Max was walking down the halls of the temple, hoping to find a nice relaxing spot around here. What he saw was a young man wondering around. Max's curiousity bested him he had to find out who this person was.

"Hello, I'm , Max, who are you?" asked a curious max smiling as always.

Kyp glanced at him unsure at first but decided it couldn't hurt anything. " Name's Kyp..Kyp Altair.." ,he said with a slight smile.

"Kyp..."Max said like it was a question,"Kyp," Max said pondering.

"Why are you here? Are you a padawan?" asked Max.

"Yea..how'd you know..i assume your a jedi?" Kyp said curiously.

"Yes, I actually am. I thought you were because you do have force potential. May I ask where you came from?" Max asked slyly wondering how this newcomer would answer.

"I was born on Naboo, I had a little training in the force but not much. My mother was a Sith Lord..and my father was a Jedi Master." Kyp said trailing off.

"Interesting. Not many Sith and Jedi talk to each other much to become friends at the most a couple. Oh well, why do you want to be a jedi?" Max asked the young man seeming to not want to speak of the previous topic much.

Kyp looked up at him eyes full of determination," I made a promise to my father, and i intend to keep it..jedi are loyal to their masters, therefore i will remain loyal to my father."

"My father was a Jedi master also. He was killed many years ago and I joined for the same reason as you." replied Max starting to soften for Kyp.

"I never knew my mother, she left me as soon as my father died. She left to another man." Max said amazed that he had said something that only two people know.

"I didnt know my mother, I'm the reason my mother died..i was there whenmy father was slain by a sith apprentice..I attacked out of rage and hatred..I came very close to joining the dark side.." Kyp said clenching his fist and burning inside remembering the moment.
