The Expansionary Defense Fleet moved with a precision unlike any other in the Galaxy, each starfighter seeming to dance with it's closest counterpart. The Silent Night, and the Darkflame stood next to one another as the fleet pushed on through the well lit central core systems, virtually undetected with a well armed fighter escort. It was a simple fleet, but it was one of the most powerful in the Galaxy. The Sovereign Admiral sat in patience, leaning back and forth as he patted his fongers against the cold leather command chair aboard the Silent Night. House Nuruodo was always prepared for war, and was willing to take whatever steps were necessary to win, even if it ment pre-emptive strike - viewed as murder within the weak Chiss parliment.

She arrow-headed hull of the Interdictor-Class Cruiser sliced through the thick recesses of space as easily as a knive cut through warm Corellian Butter, with a deadly speed and accuracy that rivaled that of the Imperial Fleet itself. House Nuruodo's Expansionary Defense Fleet never ceased training, and rarely went on vacation from it's duty. Xilen looked over with a faint smile at the figure of Laran, his most trusted advisor, and right hand. She was the future, and nothing short of a Goddess within Chiss Society; a true work of art to say the least, though few knew she even existed. That was the beauty of the Special Operations division.

"This should be quite an experience, if our allies show up as planned..." Xilen said with a faint grin of excitement hidden behind a cloak of emotion, but it was obvious he had missed the thrill of Fleet combat, the taste of blood at his hand. Before Larana could answer, the communications officer stood, offering a Chiss salute before reporting. "The Darkflame, under the command of Captain Vequil has reported that it is prepared for combat, sir. We're now entering the Kuat system, just a fraction of a hyperspace jump from Commenor. It won't be long now, Sovereign Admiral."

Xilen nodded his hand, twiddling his lightsabre between his fingers. "Thank you, Ensign. Tell them to go to a Condition Red. All hands to battlestations. This is not a drill." His eyes wandered toward Larana once more. "This should be fun, Executor."

It seemed to be merely seconds before the fleet reverted to real space once more, the first of two attack forces to arrive at Commenor. The large moon of Falor stood out against the pitch blackness that surrounded the planet, and tiny commercial craft scattered in all directions upon sighting the arrival of a warfleet. It seemed too easy to drive fear into the hearts of the untrained that had choosen to lead a peaceful life. Too easy to scare them into doing exactly what you wanted them to do.

"Officer Tred'ale'nuruodo, broadcast an emergency transmission to all civilian craft in the sector. Inform them that the Commenor System is closed to all traffic until further notice." Xilen pointed out of the viewing port of the Interdictor-Class Cruiser at a few commercial vessels that were headed in convoy toward the planet. "Order them to stand down, and hold there position, or be blown out of the sky. Commenor is now under the military control of the Chiss Enclave."

Xilen turned in the automated command chair toward the tactical officer. "Any word from the Dark Envy?" The man nodded his head. He was a younger Ensign; probably signed up just before the fleet had begun to move out of the Unknown Regions. He trembled a bit with either nervousness or excitement before replying. "Yes, Sovereign Admiral Aldrex'ile'nuruodo. It will be joining us within the next few minutes. Reports indicate that it left the edge of the Corellian System moments ago, and should be reverting to real space on our upper flank in just a few moments."

Xilen nodded his head, but only briefly as he looked at the devistatingly beautiful Laran Nuruodo. His relationship with her seemed to be purely professional, something that a great deal of the other officers talked about in there free time. Rumor had it that Laran and Xilen were lovers, and possibly more, but that's just what they were. Rumors. He offered her a faint grin, and pointed at the holographic map of the system displayed before them. "I want you to take your Special Forces to the planet's surface, Executor. Knock out all of there communications, and destroy any surface to air starfighters or missiles that may be present defending the planet. Nuruodo Phalanx, and I will join you after you have completed this mission, after which time I want you to seize the LFX Galactic Headquarters. Should Admiral Drayson, Chairman Seti Ashar, or the rumored Commander Isstal be present, arrest them. This galaxy has been lawless long enough."

He didn't wait for Laran to respond to him, as he knew she wouldn't question her orders. She would carry them out according to plan, as she had done for years., and the job would be done with brilliant accuracy. He had full confidence in all of her abilities. Xilen turned back to his protocal droid, TK-421, a serious look on his face. He could tell she wasn't happy about the unfolding situation, but before he could reassure her, the Dark Envy reverted to real space above the Interdictor-Class Cruiser Silent Night.

"The Dark Envy has arrived on schedule, Sovereign Admiral. Your shuttle is prepared, and the crew awaits your arrival on the bridge."

"Thank you...." Xilen said as he stood, offering Laran a reassuring nod before shaking her hand. "Good luck down there, Executor. You're going to need it." On that last note, he headed toward the docking bay of the Interdictor Cruiser.

Starfighters roared past the Lambda-Class Shuttle as it hovered under the docking bay of the Victory-Class Star Destroyer. It seemed like the system was dead, with no inhabited planets... no life whatsoever. Everything was going according to plan, and he merely hoped that it was. As the shuttle gained altitude, climbing into the massive docking bay, Aldrex'ile'nuruodo prepared himself for battle.

Moments later, he found himself in command of the temporary flagship of the entire Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, gazing out over the desolate, and recently isolated planet of Commenor, capital world of the Galactic Monopoly LFX Industrial, the remains of what once was the Terrorist Organization GDI. "Captain Vequil." Xilen started. "Yes Admiral? The Darkflame and it's crew await your command."

"Order all Starfighters into a defensive posture around our main capital flank. I don't want a single speck of space dust to get past this line unless I permit it, understood?"

"Understood Admiral."

Xilen grinned, the Dark Side of the Force ever present as the starfighters roared past the viewing port of the Victory-Class Star Destroyer. It would only be a matter of time now... only a matter of time before LFX Would have the biggest setback since the capture of Coruscant.

"Target the Drive Yards, Proton Torpedo's and Turbolasers armed at full power. On my signal, blow them out of the sky.... all of them, including the ones under construction in the distance."

Eighteen Cloaked TIE Defenders remained in communications silence in the shadow of the large moon of Folor, awaiting there ground assault confirmation, while twenty four more cloaked Defenders remained in a defensive posture around the capital line, accompanied by a squadron of TIE Advanced starfighters, each well prepare to do battle.

"Scanners reading the system around us, Admiral. We're searching for any possible cloaked ships or starfighters that we are unaware of, sir. If they are out there, we'll find them."

"Exellent... Open a Channel to the planet."

"Done sir."

Xilen sat up in his command chair, clamping his hands together as neatly as a dictator would. His blazing Crimson eyes stood out against his inky blue skin. "This is Sovereign Admiral Aldrex'ile'nuruodo of the Chiss Enclave, and the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet. This system is now under the complete control of the Chiss Parliment, and Martial Law has been implimented. Citizens are ordered to return to there homes and offices immediatly, or be arrested on sight. Resistance will result in a full planetary bombardment from our warfleet, so I truely hope I make myself clear." His eyes blazed in excitement once more before the communication was severed. It would only be a matter of time now... a matter of time before the infamous tyrant Seti Ashar and his terrorist regime were under Chiss control.

" Yes, Sir."

Her voice, the expression on her face, even the stance of her body, held no emotion as her scarlet eyes looked out at the main viewscreen on the bridge of the Silent Night. Laran stood with her hands clasped together behind her back, just behind and to the right of where Xilen sat, and her body and mind at attention.

She did not fully understand why the Sovereign Admiral has requested her precense, not that she was ungrateful. It was a rare opportunity to stand at the right hand of such a warrior and behold him in his element. Yet this was not a situation where her talents would come into play. A member of Special Ops she was trained to fight alone, silent, precise, and deadly. A battle of this magnitude she could understand its purpose, but she would always be far better suited alone.

Laran turned her gaze from the viewscreen and looked at Xilen from the corner of her eyes. His face was one of pure excitement. She could almost feel his adrenalin pumping through his veins.

She would watch, and she would learn. If things went as planned she would not be needed, but how often did things ever go exactly according to plan...

Captain Vequil looked across the bridge. The Chiss he had serving under him were all excently trained, and several were older then him, which showed how much tactical knowledge and battle smarts he had. At the young age of twenty five, being the captain of a Marauder Corvette, the second ship in the Chiss Defense Fleet and probably on your way to a bigger command, life was good. But, life was to turn sour soon. The leader of LFX Industrial, Seti Asher had ordered for his corporation to seize control of four other planets. Already controlling Commenor, an excellent trading planet, was enough for him. The had advanced into several systems, and Captain Vequil, along with the Sovereign Admiral, Xilen, both agreeded that this was unacceptable, and had chosen to take action against the corporation. Obviously soem of their allies felt the same, they were waiting here, near the Kuat system, for the rest of the fleet to come, to stage for the assault against Commenor. They had chosen to take the message directly to Seti Asher, withdraw from the citizens you are tying to seize, or face a military conquest. The message would be quite clear, and Captain Vequil hoped it worked. While he worked for the Chiss Expenditionary Defense Fleet, he was not found of war, after seeing many of his friends die in numerous battles. But, hopefully, this assault would stop this corporation from commiting to war again. If it was a corporation. He had some doubts that perhaps this corporation was just a front for some terrorist organisation, waiting to pop up. Perhaps he should suggest that in the confusion of the battle, a special ops personel go to the ground and check out all histories of LFX Industrial. Therefor, if Seti Asher was actually going to oppose the Chiss, and their allies, they could hurt the economically, by reveilling harmful information on the corporation, and militaristicly, by destroying their fleet.

"Lieutenant Sarlan, please open communications with Silent Night."

There was a pause, and then.

"Yes sir. Communications are open, and are ready for you to send your message."

"Sovereign Admiral, I was thinking, and developped an idea. Perhaps the reason behind LFX Industrial entering the other systems with the goal of controlling them was simply to provide more military resources to them. They may be a front company for some terrorist organisation. If we insert a special ops personel," nodding at the highly beautiful Laran Nuruodo, "we can dig up some background information on them, and hurt them economically as well. They would also have to greay another front company. In the confusion of the battle, the special ops personel can easily fly down to the planet in one of the TIE Advanced, and then we can make an extraction later. If the TIE Advanced were found, it could have a thermal detenator in it, waiting to explode. Then a shuttle can be sent, under the cover of some trader, and we can retrieve the operative."

"No answer from the planet, Sovereign Admiral Aldrex'ile'nuruodo." the chief communications officer enquired as he manned his station. Xilen sat up, rubbing his fingers over the coarse texture of his face. He hadn't shaven in a few days.

"Order the Spirit of Csilla into a bombardment position. Weapons locked on those Shipyards. He wants to ignore us... let him..."

The Defender Class Star Destroyer maneuvered forward, it's weapons prepared for battle as it sliced through the dark recesses of space, the Planet of Commenor merely a few hundred thousand miles below.

"Open fire." he snapped, leaning back against the smooth texture of his chair. The Turbolasers came forth from there sheltered cylinders, shades of green, red and blue coming fourth at the Shipyard.

Within moments, shards of metal began to break off of it as the other warships targeted smaller ones under construction.

"Helm, bring us about. Order our fighters to prepare for a ground assault on my mark."

As shards of metal continued to break away from the shipyards, a few managed to reach the planet's atmosphere, pulled by the forces of gravity to rain down upon the plains, and cities below.

"Replay the previous message, Captain. I'm not here for fun and games."

'Still no answer from the planet, Admiral." the reluctant tone of the communications officer stated bluntly. Xilen had become furious. How typical of LFX Industrial to pawn off an attack on there planet as nothing whatsoever.

"Fire another volley of Turbolaser blasts at those Shipyards. We'll see if they answer then..."

Another round of faint blue, green, and red lasers streaked across the pitch blackness of the sky, more and more metallic sheets spreading out across the skys above Commenor; more and more bursts of flames shooting out into the endless vacuum of space.

"Order General Nouran and his men to prepare for a ground assault."

Streaks became spots as the imposing white arrowhead dropped from hyperspace to reveal the homeworld of LFX Industrial. The Imperial Class Star Destroyer seemed to shine, light reflected from the sun of Commenor giving the massive ship a lustre that was truly a sight to behold. In the shadows of the ship two more ships could be seen, but were barely noticed. The two carracks advanced steadily, leaving the ISD in their wake, making a beeline for the LFX Shipyards. His mission was a moot one, the Chiss had no need for assistance in this endeavour, but merely required assistance so that they may retain some credit in the eyes of the galactic community.

Bored and disinterested, Lupercus simply ordered the advance of his ships and the launching of their support craft.

General Nouran was in his private office, studying battle plans that he had made. It was enormous, their fleet. It was the largest in the galaxy, and soon there would be ground forces that were undefeatable too. They were in the making; they just had to wait. General Nouran was so confident, he knew a war with his troops alone would be unstoppable.

"General Nouran, the Emperor has requested you ready your troops for war." The woman's voice said.

"Already?" Nouran replied.

"Yes, General."

"Good."

He then punched in a new number.

"Commander, the Ground Forces are now officially on alert. Tell them to prepare for war, it's coming. I want you down at your station right away. Lift off the first set of Sentinel landing Craft and my 6 Defenders after I board one of the shuttles."

"Yes, General Nouran." The man replied.

The General was pleased with his newest commander, he did exactly what was asked. He didn't ask questions. He walked out of his office and made his way through the halls of the Defender Class Star destroyer, Spirit of Csilla. He passed a few troops, then turned into the hangar.

He saw two shuttles and his six TIE Defenders. That's when he realized he would need more than six defenders to get the shuttles down safely. He walked up to his shuttles and sat next to the pilot in the front. He had only been assigned six defenders for the ground forces because more was coming. He needed more.

"I'm going to use this comm. if you don't mind."

"Go right ahead, General."

He typed in a private number on the keypad to the right of the Comm.

"Get me Captain Vequil, I require more fighters before we have been given the go ahead to send the troops down on Commenor."
