Aboard the M-551

He was back. Rear Admiral Lei Lebron was back from retirement. He was once again on the bridge of the sly—yet dangerous— Shroud cruiser. The bridge of the cruiser was compact. In fact the entire ship was very compact. The mission was priority one. The Admiral felt though, that the mission was not suited for his beloved shrouds . Despite the fact the stealth cruisers fit the mission profile best.

Helios

The M-555 Shroud -class cruiser fell out of hyperspace unnoticed. Nothing noticed the shrouds , as they were undetectable. A little more than a hundred and twenty meters and equipped with the most advanced stealth technology every, the Captains of the vessels were well versed in the tactics on how to use the ships to their maximum potential; most studied under Lebron’s command.

“Captain, beginning system wide scan.” Reported the first officer.

“Has the M-556 reported in yet?” Asked Lieutenant Commander Nja, captain of the M-555.

“Yes sir, they are scanning the backsides.” Responded the younger man. Backsides, he meant, in referring to other sides of the planets.

Elsyia

Shroud’s M-557 and M-558 both fell out of hyperspace, scanning for the Galactic Defense Initiative’s fleet just like the dozen or so sister ships were doing elsewhere.

Gallinore

The M-550 and M-559 dropped out of hyperspace simultaneously, both undetected. Instants later they began passively scanning the system. Maybe the might find something. Maybe not.

Rineeki

M-553 and M-554, both Shroud cruisers slowed down to real space in the Rineeki system, in hopes of making a discovery of the Galactic Defense Initiative’s terrorist fleet.

Byss

The Admiral knew what was most likely to happen here at Byss. Reports had spoken of recent combat issues in the area. He felt the small craft fall from hyperspace, soon followed by the voice of the first officer informing the non-existent slow and dumb-witted crewmen of the New Orders craft movements as well as her sister ship the M-552.

“Admiral. We are here."

Where were the fleets?

The Galactic Defence Initiative had hundreds of ships, yet where they were was still a mystery.

They were not there. They were hiding, waiting to strike. Waiting to eat the enemy alive where they were weakest.

The New Order's pitiful attempts to locate them would not help them. It was all planned out long ago.
