Naboo... why had he come here? The shuttle pilot had said she'd be here, and yet here he was, alone. The street was amazingly empty this night, he brushed his hand out against a tree as he wandered down.
"Maybe im just in the wrong part of town..."

Spacetrash.
Nerfherder.
Scum.
These were words Dakkon had become synonimus with as his life had spiralled out of control. Arai had long left, the scars barely healing before she caused another wound. And Kami, well there was never anything there anyway. She had loved him, and vice versa, but their lives had grown to be living entities. His one chance to settle down had refused to.
One thing had maintained him throughout his pain. The Order.
It had flourished, of sorts, new apprentices and old warriors coming together to relive teachings long thought lost. And at their head had been Dakkon. With nothing left but his Order, his apprentices, Dakkon had thrown himself face first into combat, seeking ever stronger enemies to challenge in a test of self worth.
Had any who knew Dakkon truly remained, they would have known he was simply seeking a stronger enemy that he may one day not come out alive.
As he had wondered the streets of Theed he smiled, sensing something different. He knew not what, but he knew it was powerful. Leaping to the rooftops for speed of travel he rapidly closed on the strange feeling.
Dakkon did not hide his approach, allowing the other to react accordingly. Nearing him, Dakkon could not see him, but did hear him speak.
"Maybe im just in the wrong part of town..."
Or perhaps not...

The moons illumination thrust shadows across the street before him as taped each tree with his fingertips along the way. He had been ditched, he knew it, that didnt mean he wasnt going to have some fun tonight.
A small curl crossed his lips as he grabbed hold of the tree beside him, hanging off it and spining around to face the opposite end of the street. He felt him. Strong in the force.
"Your no Knight friend"

A thin smirk crossed Dakkons face.
"Nor have i been for a long time. And thats about the same for you i'd think."
The suffix 'friend' was conspicuously absent from the embittered humans words. With a careless step, Dakkon lept down from the small roof, his focus intent on the Other. Landing in the shadows, he stepped forward until his face was rerevealed.
"Who are you?"
The mans power only added to Dakkons intrigue. The fact that this man had all the hallmarks of a shadow had got Dak interested, but the fact that they were both masters had piqued his interest.

"Who am I?"
He drifted from the tree limb and rolled to the next, his gentle touch never rustling the smaller saplings once, yet he obviously placed his weight on them.
"I am but a man, alone in the galaxy. It seems as though we share a common trait does it not?"
[i]If the darkness had not consumed his face in shadow the other may have seen the ominous grin lacing the lips of his face. Slowly moving in circles, slowly moving closer.

Something was wrong...
Dakkon moved slowly up the street and around the man.
Instinctively, they were circling...
"I am not alone."
The bitterness was barely contained in his words. Although the order was his base, it no longer seemed like his home.
"Although i'm sure we have one or two things in common."
As he walked, different parts of his body were revealed and hidden by the buildings shadows. There was something about this tree man...

"Oh? But arn't you really?"
Fluidity in motion, each step like a breeze in the wind as he moved out into the middle of the street. The light enveloped him for a mere moment, exposing himself fully to the stranger before reaching the other side of the street and its shadows.
"Who can say who really knows them, if they themselves remain unknown to themselves?"
Stoping at a pole he ran his hands down it and around it, peeking from around it slowly
"I think you know"

Dakkon instinctively moved away from the man, still circling, as he crossed the street. He was a big man, looking heavier than Dakkon, although in escence that meant nothing. In that moment, Dakkon was sizing up his opponent.
"I always have known."
He paused for a second, his head cocking to the side as sniffed the air. His eyes narrowed imperceptively.
"You smell like..
Misery."

Pressing himself harder against the pole momentarily he froze. Pressing his face out from the side he ran a finger down the pole, a slight resonance sounding from his finger as the pole slid open to his touch
"I assume you refer to the person rather than the emotion"
He sensed he was keeping his distance from the other man, yet he wasnt moving. He felt him there, a strong pull to him, yet he held firm. In his minds eye he saw only blackness, a clean slate, Misery was in the past, there was only now
"But then, Misery hasnt been all that far behind you, I can sense it..."

"Perhaps..."
He moved more slowly now, his moves deliberate and pronounced. Although the man could not see him, he knew that the lack of light had no bearing on his true sight.
"And you sense correctly. Misery is in the past. She has found a home."
It clicked, he knew the man. Although he knew nothing about him, it was at least something Dakkon held to his own advantage.
"You were her Master. You trained her in the arts of the shadow."
He knew there was something familiar about the man. Not familiar in a having met sense, but the feelings that Dakkon was getting he had received from Misery also. Hallmarks of a Master-Apprentice relationship.
