I saw an animal. Yet throughout all of that, Max was the better man. I'm pretty sure that he's learnt his lesson, and that you've learnt yours. You forget that I don't owe any alliances to anyone and that, if I have to, I will kill you both"
Leonidas stepped baclwards so that he could see the looks exchanged between Max and Spiritius. Regretful energy filled the area. Knowing that neither of them vould get up, Leonidas and Izizi proceeded to pull a group of parts out of Leonidas' back-pack which they then formed into a hover-stretcher. Leonidas addressed the two men on the floor once more:
"Now then, an old friend of mine down the hall owes me a favor, and he just happens to be a doctor. So luckily for you two, I'm gonna waste that favour"
After they lifted Spiritius onto the stretcher and placed Max onto Leonidas' back, the unlikely duo of a human and a Jawa proceeded to take their injured companions to the so-called 'doctor'...
(OOC: Don't post anything yet because I'm trying to get a friend of mine to post as the doctor. He's a really good writer)

Doctor Farmecian slowly sat down at the table opposite a young man with long dark hair that shielded his eyes and a adrk cloak that covered his entire body. Only his mouth and the tip of his nose were not covered. Beside him sat a Jawa, slowly sipping from a flask that he had taken out of his friend's backpack earlier. He had met both of these travellers before, and now they had returned. Farmecian slid a cup filled with a dark green liquid across the table into the withheld hand of the man opposite him. Leonidas studied it closely as a look of confusion came over his face.
"What's this" asked Leonidas, still puzzled at the liquid contents of the cup.
"It's an energy drink known as Pharmalerriam Buzz. It's fairly knew, but it should keep you going for hours"
Unwillingly, Leonidas took down a mouthful of the drink. After a hesitant gulp, he slammed the cup down on the table.
"That's disgusting!"
"Yeah but it's good for you" replied Farmecian cheerily, "It's Doctor reccomended."
Leonidas chuckled to himself as he changed the topic of the conversation, "So how are they doing doc?"
"They're both fine and have fully recovered after I placed them in Bacta tanks whilst you were napping. However, I'm keeping them in a semi-conscious state so that they're systems can catch up with the healings. Also, after what you told me about them, I'm pretty sure that the first thing they would do once they awaken would be to try and kill you"
A grin of realisation came over Leonidas' face as, unnoticed to him, Izizi reached down the left leg of the table and reached for his gun. Fermacian continued to talking,
"By keeping them in this state I hope that their subconscious minds will lessen the anger within them and calm them down"
Suddenly, Izizi struck Leonidas over the back of the head with his bolt thrower as Leonidas' unconscious body went dead weight abd his forehead struck the top of the table.

After waiting for the initial dizziness to pass, Leonidas jolted himself into a seated position. To his right lay the semi-conscious bodies of General Spiritius and Max Reem. A cold sensation ran from just below Leonidas' left elbow down to the tip of his left-hand fingers. He looked in awe at the mechanism attached to his arm.
"Marvellous, isn't it?"
"What the hell is this?"
Farmecian sat on the edge of the bed next to Leonidas as he calmly moved Leonidas' arm towards him.
"This," he said while pointing to a sliding piece of metal located halfway up his forearm with a metallic knob on the end, "Is a safety lock, Slide left to unlock, and right to lock. By switching the safety off, you will be able to use that" Farmecian pointed gleefully at a blade underneath a series of metal strips and mechanisms. Carefully, he pointed Leonidas' away from both their bodies. "Now clentch your left hand into a fist"
Wasting no time, Leonidas did as he was told. Suddenly a blade sliced threw the air, it's tip about 6 inches away from his clenched fist. A look of awe came over Leonidas' face as Farmecian concluded his instructions,
"To retract it, simply pull back this lever here, and the springs will send it back. It's made of Durasteel with a cortosis alloy, so it's partially resistant to lightsabres."
Leonidas looked at Izizi, who was watching from about 5 meters away. "And you planned this while I was sleeping. Why didn't you just tell me, you know I would've said yes"
Izizi said a quick sentence in Jawan as a look of comprehension came over Leonidas' face. "You know," said Leonidas mournfully, "I'm gonna miss having a middle finger"

Leonidas, Izizi and Farmecian sat merrily around the table for hours, laughing and joking and telling tales of their old times. They sat relaxed, being in good company as they followed up a hearty meal with drink and fine cigarras made of the much loved rushallo leaves. Although it was hard to tell the time on a space station, people still knew when they were tired.
After Izizi and Farmecian left to go to their sleeping quarters, Izizi was given Farmecian's guest bed, Leonidas stayed awake, relishing the temporary peace he was now experiencing. The glasteel parting behind him slid open as a now familiar face walked through and sat in the seat opposite him.
"Mornin'" said Leonidas cheerfully as he opened up the cigarra box and slid it across the table towards Max. Not knowing what Max was thinking about, Leonidas engaged him in conversation;
"Whatever you have to say, just say it" Parting his dark hair in order to get a better look, Leonidas leant back on his chair, blowing smoke rings as he listened to what Max had to say...

Max was tired of fighting and wanted to get out of there, but decided against.

Leonidas chuckled at Max's question.
"I should be asking you that question! But me, I'm worried. Where do I go from here? I had my doubts about Spiritius, and now they've been proven true. Even if I get off this hell-hole, where do I go? I'm tired of being a shadow, I want to be known. I want to be part of something. I want to finally know that I belong"
Leonidas took a lengthy drag of his cigarra and puffed out a large smoke ring. "I learnt to do that from an old hermit I met on Nar Shadaa. You know Max, I see you as someone that knows what they are doing in life. Someone who's controlled, no matter what. I admire that. I hope your life is better than mine" Leonidas took a heavy gulp of his brew as he listened to what max was saying...

"I'm a jedi. I get few 'pleasures,' but I do understand what you mean. I learned what I was going to do with it a long time ago when I was being trained in the way of the jedi." Max said." I focused in 'physical combat' my master would say,"
Max trusted this man and undertood what he meant, Max had to follow his road, oh so many times.
"How would you like to come with me to fight under me and hundreds of others. I would like you to become a Special Operations Leader and fight for Germanica. How would you like that?"

Leonidas leant back in his chair and pondered as he slowly smoked his cigarra. After a while, he slowly leant and excitedly replied;
"When can I start?"
"When can I start?"
"Let's get going now. Okay?" Max asked Leonidas.
"First we need to thank the doc," Max looked at leonidas and realized they did need to, he saved a life and gave Max a boost.
