The Hapes Consortium has been busy taking over three planets and is already in control of two planets. The new recruit Hobu Zoranu has be assigned to start a takeover on the water planet Maires.

Nervous and unsure about this assignment Hobu is taking the takeover as his first step to be one with the crew being given a fully equipped fleet to make this takeover a very successful one.

Hobu was beginning to get his fleet together and leave from Olanji to Maires.Equipped well he was checking all the time that everything was fine that no faults would be made on the journey which would prevent the takeover from happening.

He was discussing with his crewmates about how unsure he was about doing this but the crewmates were making sure he stayed firmly focused and not disturbed so he couldn’t concentrate on the takeover. The final checks were going fine and that they were nearly ready to go.

He got out his comlink and ordered he was set to go:

'final checks done.......few flicks from the controls.....ready to go.'

He pushed the switch to start everything up and then stayed for a few minutes to make sure everything was working. He sent a final message through the comlink:

'ready and set to go, ill keep in touch to tell you that everything’s going according to plan.'

From that he was on his way with his fleet, slowly moving it out of the space station while setting the co-ordinates to Maires.He looked at all of the ships to make sure they were all in formation and then fiddled with the controls to get ready to go into hyper space.

He made sure all the ships were close together so no ships would get left behind and then for the final time spoke through his comlink:

'all ships prepare to jump into hyperspace.'

Hobu saw that it was all right to go into hyperspace and then pulled the leaver and the ships were off like a shooting star disappearing into space.

Hobu when to check everything was alright while in hyperspace to make sure the jump into hyperspace didn't break or damage any of the ship. He couldn't find anything wrong and just went back to the bridge to make sure everything was going well.

It was going like a dream, he was much more confident and knew what he was doing. His crew were working fine, the engines were running smoothly, nothing could be better all Hobu had to do was relax and wait less than thirty minutes till the fleet comes in touch with the planet.

Instead of relaxing through that thirty minutes he thought about studying the planet to see what may be on there and what the planet is like. He pressed a few buttons and searched for the planet and found it in the end.

The planet was a water planet, home of the water-breathing alien species known as the Mairans.Hobu searched more on these creatures to see if they were friendly or not and what they do to survive. Hobu found a biography on them and read it with only twenty minutes to go till coming out of hyperspace.

The bio explained that the Mairans couldn’t stay dry for long they have to keep spraying water on their back in order to keep their body moist so they don't die. Hobu found this interesting and looked in more to see if they were friendly creatures. Hobu found something that might disturb the takeover a little bit. The Mairans have a rival on the planet called the Vergill and the Vergill created this rivalry by building a sort of station by the Mairans new building site.

Hobu couldn't find anything else about the planet except it was a water planet like Kamino, not similar but like it. With only ten minutes to go Hobu finally sat down to relax for the next few minutes before coming out of hyperspace.

The long wait through hyperspace was over and the fleet was preparing to jump out of hyperspace. Hobu talked through his comlink:

'All ships prepare to jump out of hyperspace.'

The ships suddenly slowed down and they were just off course of where the planet was.Hobu didn't understand why he was off course but he plotted in the co-ordinates again to come in line with the planet.

The ships swiftly swooped round and came in line with the planet.Hobu looked closely at the planet to see if there was any resistance.Hobu wasn't sure and sent the squadron of Storms to go and check it out. The Storms flew off and were there in twenty seconds. The Storms were orbiting the planet but it didn't look like there was nothing there that was defending the planet.Hobu called the Storms back and carried on with heading to the planet to begin the invasion.

They were about thirty-five minutes away from the planet a good chance to check that everything was ready and set to go so no faults would happen while capturing the planet.Hobu came off the bridge and went to the computer screen to check if anything was out there in space that would intercept the fleet.

The computer was going through the area for about five minutes and still couldn't find nothing.Hobu turned it off and go out his comlink:

'All ships full throttle, were going in.'

The fleet made a thundering noise as the engines were firing up to its greatest mass and the speed was quick, the fleet would reach the planet in no time.

The sounds of the engines made it deafening so it was hard to concentrate on the objective.Hobu ordered the engines to be turned down a little bit so he could hear himself think. The fleet wasn’t that far away from the planet, they would be there within at least 10 minutes.

Hobu had checked everything and everything was going great, equipment was operational, everything was fully stocked all that needed to be sorted was the takeover of how we are going to take this planet because of the life forms down on the planet.

Hobu thought hard to think of what he should do but he was too puzzled to think with loads of things going on at once.
