<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Today...it was finally here! It had seemed so far away, but it was here. Smoke would make his presence in the universe known once again. The past five years he had been secretly training with an exiled Jedi hermit. Well, not Jedi anymore, but Dark Jedi. Master Fezzy Benjal had passed away a week or so ago, just after Smoke had completed his training. Benjal was the only person to see Smoke after...after the accident. Smoke didn't like to think about that day five years ago. The Imperial Forces had classified it as a failure, and the cover up seemed very believable. The ship ran into an old mine field left over from a small war years before...HA! Smoke knew better. He was the only survivor, or so he thought, left over from that mess. He didn't care if the rest of the universe knew the truth, most people had forgotten about the whole incident. Smoke forced himself to think about that day...when his whole life was destroyed...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> <!--EZCODE CENTER START-->
Commander Gorelli: "Bring Bokres back at all costs, even if it means your life. It doesn't matter if he's dead or alive, because we will kill him anyway. I just want him stopped!"
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Smoke remembered those words from his mission briefing. He was part of an elite special forces unit of the Empire, all activities were kept top secret. Smoke and the rest of his unit (12 in all) were to break into an SSD and kidnap the captain. If caught, all information of the mission would be destroyed and they would be identified as Rebel spies and executed. This unit was new, and they had been on only a couple of missions. Each member was the best of the best, all being inhumanly smart, eight perfect marksmen, one demolitions expert, and three kidnapping geniouses. Smoke knew this mission would be hard, but he had no idea of what was about to happen.
Everything was going as planned, the group sneaking in during a cargo exchange. They made their way through the ship, using tranq guns to take out their allies, instead of the standard top notch blaster pistols. They kept them strapped on their leg just in case, but the tranq guns were working fine. As they made their way to the bridge where Bokres would be, they realized that their demolitions expert had disappeared. Smoke was sent back to look for him, while the rest of the team progressed to find the Captain. Smoke found the runaway group member in the engines room, tampering with a machine on the floor. Smoke walked up to him, but the man didn't see him.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
Smoke: "What are you doing Zephres?!"
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The man known as Zephres looked up, startled.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
Zephres: "I'm...umm...DANGIT SMOKE! How did I know this would go wrong? I am a fool for listening to Bokres!"
Smoke: "What? What are you talking about?"
Zephres: "Bokres promised me that if I joined him I would be ok, that I would be protected!"
Smoke: "You're with Bokres? How did Gorelli not see this?"
Zephres: "He was too distracted with Bokres to pay any attention to me. But now you've got me. But you're too late! I've wired this whole room with bombs, as well as some other key places in this ship! They will go off in a few minutes, we have to get out of here!"
Smoke: "You aren't going anywhere Zephres. You will come with me and we will deactivate every bomb you've planted."
Zephres: "No, there isn't enough time. Join us, and you can still live!"
Smoke: "I will never join you!"
Zephres: "Well, I am sorry Smoke ol' buddy, but I have to do this..."
Smoke: "Wha!?"
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Zephres threw a flash grenade at Smoke, blinding him, then tackled him to the ground. After a quick punch to the face, the traitor ran, thinking Smoke was knocked out. Smoke never knew what happened to Zephres, but he figured he went down with the ship, along with Bokres. But at that time Smoke was just concentrating on getting out alive. He tried to contact the rest of the team, but nobody answered. He figured Bokres had been expecting them and had had his guards waiting on them. Smoke ran to the nearest escape pod and punched the launch controls. He was soon off of the ship and falling towards a planet he knew nothing about. He looked out of the small window in the pod as the huge ship exploded, taking the rest of his group down. He noticed something small....no larger than a TIE fighter flying off....Smoke didn't think much of it.
Smoke soon landed on a planet very similar to Endor, a lot of forests. After arriving he found a small city, and found out the planet was called Virania. He heard tales of a hermit who supposedly practiced witchcraft a few miles away from the town. Smoke set out to find him.
Smoke arrived at a small hut exactly where the villagers had said it was located. He knocked on the door and no one answered. Using his superb infiltration methods, Smoke broke in undetected, or so he thought. It turned out that the wizard was actually a Dark Jedi, exiled by his former companions of the Jedi Council. His name was Fezzy Benjal, and he knew a lot about the Force. He detected it in Smoke, and decided to take him as an apprentice and train him.
Smoke learned a lot from Master Benjal, and instead of crafting the usual saber that Jedi and Sith use, he was given an ancient Sith sword, one which could go up against a lightsaber and come out unharmed. It was as sharp as the day it was made, and had wierd symbols engraved on the handle.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
Fezzy Benjal: "Do you see those words there on the handle?"
Smoke: "Yes, what do they say?"
Fezzy Benjal: "<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Light or Dark, the Force will always exist.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->"
Smoke: "What does it mean?"
Fezzy Benjal: "That no matter how you use the Force, it will always be there. Doesn't matter if you use it to kill or to make peace, it will always be available to use. It is in all living things, and can be used any way you wish it to be used."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Smoke always remembered what his Master told him, and always kept the sword close by. Fezzy preferred his lightsaber, but Smoke never did like them, and always used the sword for battle. It never lost it's sharpness, and was never scratched or tarnished.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> <!--EZCODE CENTER START-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Smoke was interrupted from his thoughts by the pilot's voice over the intercom.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
Pilot: "We will be approaching Coruscant soon, grab your bags from the overhead storage compartment and prepair for landing."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Smoke grabbed his bag from over his head. All he had in there was his stealth clothes, his ISF blaster, and his Sith sword. It was easy getting them past security, all he had to do was use a small mind trick.
After landing Smoke went to the bathroom, and changed into his ISF stealth clothes with his blaster in its holster on his thigh, and his sword in his hand. He walked out and exited the building, getting odd looks from everyone.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
