Coruscant
"All passengers, please be ready to display papers and identification upon docking."
Vincent sat with his back slouched for effect. His face was almost completely covered by a metal mask and what wasn't covered showed burned tissue suggesting he was in an accident. In his hand he held the papers he would need to land on the Imperial Capital for his vacation of sorts. If you called research a vacation.
"First class passengers please rise and step forward to present your ID."
Vincent lifted himself from his seat, and walked towards the front of the passenger liner. A few imperial customs personnel stood their checking the papers passed to them by the passengers. When it was Vincent's turn, he handed over his papers and watched the men study them.
"Ex-military, huh? What happened?"
"Rebel ambush. I got my face burned in an explosion."
"Damned rebel scum. Alright, you may pass. Welcome to Imperial Center."
The customs officer passed Vincent his papers back and Vincent walked out of the shuttle and to the ground below. Thier, his already searched bags waited for him in the hands of another imperial official. He grabbed the bag with a small thanks then headed off through the facility towards the exit. He needed to find accomodations.

Courscant
Nudging his identification card and papers into the awaiting officer's hand, he took the moment to take a glance of his surroundings as she did her job.

It seemed much like all the other docking bays he had visited, except much bigger. But then Coruscant was a big place so it was to be expected. It had probably gotten bigger since the last time he came.
"Here you go sir and welcome to Coruscant."
With a slight smile and nod in thanks, he took his papers, picked up his bag from another nearby officer and made his way out of the compound.
His first reaction as he stepped onto the sidewalk outside was to look up and look up he did. Everything seemed smaller than he had remembered, but then he had been a only a kid last time and a child's perspective seemed to always make things larger than they really were. And yet though the buildings seemed less tall, that didn't mean the city hadn't expanded.
Breaking his gaze from the towers that enveloped him, he turned to face the street. He would need to find accomodations for now. Exploring could be done later.

So this is what the Empire has done to Coruscant. It's not as bad as people have made it out to be.
Vincent walked through the streets towards the hotel he had a reservation at. The people seemed, on the outside at least, to be happy with themselves. But being who he was, he distinctly doubted that they were even remotely happy. The Empire did that to you. Made everything look good on the outside, sugar-coat everything, and in all actuality it was really bad.
The hotel wasn't very far from where his ship had landed and he quickly walked inside and up to the desk. The woman behind the counter asked his name and he gave it to her. When she requested payment he payed her. After being given his room key, he walked to the lift which took him up the floors to his room location.
He walked inside after unlocking the door and went up over to the bed. Setting his bags down on them, he made sure he had everything he needed. As he was looking through his bags, there was knock at the door and he instinctively turned around with his hand reaching for a weapon of some sort. A weapon he did not have.
"Who is it?"
"Archimedes."
"What do you want?"
"To blow your brains out."
That was the sign. He walked over and opened the door to allow the two men on the other side to walk in. Once they had done so, he closed the door back as the two began to look for bugs. The ones they found they destroyed. There weren't any others.
"Is everything ready?"
The two soldiers nodded.
"Yes, sir. We can begin when you are ready."
"Very good. We go tonight then."
"Yes, sir."
"Let's do this right."

Darkness enshrouded their half of the planet only hours after his arrival. Their timing had been extremely accurate as to the flight to Coruscant. Now all they had to do was complete their mission without getting caught in the act. Divulging exactly who he was to the enemy was not his idea of a very good idea. They would surely prey on who he was to the point where much information would be lost that otherwise needed to stay hidden.
"Gentlemen, let's go."
All three of them departed the hotel room exactly four hours after the night had started. On their backs were packs containing explosives, gund, and thermal detonators. They had come prepared to the mission they had set out to accomplish. No one from their government would have done any less had it come down to it. Especially when the mission involved being on Coruscant for any period of time. That itself was as dangerous as you could get. If they were caught they were doomed.
Stealing their way down an alleyway towards the target, each man kept a hand on his holstered weapon no matter what it was. If they ran into Stormtroopers they would kill them even if it alerted to the planet to the presence of insurgents in thsi sector. Their whole goal was to move in quickly and do their job. It didn't have to be quietly but they hoped it would be. If it wasn't, it didn't matter because they had a ship waiting for them already. They stepped up to the end of the alleyway across from the shield projector in their sector and stopped.
"This is it gentlemen. A small prick, but a prick nonetheless. Today we become a thorn in the Empires foot."
"Yes, sir."
