[FONT=Palatino Linotype]Aboard "The Avenger" Pirate Craft[/FONT]

The Endor system looked so picturesque when the suns descended upon it. The forest moon of which the system recieved its namesake greeted a gentle ray of sun, covering its northern hemisphere. Unfortuneately, Pirates do not have time to observe beauty.

A young, tall human sat in the cockpit, checking the radar signals. This had to be the most boring job on the ship, staying on post, watching a green screen bring up pictures of passing Imperial ships day in, day out. But perhaps this human was lucky, as he could have had to have been the bathroom cleaner, like a certain Rodian who tried to backstab the captain.

"Yotan, you maggot!" an old man shouted from the cockpit door, about 2 metres away from where the human was sitting.

"Yes, captain?" Yotan answered without any expression.

"Anything on the screens?" the captain asked bluntly.

"Three TIE fighters, thats been it." Yotan bluntly replied.

"Youd better shout me if anything else comes past" the captain smirked, returning to his dormitory.

"Stupid old man" Yotan thought, smirking slyly to himself. "And now, back to the most boring job on the ship" he thought to himself, watching asteroids pass.

What happened next was all too fast for the young Corellian to recognize....

[FONT=Palatino Linotype]The black Eta-2 Interceptor flashed from around the far end of Endor. Its engines were smoking a trail that could easily be seen from quite a distance away. Trailing the small ship were two TIE Interceptors that were engaged in a pursuit with the vessel, firing repeatedly.

A crackling voice came over the speakers of the Eta…

“You are ordered to stand down or be destroyed.”

Aliya thought to herself…

Figures, they are always so direct.

Handling the controls as best she could, Aliya managed to evade many of the shots being fired at her. Still, her ship was badly battered and would not last much longer in a fight.

The decision had to be made. Did she try to still outrun the TIE Interceptors or did she head for the planet in hopes of getting the ship safely to the surface?

Neither…

Aliya smirked as she swung her ship around and started firing head on with the two ships following her. Dodging left and right, Aliya was able to destroy one of the targets which exploded in a burst of light. As she focused on the other, she was hit in the starboard engine which totally disabled it as the ships swooped passed each another.

“Damn!”

Gritting her teeth, Aliya swung her ship around. The main power systems were now fluctuating making the lights of the cockpit flash on and off until the main power shut down.

She was not an easy target.

The TIE Interceptor had now come about and began closing in on the Eta…

Yotan stared on in disbelief, shock keeping him still. He remained stationary for a second until he came to his senses, pulling the alarm. "TIE INTERCEPTORS! TIE INTERCEPTORS!" Yotan cried down the speaker.

The Captain ran into the cockpit. "Now were talking! load of Gunning!" he smirked, speeding towards the Interceptor and Eta. Meanwhile, Higgs, the ships gunner, loaded the Proton Missiles into the cannon, aiming slowly for the TIE.

"Damned Imperials" Yotan muttered.
