A deep, cruel laugh echoed in the mind of Davon Enascor as he shot up errupting from a dream, a vision even. In it, he just saw two brothers. A sick one and a strong, healthy one. Davon also heard a laugh. Not a normal mans laugh but someone elses. Sweat dripped off his chin and onto his lap and bare chest. Although he was still only an apprentice himself, Enascor felt it was his time to leave his master and seek out this being.
"Em Nine," Davon had activated a comlink which rested on a small shelf by his bed, "Ready the ship, I want to leave as soon as I get there."
"Yes Sir," came back the mechanical creation that was off in a docking bay, inside a customized Shroud cruiser. The Shroud had been outfitted to be fully automated by droids and she had been refitted with a docking bay for a snubfighter.
Davon dressed himself in a loose black tunic and pants, his usual attire which his master had given him to wear. He grabbed his belt and slide it around his waist, locking it together with the metal hinge. His belt held not only his lightsaber, but his comlink, an aqua breather, and a few other nifty gadets.
As Davon walked down the corridor, towards the end of the hallway, where the turbolift was came out two men. Dave took note but continued to proceed toward them. When the distance between the two parties was less then ten meters, the men pulled blaster rifles from their backs.
"Davon Enascor. Please stop moving at this time or we will shoot." The one on the left ordered.
"Gentlemen...I am in a rush. So, tell me your point." Mr. Enascor said calmly to them.
"If you'll just," His voice sped up into an adrenilined rushed hate, "DIE!" He screamed at Davon as he and his partner unleasehd a fury of shots at the dark Jedi. Too slow. The Grand Praetor's apprentice had sensed there hate and drew his lightsaber from its clip on his belt. Davon felt reassured as the familiarsnap-hiss, brought the crimson red blade to life. In a matter of seconds the ordeal was over. Davon was on the ground, checking the bodies of the two dead men for any identification or datacards.
The only thing he did find out was that the two both worked for a local delivery service and had used that as a ploy to gain access to Davon. He brushed the matter off as he finished his walk to the bay, as he was unhurt and didn't give a care about the two men he had killed. By the time he reached the Shroud he was already focused again on finding these brothers and who ever was laughing at him.
