Day Zero
Eric Vin Hofferstien was a man of great use to Farfalen. He was a competant commander in all theaters imaginable, he was able to duke it out hand to hand and most of all he was young. A young, smart commander. He was the last generation of Chadd Fearsons elite soldiers. Most had been killed off for their extreme loyalty to the former Emperor, a few had seen the light.
Currently, he was enroute to his next mission. A priority one message had been sent from Lord Admiral Zen, who was still basking in the glory at Adumar, to send a flotilla to location Tango to enable operation: Deadbolt. He had under him only two Shoto cruisers, but they were more than enough. He also had with him a variety of pickets and gunships. An Epic class cruiser was set to arrive at Tango locale before he did. And it did.
The Epic had arrived in system approximetly three minutes before the rest of the fleet would. It had departed from Adumar earlier, to make the longer flight. But the time tables were set. As it dropped out into the undefended system, it flared up its new--and expensive jamming system, jamming everything. Moments later, Eric arrived.
"Send the Kessels to knock out the offworld holo-relayers, then send Second force to the farside, I want this system, hermetically sealed in fifteen minutes."
"Yes sir." Replied his first officer.
"Have subgroup two and three establish geosynch orbits, with one and four on retrograde."
"Aye."
"And where the hell are those damned wells?" Tholatin was officially closed.
