Vengeance:((Closed. Finished. Cancelled. OVER))

The Jutraalian Sixth Fleet, a force dedicated to bombardment and the subjugation of planetary bodies, was en route to the sliver of space owned by the infamous Raktus. To further his credit account, he had thrown in his lot with the Imperial Order, and committed his personal soldiers and ships in a war against the Jutraalian Empire.

For this the would pay. Not only in military materiale, he would live to watch his financial Empire crumble about him. There was no better punishment.

" My Lord, we will be reverting to realspace in ten minutes."

" Excellent," the Viscount del Forza replied, his eyes locked into a view of the Fleet's hyperspace tunnel.

" Ready all weapons and get all crews to their fighters. Gunboats and bomber wings are to prepare for launch as well. Load all tubes and launchers."

The actions of a ship preparing for war were apparent in every corner of the vessels of the Sixth Fleet. Lights were dimmed to illuminate displays and save all vital power for non-linked weapons and the shields. Emergency bulkheads were shut and sealed, their crews knowing fate and dedication.

Power was fed to the self-generating turbolasers and laser cannon. The final firing clearance codes were distributed to battery commanders, their guns at peak readiness.

TIEs were fuelled and given their last minute checks. All weapons were active: this was no drill.

" Sir, we have hyperspace terminus."

The Viscount nodded as his flotilla came out of hyperspace several hours away from their intended target as to avoid any abolisher or interdiction fields.

The component sections of the flotilla were spread out so as not to cause a massive blip on Tech sensors. They would undoubtedly be detected, but not identified until their jamming stopped when the ships were within range of the planetary defenses.

The command group and the mighty Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer proudly occupied the center of the broad formation, with II Group on their right and IV Group on their left.

" Begin charging the primary weapon."

" Authoritation code:" prompted the first officer of the flagship.

The Viscount replied somberly. " Xuthall: Tango, Bravo, Omega, 99117-5."

" Second code: Terrin: Alpha, Echo, Alpha, Omega, 64585-4," added Captain Yamarr.

The weapons officer concurred. " Authorization codes valid. Firing sequences unlocked. Superlaser is at the Grand Inquisitor's disposal."

" Commence primary ignition."

With that, the massive shaft began to receive high funnelled amounts of energy, its vortex readying to fire. In matter of hours, the weapon would be ready to do its intended task: break down the planetary shielding ahead.

" Begin launching fighters. Gunboats and blastboats to form component squadrons and await orders.

" Begin our journey."

The fleet began its sublight trek towards Votras.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> OOC-if i got the world name wrong, then I meant Karnak. I apologize. I am in a hurry. either way, though, it's supposed to be a subordinate Tech world, just not their home planet.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

There is no planet in the galaxy known as Karnak, and even if there is IDT doesn't control it.

Also, I see no starfighters... methinks you should add them in so that Raktus doesn't get mad.

OOC-Karnak Alpha. Sorry. I found it as subordinate planet in their planet roster in OOC.

Fighter are standard. Destroyers, four Intercetpr squadrons, one Defender, and one Scimitar. VSDs are two Interceptor squads. Larger ships and command ships are outfitted with Defender wings and Scimitar support. Dreadnaughts hold one squad of Interceptors. All have their standard compliment of gunboats, Skiprays, and Missileboats.

Why doesn't anyone ask TNO their fighter roster...

Because it's a given. So is ours. Listing them is a waste of space.

Taverston Complex
10 min before strike

It was a lazy day in the research wing, Ghost research had recently been transfered to the Tolstoy Complex on Reecee, Karnak Alpha they reasoned was far too remote for a proper research and development project. With most of the top researchers on leave now the complex was on minimal staff.

George O'riley sat back at his desk, a small holomonitor turned on watching a small newscat from Hogvelt. They were going on about the polution or some such jazz, really was making him feel quite drowzy and it wasnt that long before he was dozing off.

That was until a small klaxon on his desk went off, startling him from his chair and into a clump on the floor. A mans face appeared over the screen.

"George? George you there?"

"Ugh, you almost gave me a heart attack dave, now whats all this all about?"

"Check your screens man, then tell me what you see"

He sighed uncomfortably. Work always did manage to tear him from his much needed sleep, even now...

(What the...) he thought

He increased the range, fidled with the frequency a bit, basicly did all he could to prove what he saw wasnt there

"What are those out there? Meteors?"

"Couldnt be George, a while ago they appeared out of no where, fully stoped, and then started moving again. Down here were thinking its a fleet, we just needed confrimations from your instruments"

"Have you alerted the fleet yet?"

"Of course, we've also signaled a few other close fleets, they should be on their way in soon as well"

He sighed and shook his head once more, what was out there, no he really didnt want to know, he just wanted to sleep, it was so late....

...for those that choose the path of darkness...

It comes as no surprise that the Rogue Empire, those that now refer to themselves as Jutrallians, would chose the smallest of opponents to match wits with. It comes as less of a surpirse that these cowards would take the easy road, a quick victory and a parade to celebrate the deaths of the innocents they killed.

So it was that the Galactic Defence Initiative deduced the forthcoming strike against Karnak Alpha, a small world on the edge of Hapan space and under the influence of the IDTech Corporation.

When the first reports came in, of a fleet movement on both the parts of the Jutraalian Empire and the IDTech Corporation, Galactic Defence Initiative warships were already prepared for battle.

Thus came the address from Alderaa Prime, capital city of New Alderaan and center of the GDI government:

Citizens of the galaxy. Today we join what many call the greatest war the galaxy has yet seen. You have all heard the reports of the Jutraalian Empire's cowardly slaying of innocents and unprovoked attack on Fondor. Of Chadd Fearsons' cowardice and refusal to place blame for the destruction of Mist Fleet over Geonosis where it belongs: on the shoulders of his incompitent military.

Many call this war foolish. I am among them. I do not like war. Nay, I hate it. But regardless, I know that war is something that cannot be avoided.

Today our soldiers depart to make the galaxy a safer place. Today we begin the downfall of all that is evil in the galaxy. Emperor Fearsons' is a tyrant, and his iron fist is slowly but surely expanding across this galaxy that we call our home.

This cannot be allowed. We will not allow it.

These soldiers may walk to their deaths, yet they do so willingly and knowingly. Their sacrafice will keep the rest of you safe from the evils that plaque our galaxy.

Today we fight for all that is good. Freedom. Peace. Safety. Today we ignite the lamp that scatters the shadows. Today the Jutraalian Empire will feel the wrath of the light!

<hr>

"Admiral on the bridge!" Admiral Hiram Drayson stepped onto the bridge of the Star Destroyer Arda, the flagship of the new Phalanx Point Fleet with a smile. Finally, after weeks of waiting, the go ahead was given. The fleet was departing for the world of Karnak Alpha, where the forces of the Jutrallian Empire had boxed in the IDTech Corporation.
"Status?" He asked, looking out at the arrowhead bow almost two kilometres distant.
"The Arda is operating at maximum effinciey, Admiral. We await the word." Drayson nodded.
"My word you have. Helm, maximum sublight until we clear the planets gravity well. Prepare for lightspeed."

...beware the wrath of the light...

OOC: this thread is concluded and deemed void. I won't play like this. W'll start over and try again later.

If you want an IC response then, here:

The Jutraalian Fleet, not having reached the boundary of the planetary gravity well or trapped by immobilizer arrays:::Tech didn't have any present:::the fleet disapeared, comng about and vanishing into hyperspace.

They would fight another day.
