Two ships dance around trying to get a shot at each others, but to no result. The smaller fighter preforms a clever move and speeds away, but the other doesn`t quit that easily and continues the chase. Dango moves his ship behind the other one a begins to fire at it, but suddenly it turns towards him and he has to move to avoid the death of them both. Survived from the sudden suprise suicide attack by his victim he turns his ship around only to see it preparing to jump into hyperspace. Dango knows that his employer wouldn`t be too happy if this slimey cheater got away and he launches a tracking device. The other ship jumps to hyperspace, but Dango stay`s waiting for his victim to think that he got away and after a while jumps to hyperspace. Dango pushes to buttons quickly and follows his prey to hyperspace.

He rubs his chin with a smile on his face, because the victim thought propably that he had gotten away, but soon he would be suprised. After a while the stops and begins to search for his prey, he stops in amaze when his map shows that his prey had stopped. Dango grins and heads for the signal, but when he gets there the only thing he can see is a meteor with some craters. He turns and quickly sents his few patrol droids to find the target, but suddenly the victim appears behind him and begins to fire at him. Dango makes a quick manouver, but gets hit badly and almost crashes against the asteroid soil. He quickly checks the damage and sents out his droids to fix the damaged hull of the ship, but meanwhile the prey had jumped to hyperspace and got away. Dango hits his hand against the control panels of his ship when he discovers that the hyperdrive had been damaged to un-useable and begins to uploading cordinates to the nearest planet, but realises that there is a bigger ship nearby where he could preform the repairs.

He gets contact with the ship while approaching it.

"Please indetify yourself and inform of your business on Astral Astoria"
"Im here to repair my ship and after that I`ll leave, nothing more, nothing less. My indentity is un important"

"Well in that case we wish you a good stay at..."Dango closes the connection

He slides his ship into the hangar and walks out of the cockpit to his weapon closet, he arms him self with a blaster, his favourite hand blade that he could quicly attach to his robot arm and his robot hand blaster rifle. Next he puts on his black jacket to cover his tattoed body and takes his fighting stick which had electricity trough its both heads when activated. Finally he opens the door out of the ship and jumps down. "First things first" Dango speaks with some mechanics and pays for the repair, but after the mechanics made the diagnose he gets angry.

"What? How repairing one hyperdrive can take 2 weeks?" Dango almost shouts
"Well you see, we haven`t got the right parts at the moment and the next delivey is coming next week besides we have other customers. Meanwhile I advise you to relax Zabrak"

Dango leaves filled up by the rage, not because the ships repair would take so long, but that his prey had gotten away and his rage would be nothing to compared his employers rage when he would get these bad news.

Astral Astoria Downport



"This is it?.." Kesser asked without breaking his gaze from the ship in front of him...

"Yes this is the one..." Confirmed the mechanic shifting his weight from one foot to another uneasily , (he didn't like Policemen much).

Kesser murmurmed a kinda of ominous sounding grunt in response as his eyes narrowed studying the ship before him (which the mechanic took to be disapproval)...

"...whats wrong with it?.." He asked eventually, as he turned to face the mechanic...

"..well the hyperdrive's shot, motivator needs replacing..." He replied matter of factly...

"...how long will that take?..." Kesser asked raising an eyebrow...

"..er..about two weeks, we don't have the right replacment in stock right now"

A frown burrowed its way into Kesser's brow as he considered this unwelcome prospect...

He knew a Bounty Hunter when he saw one.

Kesser didn't like Bounty Hunters, they operated outisde the law, and that as far as he was concerned , made them no better than the quarry they hunted themselves. To have an armed Bounty Hunter walking about the Astoria for the next two weeks was asking for trouble.

Delving his hands into his pockets, he took one last look at the ship before acknowledging the mechanic and taking his leave.

The Astral's computer system had scanned the Hunter the moment he had set foot onboard, the same as it scans everyone, he appeared to be well armed...

Plus the fact the stranger had declined to leave a name, that had instantly arose suspicion....

..and Kesser didn't like it...

He'd be keeping an eye on this stranger, and if he made just one wrong move out of line...well

Kesser would make sure he'd be there...

With this thought in mind he exited the repair bay and followed in the last direction of the visitor...

Hi welcome to TRF! I'm assuming this is open (as all threads in here are unless stated otherwise, but if you don't want any interruption say so and I'll delete my post).

Dango walks straight to the bar to cool his rage with some drink, he steps into the bar knowing that every one was watching him, which made him smile. "Fear.." He whispered to him self making the only sound besides the clap of his boots and staff, even the band had stopped playing. Everyone remained death quiet as he walks to the bartender leaving his staff against a chair, but still in his reach for emergency and sat in front of the bartender. He looks around when everyone was still watching him, but when he turned his head and looked the watchers in the eyes, they turned away to their drink knowing that there was no reason to continue staring. Some customers leave the bar in a hurry, the band continues to play like nothing had happened and some customers are reliefed that there wouldn`t be any trouble with this bounty hunter.

"Wh..What would you like to have sir?"
Dagon sighs "Give me just something that doesn`t cost much, but tastes good and you don`t have call me sir because almost everyone knows for their first look that I´m a bounty hunter."

Dango turns in his chair and looks around while the bartender begins to make a drink for him, some thugs thought that a bounty hunter was a natural thing and had never even stared at him. "Wise move" Dango thought to himself, but then he watched around the bar roof and walls looking for sonething and shakes his head. "How stupid can you get.." Dango says when he spots the security camera watching specificly at him, but doesn`t really care anymore when he gets his drink. Dango drinks some of it and draws a notebook from his pocket with melancholic face and makes some markings, 14 bountys collected and now the first has gotten away. Dango hated his own blind greed for attacking straight ahead after the hyperspace jump without checking that was anyone behind him or was it a set up. He had 2 choices, either to continue the search which now seemed desperate or go back to his boss and tell him of his failure, which he would be punished of course. Even death was a punishment, but Grecka was too wise to kill one of his most promising start of a bounty hunter. Failure was not a choice, not because he wouldn`t lose his life, but because it would be a shame and Grecka would drop his payments. His ship, which he had enherited from his mother who also was a bounty hunter was not in its best shape and its weaponry needed upgrades, when her mother had lived the The Golden Sting had been one of the most finest ships in the service of Grecka, but now it was almost a joke compared to the other ships. Dango finishes his drink and gives the bartender few credits for the drink, he picks up his staff and begins leave the bar with everyone staring at his back. Before he gets out he pulls out his blaster and shoots the thugs in the corner table who were aiming at his back causing panic in the bar, he laughs reloading the blaster hand and leaves the bar towards his ship where he would kill time until the repairs were complete. Alltough he knew that he had to be careful because of the security and those thugs who were working for Grecka. He could tell from their movements and style of acting, but mostly because they had Greckas red bandanas wrapped around their arms.

"Well its seems that Grecka can just be that stupid.." Dango smiles slightly.

Now he had to find a new boss and exile from Greckas turf quickly, but that wouldn`t be too easy because the repairs would take almost 2 more weeks so he would be a sitting duck...

Dango walks out of the bar with people screaming behind him and turns around the corner excepting a new attack on him, because he knew too well that Greckas thugs wouldn`t be working in pairs. To his suprise there was no-one there and the only sound was the screams behind him, he continues his walk slowly pondering what was wrong.

"No-one ready to ambush me? Strange...Unless..Oh no...They were waiting for me at the bar and that means that they knew where I came from!"

Dango makes a run towards the hangar where his ship was located and pushes some civilians out of his way making them fall on the ground. Dango arrves to the hangar and looks around thinking quickly as he could

"No thugs? That`s strange.."

Then he saw an explosive on the hull of the golden sting and made a run for it, he reaches the explosive and begins to de-activate it quickly as the numbers run towards the end. The thugs appear from the shadows with a male zabrak who is dressed in black clothes like Dango, meanwhile Dango feverously pushes the buttons trying to defuse the bomb.

The green light lights up and Dango smiles slightly, but jumps to the side just to avoid the blaster shot, which luckily didn`t hit the bomb. Dango turns around to look at the shooter and see`s the thugs, walks to towards them and few of the thugs with blades approach him. Dango places his staff on his shoulder and activates it when the heads open, first 2 spikes come out and start to spin creating. Next a third spike rises in the center creating an electric shield around the spikes and as the first thug approaches trying to hit Dango with a clumsy hit, Dango hits the man giving him a shock, that kills the man.

"I think Grecka has to hire more thugs if he is to get me, but in 2 weeks he`ll be out of business if the quality doens`t get any better and the rest of you are warned." Dango smiles creating an atmosphere of fear and silence except the sound of his whirling staff

The thugs hesitate and Dango uses his chance by throwing his staff at one of the thugs stomach impaling him, but the impaling didn`t really kill him, the electricity did. Dango quickly drops to his knee and fires with his blaster hand at the remaining thugs, but when the rest of the thugs return the fire Dango has to take cover behind some boxes. He reloads his hand blaster and whispers to himself

"Way to start these 2 weeks Dango, just terriffic way to get the polices attention."

Dango says when he once again takes cover, but soon realises that the blaster fire had stopped and he takes a peek behind the boxes when he gets a shot at his left arm. Dango grins in pain and tries to return the fire only to notice that they began to reload their weapons. Dango jumps behind the boxes shooting at the thugs and manages to kill 2 of them while their zabrak boss takes cover. "Now comes the hard part, killing the bounty hunter." Unfortunately he notices that his blaster had jammed, the only way now was to go close combat with his favourite weapon. Suddenly the shots stop and Dango jumps behind the boxes running towars his enemy revealing his blade, but it seemed that the bounty hunter was more clever than he had thought. The other Zabrak had taken his deadly staff out of the thugs stomach and was already running towards him. Dango stopped to avoid the deadly hit towards his head and ducks, but plays this one better in the start and jumps between the bounty hunters legs. While sliding between the zabraks leg`s he cuts the zabraks knee open making him colape out of pain, but the fight wasn`t over yet. The zabrak got on his other knee and now tried to continue the fight by trying to sting Dango with the staff. Dango jumps back and takes his blade back as he grabs one of the thugs blasters, Dango lands on his back and shoots the wounded zabrak in the chest ending the fight. Dango rests there for a while grinning in pain and gets up slowly with some mechanics watching him, Dango gathers his weapons and turns around hearing someone crying out in pain. One of the thugs had been lucky and got a shot that hadn`t killed him and Dango kneels next to the thug realising that it had only been an 17 year old human boy. Dango had his own reality and own understanding of pride, but this was just going too far and he had never realised the age of the his victims in the fight.

"Plea...please just finnish me off...get me out of this misery.." The boy whispers
Dango smiles"I`m sorry, but this is the only time that i won`t be able to do that, because I need you to convince Grecka that I`m dead and in return you`ll get payed. Of course you also keep your life"

Dango raises the boy on up and takes the boy to the ship where he puts the boy into medical care, now was the crucial moment that he could get his freedom and get out of his care`s. He returns to the battle place and raises the zabrak on his shoulders carying the body the ship where he places the body next to the boy on the medical section, which had only 2 beds. The boy was silent all the time while Dango began to adjust the laser ready for operating. Dango orders the laser to shape the bounty hunters face to remind his own as well it could, some bone structures might have been different, but that wouldn`t mean anything as long as the it bought him enought time to get away. When the process is complete Dango leaves the body there and opens a camera panel to get contact with the closest base of Grecka, the boy finally in Dango`s suprise begins to speak.

"Why did you save me? I mean I don`t see that I could be any use for you.."

Dango turns around with a cunning smile on his face

"Really? Well your task will be very simple boy the only thing you`ll have to do is to inform Grecka that you have my body and your brinning it to him. After that you do it and get a handsome bounty from that fat worm, but if you turn me in I swear by my mothers grave that you won`t live long enough to enjoy that amount of money. Understood?"
"Yes sir..." the boy whispers
Dango shakes his head "Just don`t call me that, all this calling a sir thing makes me sick, because there is almost nothing glorious in bounty hunting, but now get ready and remember that I´m aiming at you every moment."

The boy walks in front of the camera and begims to speak when a rude souns ask him "what now?"
"We have gotten him boss."
"Good, good...wheres the body?"

The camera turns to the body and the speaker sounds happy

"Good..good bring his body to me and I`ll see to that you are handsomely rewarded"
"Yes Sir.."

The connection closes and Dango smiles, the boy takes the body of the zabrak and dango gives him the last words.

"Remember boy, when you get your bounty you disappear from Greckas turf ok? You buddies propably had a ship so you can use that right?"
"Yes and I can pilot it.." the boy answered..
Dango smiles"And now beat it!"

The boy leaves with the body and soon Dango see`s a ship leave the Astral Astoria, but the danger wasn`t over yet because he still had to deal with the authorities around here. Dango checks the condition of his ship and puts his weaponry away except for his blade of unpleasant suprises. Dango closes the ships entering and sits in the cockpit crossing his hands behind his head. Finally a moment of peace....
