Ten months earlier, just after Odumin was declared the Planetary Leader of the Tynna Government, but before he called the leader of the infamous Nova Stars, his cousin, the infamous General Humin.
Odumin was looking at his datapad. He had just uncovered some very interesting information.
Kubindi
System: Ku'Bakai System
Position: Fifth Planet
Intelligent Species: Kubaz
Other species: Insects, including the Sun Beetle, which is the size of a bantha
Language: Kubaz
Interesting Information: Because of unexpected solar flares from Ku'Bakai, Kubindi has very strange weather patterns, and is hit by intense waves of radiation.
Political Information: Kubindi and the Kubaz were rarely affected by the Galactic Civil War, and were largely left alone. Eventually they chose to join the Mon Calamari Republic. Shipyards and a Construction Yard were built around Kubindi and a large database with all the ships that they would want to build was placed on Kubindi. After the problems with the New Empire, the Mon Calamari Republic was forced to leave Kubindi, and the Kubaz continued to build ships, but kept the ships to themselves.
Very, very interesting. Obviously our Kubaz friends will have a fair numer of ships. I'm sure that for the right price they will sell the ships to us.

Odumin shifted through some more information and then called his cousin Humin.
At the end of the conversation Odumin reminded Humin to show up.
"Remeber, three hours from now, you better be at Tynna."
"Don't worry cousin. I know about the resources that the government had stockpiled."
That was true at least. Over the years the government of Tynna had stockpiled natural resources, and a huge amount of credits. Odumin did not have the exact figures, but he had source that told him that there were billions of credits stockpiled there. Just after Winger Mining Corporation had been destroyed, and Myn Winger had vanished, the Tynnan government had made a deal with the miners on Nkllon. They had made Nkllon even more profotable, and had stockpiled large amounts of hfredium, kammris and dolovite. Thanks to the three Nomad Cities that Winger Mining Corporation ahd placed there, 30 000 000 credits had poured in, per month. Then, after one year in the alliance, the government placed another Nomad City on Nkllon, bringing the amount of credits coming in up to 40 000 000. Since they had held the alliance for over three years, the government of Tynna had managed to get 23 040 000 000 credits saved up, for a total of 23.04 trillion credits. That was a huge amount of credits. The allianced had vanished after three years, because the Head of the Miners on Nkllon decided that he could make a lot more credits by running the operation himself. The deal was broken, and the Tynna Government had lost that source of income, but thye had still stockpiled trillions of credits and tens of thousands of metric tons of hfredium, kammris and dolovite. Now Odumin just had to organise his plan...

Once Odumin returned from making his speech, and the Nova Stars had started to spread across the planet, he sat down and started to make his plan. He knew that the Kubaz had all the information that they need to produce Imperial Star Destroyers, MC-90 Star Cruiser, MC-80b Star Cruisers, MC-40s, Victory Star Destroyer, Aegis Star Cruisers and numerous other ships. When he arrived, he would quickly offer to buy a large fleet. His fleet would have to be large enough to destroy whatever other ships that the Kubaz had. He wouldn't know exactly what ships he would be buying until he got there. Since he wanted to have the shipyards that orbited Kubindi under his control as soon as possible, he had to leave right away. He quickly called an aide.
"I need the codes to our major accounts. I'm talking about the accounts that hold enough credits to buy us some starships."
"One second sir."
The aide quickly pulled up the information on his own datapad, then transmitted the information to Odumin.
"Do you want anything else sir?"
"Yes. Call Humin for me."
"Ye-Yes sir." stammered the aide, with a look of sheer terror in his eyes.
"Stop stammering."
"I'm sorry sir, it was just something stuck in my throat." explained the aide, though Odumin knew he was lying. The aide had stammered out of fright. He had heard of the stories about Humin, the stories that told of Humin killing people for no reason at all.
"I know why you stammered, and that you are lying. You are stammering because you are scared of Humin, weren't you?" accused Odumin
"No sir-"
"Silence." yelled Odumin. "Don't ly to me, I could see that you were pretrified by the look in your eye. Never try to ly to me, it will not work. Go now, and if you ever ly to me again, I will give you a reason to be sacred of me."
"Yes sir."
The aide scurried off, towards the communications centers.
Stupid, terrified idiot. Why must my aides be idiots? I need a proper military aide, and aide that isn't scared of anything. Unfortunately there is no one like that here that I can trust. The only fearless people on Tynna are the Nova Stars, and I do not trust them enough to make them my aide. They are not loyal enough to me, they are loyal to Humin. My own people are not even loyal to me, they are just scared of me. I have to force loyalty on them through fear and force.
Meanwhile the aide had called Humin.
"Humin, this is Odumin's aide. My master asks that you speak to him immediately."
"All right."
"Thank you sir. I will patch you in to his office."
The aide then notified Odumin that the communication was ready, and then patched it through.
"Humin, this is Odumin. I am ready to go to Kubindi. I need to have an escort though."
"I understand. Will three Marauder Corvettes and a Nebulon-B Frigate be enough?"
"That should do."
"Ok. The ships will be ready in one hour, at Docking Bay Fifty Two."
"Good. How is the conquest going?"
"So far we have covered about a quarter of the planet, but resistance seems to be letting down, and letting down by a lot. We are covering ground a lot faster now and should be in control of the planet in two hours."
"Excellent."
Odumin signed off. He quickly began to organise the things that he would need. Then he had an idea.
What if the resistance has began to let down, because the citizens have become organised, and are getting ready to mount a co-ordinated attack against us? If I'm gone with the ships, then someone might seize control of the government while I'm gone. I need to hide the information about where the stockpiles of goods are stored, and hide the information on how to access the accounts that the credits are held in.
"Shay. Get over here. Transfer the information about how to access all our credit accounts to my datapad. Do it on several disks if you must. Then transfer the data on where all the material goods are stockpiled to me. Once that is done, be sure to erase all previous files on that information."
"Yes sir. Might I ask why?"
"No you may not. That information is top secret, and you are not cleared for such information."
"I understand sir."
Shay quickly transfered all the information to Odumin's datapad, and several datadisks, then erased all the information from all other files. All other files that he knew about that was. Unknown to either Shay or Odumin, another set of datadisks held that information. The last Planetary Leader, fearful that a later Planetary Leade rmight become greedy, had made a copy, and then had given it to a Tynnan named Kirpor, to hide. Kirpor was an old Tynnan, and did not pay much attention to what was happening on his world. He just stay in an old abandouned mine shaft that had everything he need. He even had his own farm around the mine shaft. The datadisks were hid in that old abandouned mine shaft, forgotten about. They would stay that way for a while, until it became obvious to Kirpor that they were needed...

One hour later, Odumin was waiting at Docking Bay Fifty Two.
Where are those ships? I need to get to Kubindi so that I can get more ships. Why can’t anything ever run smoothly? I was just made the leader of a planet, and yet still everything is delayed. A, there are the ships, about time.
The Nebulon-B Frigate and three Marauder Corvettes descended into the docking bay. Odumin quickly walked on board. The captain of the Nebulon-B was waiting there for him.
“Captain, plot a course for Kubindi. I will be in my cabin. Is that acceptable?”
“Yes.”
“That is ‘Yes Sir’.”
“I understand…sir.”
Odumin left the captain and walked to his room.
Kubindi, just moments after the Tynnan Fleet came out of hyperspace. Odumin was at the bridge of Disease , the Nebulon-B Frigate. Ships were racing towards them.
“This is Captain Grunter, of the Kubindi Space Defense Fleet. What are your reasons for coming unannounced in this system, with machines of war?”
“I am Odumin, the Planetary Leader of Tynna. I wish to purchase some ships for me.”
Odumin was calculating the amount of enemies he was facing. There were 4 Imperial Star Destroyers, 6 Victory Star Destroyers and 5 Strike Cruisers currently built. Two Marauder Corvettes were just about completed building in the shipyard. He would buy all four of the Imperial Star Destroyers and 3 of the Victory Star Destroyers. Along with his ships that he had, he could destroy the remaining forces, and take Kubindi.
"I see. You must realize that this is unexpected. We Kubaz are able to survive on our own, and have not had much contact with the rest of the galaxy since the Mon Calamari Republic was last here. I will have to contact my superiors."
"I understand."
If I had a large enough fleet, I could distract them with the idea to buy ships and then go in and take them all out in the confusion. These people are pretty stupid.
Odumin sat down, waiting for the Kubaz to respond.
Things move pretty slowly around here.
Meanwhile Captain Grunter was busy calling his superiors.
"Admiral, this is Captain Grunter."
"This better be good, and explain why you aren't destroying those enemy ships."
"Sir, the ships are not attacking us, and do not pose a threat to us, in my opinion. They wish to buy some vessels from us."
"What? They wish to buy vessels from us? But how did they find out that we had an active shipyard? Why do they think that we would be willing to sell our vessels?"
"I do not know sir."
"Fine. Patch me into your conversation."
"Yes sir."
"Odumin, this is Admiral Serman. What is this that I here about you wishing to buy vessels from us?"
"Admiral Serman, we do wish to buy vessels from you. I can offer you payment in credits or hfredium, or dolovite or kammris, or a combination there of."
"How did you find out that we had an active shipyard? We have not had dealings with the outside galaxy in a long time."
"It was not that hard. I simply called up information on where a shipyard had once being. I ignored shipyards had were obviously in us by a galactic faction, such as Kuat and Mon Calamari. I found out that there had once been a shipyard around Kubindi, and I figured that you would probably have attempted to keep it operational."
"Why do you think we would sell you some vessels?"
"Because we are offering credits, which you can use to purchase the equipment needed for more vessels, and numerous valuable ores that are used in manufacturing the hull of a shipyard."
"I see. How many ships did you want to buy?"
"4 Imperial Star Destroyers and 3 Victory Star Destroyers. I will give you 100 Billion Credits and 100 000 Metric Tons of each of the ores listed, for immediate delivery. I just need you to fly the ships to Tynna for me, then I can bring your crew back here."
"One second while I consider."
Admiral Serman cut the link. He immediately called the President of Kubindi, and told him about the deal.
"Sir, the ships that have entered our system are from Tynna. The Tynnans are offering us 100 000 000 000 credits and 100 000 Metric tons of hfredium, kammris and dolovite for four Imperial Star Destroyers and 3 Victory Star Destroyers. Those credits and the ores could build us quite a few ships, more then the ships that we are selling. They want immediate delivery to Tynna."
"I see. Sell the ships to him."
"Yes sir."
Admiral Serman contacted Odumin again.
"Odumin, you have a deal. If you want, you can escort the ships to Tynna right now. Otherwise we will go there anyway, and you can go where you wish."
"Excellent. I will escort my ships back to Tynna."
The fleet prepared to jump to Tynna.
I will go to Tynna, get my own crew on the ships and bring in a large amoutn of ships. We will kill the Kubaz and take their ships.
The fleet vanished into hyperspace, the mind of Odumin firmly set on war and destruction.

The fleet reverted from hyperspace at Tynna.
"Humin, this is Odumin. I have brought back your new ships."
There was silence across the channel. Humin sat in his chair and stared.
You managed to get four Imperial Star Destroyers that have probably never seen battle, and three Victory Star Destroyers that have also probably never seen battle. That is very impressive. The Tynna government must have more credits then I thought they did, especially if they plan to keep the shipyards operational. Then again, they know that they will get all the credits back once they take Kubindi from the Kubaz.
"I would be happy to place crew on them. When do you need crews on them?"
"Right away. The current crews have to be sent back to Kubindi."
"Ok. I will dock my ships to them. We can get a decent crew on them and then get some of your military personel on my ships."
"Yes."
The ships quickly docked with the newly bought Imperial Star Destroyers and Victory Star Destroyers. Crew transfers began. The Kubaz crewers stay on their ships, as there was enough room for them to stay onboard. Nova Star crewers also came onboard, and Tynna Military Personel began to board the former Nova Stars ships.
The crew transfers took three hours, but at the end of the three hours, everything was ready. The ships left defending Tynna were at minimum strength, while the ships going to Kubindi were at medium strength, and the Kubaz crewers were spread on numerous ships, meaning that now 4 Imperial Star Destroyers, 3 Victory Star Destroyers, 2 Strike Cruisers and a Nebulon-B Frigate were returning to Kubindi, meaning that they would easily have enough fire power to destroy the Kubindi defences.
"Engage hyperdrives."
The order went out across the fleet, and they all flew quickly to Kubindi.
When they finally arrived at Kubindi, everyone was ready.
"Engage Operation Striker."
The Kubaz beside Odumin spoke up.
"What is Operation Striker?"
"I'll tell you this, it is us, killing you all, and enslaving your race."
Odumin aimed his blaster rifle and then sprayed fire into the Kubaz on the bridge. All over all fleet, in each of the vessel, troops were killing the Kubaz.
"All ships, accelerate. Attack Formation Gamma Omega Alpha."
"Yes sir."
The fleet advanced, in a wedge formation.
Suddenly the Kubaz Defense Fleet came around the planet. 3 Victory Star Destroyers and 5 Strike Cruisers accelerated.
"Tynnan fleet, stand down and send us our crewers immediately."
"No. You will be destroyed."
All the vessels targeted the appropriate enemy ships. Three Imperial Star Destroyers pounded on the VSDs with all their ion cannons. The other Imperial Star Destroyer started to disable a Strike Cruiser. Each of the Victory Star Destroyers move in on their own strike cruiser, firing ion missiles. The two Strike Cruisers and Nebulon-B frigate moved in and attacked the last Strike Cruiser.
"Kubindi Space Defense Force, you are outnumber and outgunned. Surrender immediately, or face the consequences."
The ships continued to pound away as Odumin sat, waiting for a response...

On the planet the government was going crazy.
“Where did they get the ships in the first place?” asked the Vice President.
“They bought them form us.” Answered the President.
“And how gave them permission?” asked a senator.
“I did.” Answered the President, regretfully.
“Why the hell would you sell them enough ships to be able to destroy us? That is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard of anyone doing.” Said the Vice President.
“The Admiral assured me we would be able to have more ships soon.” Said that President.
“Once this is done, he will be demoted. But in the meantime, we have more important things to do. We have to get help.” Said the Vice President of Kubindi.
“But from who?” asked the President of Kubindi.
“I don’t know, I wasn’t the one who sold our best ships to the people that are attacking us!” replied the Vice President.
“Be quite, I’m trying to think.” Said the President.
“Oh, that must takes lots of effort.” Replied the Vice President, sarcastically.
“Shut up you. No thanks to you, I have managed to decide how we will get help.”
“How do you propose we do it then? We have lived without influence from the outside galaxy for a long time, except for a little bit under the Mon Calamari Republic.”
“Exactly. The Mon Calamari Republic will help us.”
“The Mon Calamari Republic is dead.”
“Maybe the Mon Calamari Republic is not alive under that name, but now it is a member of the Galactic Coalition. I bet that they will send help.”
“This is a surprise, you actually thought of something that made sense.”
“Get me a holocom unit.”
“Yes sir.” replied an aide, who immediately rushed off to get one.
“Mr President, in the event that the enemy does gain control of our planet, even temporarily, we must take our information on our newly designed ships and the locations of the planets that they are hidden on and hid it.”
“Excellent point.”
The President summoned another aide to him.
“Copy all the information on Project Rapier, Project Defender, Project Defence and Project Hidden on to some data disks and then give them to the Vice President here. Then destroy all other copies of that information.”
“Yes sir.”
The aide rushed off to do as he was told.
“You, Mr. Vice President, will be in charge of hiding that information.”
“Sir, I know just the place.”
“Excellent. Now that we have decided on what to do, where is that aide that I sent to get a holocom unit?”
“Right here sir.”
The aide ran over.
“Excellent.”
The President typed in the proper com code to call the main office on Mon Calamari.
“Jan Dondana’s office here, this is his secretary, Mirax. How can I help you today?”
“This is the President of Kubindi. We need help. We are under assault from some Tynnans. If you save us we will join you.”
“I see. One moment while I talk to him.”
Mirax walked into Jan’s office.
“Sir, we have just received a distress call from Kubindi. It seems that some Tynnans have assaulted them, and they wish for our help. They will join us if we help them.”
“I see. Go tell them that we will send a fleet to them.”
“Yes sir.”
Jan plotted out what fleet to send, while Mirax talked to the President.
“Mr President, I have contact Mr. Dondana and he says that he will send help immediately.”
“Thank you so much.”
Mirax hung up and went back to talk to Jan.
“What fleet should I send there?”
“Send four Imperial Star Destroyers, three Haven Light Cruisers, 6 Defender Gunships and two Victory Star Destroyers.”
“Yes sir.”
Mirax quickly sent out a command for the ships to leave to go to Kubindi as soon as possible…

Back at Kubindi, up in space, the Kubindi Space Defense Fleet hadn’t been idle while they were being attacked. The three Victory Star Destroyers all launched a salvo of missiles at an Imperial Star Destroyer. It’s shields immediately fell, and some missiles hit the bridge. Turbolasers blasts pounded down at the bridge. The Strike Cruisers all fired on a Victory Star Destroyer. The first volley brought down it's shields. The Nova Star ships did not sit around idly though. They all continued to blast at their target. Ion Cannon blasts shorted out some circuits, and weapons, which made the Kubaz ships less effective. The Victory Star Destroyers managed to destroy the bridge of the Tynnan Imperial Star destroyer that had been their target. Suddenly one of the Kubaz Strike Cruisers was completely disabled by an ISD. That ISD moved in on one of the Kubaz Victory Star destroyers. The Kubaz Strike Cruisers fought back and destroyed the Victory Star Destroyer that they were firing at. They then moved on and concentrated on another Imperial Star Destroyer. The Kubaz Victory Star Destroyers pummeled the original target star destroyers with turbolaser blasts. Suddenly the whole command tower fell over. The turbolaser blasts concentrated on that area, blasting throuhg interior bulkheads, bulkheads that were not meant to withstand turbolaser blasts. They fired a salvo of missiles at the Imperial Star Destroyer that the Strike Cruisers had been firing at. The shields fell, and the command towers suffered severe damage. Suddenly the two Marauder Corvettes that had been under construction blasted out of the shipyards. They targeted the engines of the second shieldless ISD. They each only had half as many turbolasers as they should have. That puzzled the Tynnan commander, Humin. Suddenly, once they were close, he saw their true intent. They were very cleverly disguised robot ramships, but unlike other ramships, these ones had weapons. They immediatly hit their boosters and the first plowed into the engines of the Imperial Star Destroyer, destroying them. The second plowed intot he base of the command tower, destroying it, and destroying most of the bulkheads below it, leaving the reactor bare. All the turbolaser blasts from the Strike Cruisers were concentrated on the reactor. It blew under the volley, taking the star destroyer with it. The Tynnan response was swift. The Victory Star Destroyers launched their ion missiles, destroying all but one of the Strike Cruisers. The Imperial Star Destroyers disabled all but one of the Victory Star Destroyers. That one Victory Star Destroyer and the one Strike Cruisers destroyed the reactor on the initial star destroyer targeted. Suddenly escape pods were launched from the bays of the disabled strike cruisers and Victory Star destroyers. The tractor beams on the two remaining Kubaz ships accelerated the escape pods, slamming them into the shields on an ISD. They immediatly exploded, destroying the shields. More escape pods crashed on to the hull, and ripped through it, in large explosions. The Victory Star Destroyer, and Strike Cruiser, just before being disabled and destroyed, destroy the reactor on the damaged Imperial Star destroyer. Then the Victory Star Destroyer was disabled and the Strike Cruiser was destroyed. Immediatly the Tynnan Strike Cruisers and and Nebulon-B frigate returned to Tynna. The other Tynnan ships moved in to secure the three disabled Victory Star Destroyer, and one disabled Strike Cruiser.
The fighting was fierce, and numerous tynnans and kubaz died in those battles, but in the end the kubaz were all killed. Then, with crews on all the ships, the Tynnans moved onto the shipyards.
"Attention Kubaz Shipyards. Your meager space defense fleet has been destroyed or captured. Surrender immediately. We are sending troops to you know. Resist and you will be killed. Surrender, and we will spare you."
"Meager space defense fleet? We caused enough damage to you. How many Imperial and Victory Star Destroyers did our outnumbered and out gunned ships destroy? We will never surrender."
"You may have destroyed our ships, but they will be rebuilt. Also, I can't believe that is the views of all your workers. So, we will land troops. Resist us, or do anything other then what we tell you to and you will be killed. We mgiht not kill you right away, but you will be killed soon. Right now I want you all to start building on three Imperial Star Destroyers and a Victory Star Destroyer, to replace the ones destroyed."
Humin sent a coded message out to his troops.
"All troops listen to my orders. Stun all who resist you. Leave them where they are. Clean up crews will follow you in. Do you understand?"
"Yes sir."
"Good."
Troops were immediatly landed on the shipyards. The guards of the shipyards put up a good fight, but soon they were all lying on the floor, stunned.
"Shipyard one captured."
"Shipyard two captured."
"Excellent. Keep the workers in line. Clean up crews, move in."
The clean up crewers were just troops were had not been sent in before. They moved in, removed the stunned personel to the docking bays. They were immediatly pilled there.
"Shipyard One Clean Up Crew reporting sir. All the stunned Kubaz are piled up in the docking bay. Sir, not all of the workers are Kubaz. we have a bunch of humans and Mon Calamari, evidentaly left over from when the Mon Calamari Republic controlled this area of space."
"Ok. Strip all the stunned workers of weapons and all but undergarments, since bacta tansk work better with just undergarments on. Put uniforms in one pile, and weapons in another. Then place the stunned captives on the transports. Put them in the bacta tanks."
"Yes sir."
"This is Shipyard Two Clean Up Crew reporting. We heard your conversation with Shipoyard One Clean Up Crew and copy. We will do likewise."
"Good."
The captives were immediatly all placed in bacta tanks onboard the shuttle.
Humin called Odumin.
"Cousin, everything is going as planned. You can now call the President and demand his surrender."
"Good."
Odumin called the President...
Meanwhile, on the planet, the information on Project Rapier, Project Defender, Project Defense and Project Hidden were placed on four datacards. They were given to the Vie President. He immdiatly went to his office and called five aides to him.
"All right, here is the plan. I will go hide in a cave, with your three to help me survive." he said, pointing to three of the aides.
"Yes sir."
"We understand sir."
"I understand sir."
You have to become me. You are now the Vice President." said the real Vice President, pointing at the fourth aide.
"Ok sir. I'll do my best."
"Good. You stay here and help keep up the illusion that he is me." he said, pointing to the last aide.
"Yes sir."
"Good."
The Vice President and his three aides assigned to help him quickly left the office and went off to hide the datacards.
At the President's office, the fourth and fifth aides arrived.
"Sir, I am now the Vice President, since the real one left me in charge while he left to go hide in some cave with some datacards and three aides."
"Excellent."
"Sirs, we have just received a message from Odumin."
"Put it on the main screen."
"Hello, Mr. President. Ready to surrender yet?"
"What hapens if we surrender."
"If you give us your unconditional surrender, you won't be killed or enslaved. We will control this area of space, and will control the planets. You will answer to us. The government, which is me, know owns all the businesses. All wages will stay the same, or may even show an increase. If you don't surrender, we will kill all who resist, and enslave your race. Think wisely, but quickly. Also, if you don't surrender within five hours, we will kill all the captives that we took in the shipyards. If you do surrender, we will just cut their pay in half for one standard year, to teach them not to."
The aide quickly muted the transmittion.
"What should we do?"
"Lets look at the pros and cons."
"Ok."
"If we surrender, we lose a bit freedom, but we can expect a Galactic Coalition fleet here to help us out. Also, the captives will live, they will just have a little less pay for a while."
"And if we don't surrender, we will all be enslaved or killed, and the captives will be killed unless we surrender within 5 hours."
"We must hold out. Wait for as long as possible before surrendering. That way we might not even have to surrender."
"Excellent point."
The transmittion was unmuted.
"Onumin, we will think about what you have to say."
"Think quickly."
Suddenly all the Nova Force's ships blasted into realspace at Kubindi. Humin quickly got on the com.
"What are you doing here, I though you were supposed be protecting Tynna?"
"Tynna has been lost. A Galactic Coalition fleet jumped in and took down three of my Nebulon-B Frigates. We managed to severally damage their flagship, a Victory Star Destroyer, and destroy one of the Corellian Gunships. If they come here they will be destroyed, easily." said the captain of the newlky arrived ships.
"What about Tynna?"
"The Tynnans have rebelled. Two Battle Horn Transports full of weapons, including grenade mortars on repulsor sleds, and e-web heavy repeating blasters on repulsor sleds. The majority of the military was on their side, as well as more then the majority of the citizens. It seems that Gred is their leader. Gred realized that the rebellions had to stop at the start, and then unite once they had some real weapons. He most have been the one to unite them, since he is the leader."
"Ok. We must get all our ships ready for battle."
Humin finished upt he conversation by asking some questions about the enemy's strength, then signed off and went to talk to Onumin.
"Cousin, Tynna has been lost. They rebelled, with weapons that came in on two Battle Horn Transports. Gred is their leader. They had a Galactic Coalition fleet for support. The fleet managed to destroy a corellian gunship and severally damage a Victory Star Destroyer before fleeing here. The Victory Star Destroyer has no bridge, just the auxilary bridge, and they only have fifty percent shields, due to the destruction of one of the shield generators. Unfortunately we lost three Nebulon-B Frigates. We can expect them to follow us here."
"I see. We must get ready for them.”
“That will be simple, we out number them and outgun them.”
“Good.”
The fleet got ready for the enemy fleet that would come, and be trapped...

Meanwhile, back at Tynna, the fleet had gone into hyperspace. They would arrive in exactly two hours.
At Mon Calamari, the fleet had just left, and would arrive in two hours and ten minutes.
Two hours later, at Kubindi.
“Sir, we have arrived at Kubindi.”
“Excellent. Power up shields and weapons. Send a message to the Kubaz telling them that we aren’t here to attack them, we are here to defend them from the Tynnans. Launch all fighters.”
“Yes sir.”
“Sensors, what do you have on screens?”
“It isn’t good sir. I have one Imperial Star Destroyer, five Victory Star Destroyers, three Strike Cruisers, one Nebulon-B Frigate, 7 Marauder Corvettes and 4 Gallofree Transports. We also have two Battle Horns. Fighters are launching, all Uglies. 72 Clutches, 96 X-Ties, 144 TIE Wings and 48 B-wing Uglies that seem to have a turbolaser at the bottom of their wing.”
“Damn. Send a message to Mon Calamari.”
“Yes sir.”
“Sir, we have 7 Marauder Corvettes, 3 Strike Cruisers, 1 Nebulon-B Frigate and all the fighters moving in to assault us.”
“Sir, I just got word from Mon Calamari, we have 4 Imperial Star Destroyers, 2 Victory Star Destroyer, 3 Haven Light Cruisers, 6 Defender Gunships, 264 MC-10 Starfighters and 144 K-wing Bombers incoming to help us, due in about five minutes.”
“Excellent. Engines, is their any way we can out run the enemy?”
“No sir.”
“When will we be in range?”
“Fighters in thirty seconds.”
“What happens if we pull back as quickly as possible?”
“Two minutes and twenty seconds for the Marauders to reach us two minute and fifty five seconds for the Nebulon-B Frigate, and three minutes and seventeen seconds for the Strike Cruisers, assuming all those ships travel at their flank speed.”
“Fine. All missiles, do not fire. Turbolasers, lay down a kill zone in front of their fighters now. Once the Marauder Corvettes come into firing range, each Corellian Gunships, team up together in packs of three and take on a Marauder Corvette per pack. Do not fire missiles. All turbolasers on Tears of the Gods , fire on the other four Marauder Corvettes. Corellian Gunships, when the Nebulon-B Frigate gets in range, hit it with a salvo of missiles. All missiles on Tears of the Gods , split into two groups and hit two of the Strike Cruisers with a salvo. Fighters, just try to stay alive.”
“Fighter’s in range.”
“Start the kill zone. Fighters, randomly fire as well.”
“Yes sir.”
The fighters, in as perfect formation as most mercenaries could get, flew straight into the salvos of turbolaser and laser cannon fire. A direct hit from a turbolaser or quad laser cannon would destroy a Clutch, a X-TIE, or a B-wing Ugly. A brush from one, or a direct hit from a normal laser cannon would destroy or damage a TIE-wing. Unfortunately for them, the Clutches and X-TIE Uglies, both armed with missiles and proton torpedoes, all fire missiles and proton torpedoes once they were within range. Laser cannon and turbolaser fire instantly exploded them, which then destroyed the fighters that had fired them, and the fighters around them.
“Continue firing.”
The enemy fighters scattered, and tried to fly out of the kill zone. Unfortunately for them, Uglies aren’t maneuverable, so they took a long time to turn. More and more of them were destroyed.
“Sir, we managed to destroy all the Clutches, all the X-TIEs, 9 of the B-wing Uglies and 24 of the TIE-wings before they retreated out of the kill zone.”
“Excellent, cease fire.”
“Yes sir.”
“What are they doing now?”
“They are forming up with the Marauder Corvettes.”
“Excellent. They evidentially wish to over power us with numbers, though I do not understand why they are coming in at us in such a fashion.”
“Sir, the Battle Horn Transports, Gallofree Transports, Victory Star Destroyers and Imperial Star Destroyer have jumped to hyperspace.”
“Watch out for them. Full stop, and accelerate. Where are they headed?”
“Looks like back to Tynna.”
“Why would they do that?”
“If they think their current force can defeat us, so they are going to go back and secure Tynna.”
“I see.”
“Sir, Marauder Corvettes are in range. We have begun firing.”
“Excellent. Fighters, do not engage the enemy. I repeat, do not engage the enemy. Retreat to the edge of the gravity well. Plot a course that will take you straight to the back of the Strike Cruiser formation.”
“Sir?”
“Do it. Once you arrive, hit one of the Strike Cruisers with a volley of two missiles each. Then retreat away and standby for orders.”
“Yes sir.”
The fighters immediately fled, flying at a speed that no Ugly could match. In fact, few real starfighters could match the speed of an MC-10, which was slightly better than that of a TIE Defender.
“Sir, the B-wings have commenced an assault on us. TIE Wings have started to circle the engagement.”
“I see. When will they be closest to the Strike Cruisers, in relation to when the MC-10s get there?”
“They will be at their closest just after the MC-10s get out of hyperspace.”
“I see. Warn the fighters that they should expect to encounter TIE-Wing resistance once they are finished their missile runs.”
“Yes sir.”
“Damage status?”
“Our shields have dropped 40%. Our Corellian Gunships are perfect. Two of the Marauder’s facing Gunships have been destroyed. Those two groups have split into 3 groups and are finishing off three of our opponents. Their target’s are at 5% shields and 7% shields. The other Gunship Group’s target has no shields. Our guns are concentrating on our remaining target, a Marauder with no shields.”
“Excellent. When does the Nebulon-B Frigate get in range?”
“Twenty seconds.”
“Good.”
“Sir, the fighters have come out of hyperspace. They are moving in on the last Strike Cruiser. The lead is transmitting targeting data to the rest.”
“Excellent.”
“Sir, all but one of the Marauder’s have been destroyed. We are dealing with it, and the gunships have broken off their attack. They are moving in on the Nebulon-B frigate.”
“Good.”
“We have 48 launches of torpedoes from the MC-10s. 24 of them were delayed.”
“Excellent. The first salvo will take down the shields, the second will destroy the ship.”
“Corellian Gunships have launched missiles. We have 36 launches.”
“Good.”
“The last of the Marauder Corvettes has been destroyed.”
“Excellent.”
“The shields on the Strike Cruiser are down. The engines are destroyed. We are reading no power to shields or weapons, or anything except for emergency uses. They are venting atmosphere.”
“Good. We must have destroyed the engines and the reactor, but the emergency reactor is still working-.”
Suddenly the ship rocked.
“What the hell was that? Damages?”
“The other Tynnan ships just came out of hyperspace on our rear. They just fired a salvo at us. We have 20% aft shields remaining. They are just barely in range.”
“Sithspawn! All right, full speed ahead. Transfer energy from backup sources, such as gravity and life support in non-important areas, and lower the artificial gravity levels on the rest of the areas. Transfer power from half of the ventral weapons to engines. Get use to those Strike Cruisers now. All guns that remain, fire at those B-wing Uglies and the Nebulon-B Frigate. Sensors, damage reports on the Nebulon-B.”
“Yes sir. The Nebulon-B has no shields. All turbolasers are targeting the ‘spine’, and we expect to have neutralized it soon.”
Tears of the Gods accelerated away from the new enemies. The enemies responded by accelerating as well, but without the advantages used by Tears of the Gods they had no change at catching them, unless the Gallofree Transports and Battle Horns wanted to engage them by themselves, which it seemed they didn’t.
“Sir, we are almost within range of the Strike Cruisers. The Nebulon-B Frigate has been destroyed.”
“All missile launchers, prepare to fire at the Strike Cruisers. What happened to our MC-10 Starfighters?”
“They have fled, though not at full speed, and are leading the TIE-wings away from the engagement zone.”
“Good. How long until firing range of the Strike Cruisers?”
“Twenty seconds.”
“Tell the Gunships to destroy the B-wing Uglies, but no one is to slow down. Keep at present speed. If we go past the Strike Cruisers, that doesn’t matter, we must not let their reinforcement group catch us.”
“Yes sir.”
The fleet continued forward. Corellian Gunships fired at the B-wing Uglies, and hit some, but they weren’t being very effective.
“All Corellian Gunships, load up your launchers with the diamond boron missiles.”
“Yes sir.”
Diamond Boron Missiles were quickly inserted in the firing tubes.
“We are within range of the Strike Cruisers.”
“Fire all missiles.”
40 missiles flew at each of the Strike Cruisers. They hit, and immediately brought down the shields. Some of them got through the shields and exploded on the hull.
“All turbolasers, fire. Corellian Gunships, fire diamond Boron Missiles, then target the Strike Cruisers.”
“Yes sir.”
More and more turbolaser fire flew straight at the enemy Strike Cruisers.
“Most of the B-wings are destroyed.”
“Good. When are the reinforcement’s supposed to arrive?”
“Fifteen seconds.”
“Good.”
“Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one.”
The fleet sent from Mon Calamari flashed out of hyperspace.
“Open a channel.”
“Newly arrived Galactic Coalition fleet, this is Vice Admiral Smith, in charge of the Victory Star Destroyer Tears of the Gods and nine Corellian Gunships.”
“This is Admiral Van, wasn’t Admiral Arden in charge of that fleet?”
“Yes sir, he was, but he was injured at Tynna. That is where we followed these mercenaries from.”
“I see. If you just continue what your doing, I can handle the rest.”
“Thank you sir.”
“240 MC-10 Starfighters, assault those TIE-Wings. K-wings, go and bomb that shipyard with your ion bombs. 48 MC-10 Starfighters, get those B-wing Uglies. I want Justice and Freedom , referring to the two Victory Star Destroyers, to attack that Imperial Star Destroyer. All Imperial Star Destroyers, get four of those Victory Star Destroyers. I want the two Haven Light Cruisers to team up on the other Victory Star Destroyer. Another Haven gets a Battle Horn. Two Defender Gunships get the other Battle Horn and the other Defender Gunships get the Gallofree Transports.”
“Yes sir.”
The MC- 10 starfighters strafed the Imperial Star Destroyer with laser cannons and ion cannons as they flew over top, and then engaged the enemy fighters. The K-wings broke straight at the shipyards. Defender Gunships strafed the Victory Star Destroyers and assaulted the transports. A Haven Light Cruiser went to help them. The rest of the ships carried out their orders with gusto.
“All Corellian Gunships, advanced and target that shipyard.”
The Corellian Gunships moved forwards to assault the shipyards.
“Tynnan forces, surrender now.”
“Send a message down to the planet telling the Kubaz that we are here liberating them.”
“Yes sir, message sent.”
“Still silence from the Tynnans?”
“Yes sir. Wait, we are getting a message.”
“Put it on the main screen and continue firing. Get all ships firing on the transports to start firing on other ships.”
“Galactic Coalition forces, this is Humin. I have a deal. We leave, you don’t hurt us any more.”
“How about you surrender, and we leave you with your transports.”
“How are we supposed to survive as mercenaries with transports?”
“How about you quit your mercenary ways and become traders or something?”
“What? Quit being a mercenary?”
“Either that or we destroy you right now.”
“Sir, the Strike Cruisers have been destroyed. We also have the ISD with no shields, and the enemy fighters have been wiped out.”
“Humin, you have no fighters, your ISD is shield less, your Victory Star Destroyers have almost no shields, we out number you in this small engagement, and we are getting reinforcements. Surrender.”
“Sir, their Victory Star Destroyers have no shields. The ISD’s engines are basically destroyed.”
“Humin, surrender, or watch your fleet be destroyed.”
“Sir, we are reading escape pods preparing to launch.”
“I see. Continue firing, but don’t hit any escape pods.”
“This is Humin, I will never surrender.”
Escape pods blasted from the ISD, and were picked up by the transports. Then the transports turned to run. Suddenly the ISD exploded, and then the Victory Star Destroyers, so close that they were, exploded as well.
“Sir?”
“Let them run. Head to the planet.”
“What?”
“Let them run, they are no longer a danger here.”
The fleet stopped firing, and started to collect other escape pods. Then they took over the shipyard.
One week later, the President of Kubindi signed a treaty, bringing Kubindi into the Galactic Coalition, and bringing the Kubaz back into galactic politics…

Meanwhile, back on Tynna, the rebels have finally defeated the Nova Stars. They had used their repulsor sleds with grenade mortas and E-web heavy repeating blasters to destroy the enemy tanks, and had used their normal troops to fight the enemy troops one on one. Once the enemy fleet had retreated from the space above Tynna, and the tanks had been destroyed, the troops started to surrender. Soon the rebels had taken lots of prisoners. Unfortunately, groups of rebels that supported the New Order did not take prisoners, they killed the surrendering mercenaries. Gred realized that the government could get degraded due to that, but he knew why the rebels were doing it, and they were the minority.
Once the mercenaries were destroyed, the rebels did nothing. They were confused, and didn't know what to do.
We have to stop this confusion.
Gred ran and grabbed a com unit. He quickly made a broadcast to the whole planet.
"Citizens of Tynna, this is Gred speaking. I organised this rebellion, with help from others. Today is the start of a new time for our people. We have all seen the problems with the old ways of picking a leader, madmen like Odumin can legally become the leaders of our planet. We need a new system. I propose that we use democracy. From now on, Tynnans will vote on who will be the leader of our government. We will form parties. I am officially forming the Tynnan Freedom Party, or TFP. I suggest that anyone who wants to form a party, or join and party that has already been formed, come to my office. I will have dozens of secretaries working on our new government. Not everyone has to join a party. In one month, we will have a planet wide vote. Who ever has the most votes will win the election and become the new leader of the planet. Leaders of parties will be decided by people inside that party voting on their leader. I will have more details on our new system soon."
Gred quickly went to work forming the new system...

Gred had numerous secretaries working with him, devising the new plan for the Tynnan Government.
We need to divide the planet up into sections. Something like 4 countries, each controlling a fourth of the planet. In these countries, there would be states. Each country would have ten states. A Prime Minister, and a representative from every state, the Planetary Senate, would rule the Tynnan Government. The Prime Minister would be the leader of whichever group had the most seats in the Planetary Senate. Each city, town or district would have a their own representative in their State Senate and their Country Senate. Each city, town or district would have their own municipal government. The Municipal Government would be lead by a mayor, and some councillors. The amount of councillors varied on the size of the population, the size of the area, and the population density. The Municipal Government would make laws affecting that area. The State Government would make laws affecting their state, and the Country Government would make laws concerning their country. The Planetary Government would make laws concerning the planet. The Planetary Government had the most power, then the Country Government, then the State Government, then finally the Municipal Government. Every person over 18 could vote. Every person that was eligible to vote got to vote for the Municipal Government, their State Government, their Country Government and the Planetary Government. Taxes were paid to each government, though the amount of tax had to be reasonable. The Planetary Government controlled education, healthcare, housing and provided help to the poor. The Planetary Government controlled the military budget. The Municipal governments controlled the budget and maintenance for the landing pads for air speeders and land speeders. The State Government controlled the police enforcements, and the Country Government controlled the spaceports. Country Governments controlled Natural Resources, though in most cases, the natural resources were given to the State Governments from whatever area they were found in. The Planetary Government controlled Justice. Municipal elections would be held in four months, then two months later, there would be state elections. Two months after that there would be country elections and two months after that there would be Planetary elections.
As Gred thought up the ideas, he typed them into his datapad. Once he had organised them so that everyone would easily understand them. Gred quickly called over a secretary.
“Send these new guidelines across the planet, then get someone to record a version of these on audio and broadcast that recording across the planet.”
“Yes sir.”
That aide rushed off to do his bidding, and he called over another aide.
“Get a security officer watching every secretary that is handling the process. Then get another security officer watching them. I want New Order supporters to watch Galactic Coalition supporters, Galactic Coalition supporters to watch Neutral supporters and Neutral supporters to watch New Order supporters. Anything goes wrong and it gets reported to me immediately.”
“Right away sir.”
Gred sat back, and started planning his speech to the public, outlining his goals, and his political views. Many people knew that he supported the Galactic Coalition, but he wanted everyone to know that.
Free healthcare and education was provided to everyone. Education was provided until after a person had graduate high school. Once they graduate high school, if they had good enough marks, they could advance to a university, for free. If you did not have high enough marks for university, you could go to college, all expenses paid. If you didn’t have high enough marks for college, the government would help you find a job. Free food was provided to everyone. Free housing was provided to everyone. To get anything other then necessities you need to have a job and earn enough credits to buy them. We will begin exporting our natural resources to the galaxy, increasing our fortunes. We will then invest in, or form new, mining corporations. These mining corporations would spread across the galaxy. I personally support the Galactic Coalition, though I would be willing to work with any government, even a government that had the same goals as our last. Anyone can join TFP, even if you do not have all of the same views as me, but your views are similar. Leadership elections will be held at a later date.
Gred called another aide over.
“Get me a com connection with the entire world.”
“Yes sir.”
When the aide had returned, Gred quickly turned on the unit, and started to broadcast to the world.
“Citizens of Tynna, the first issue I would like to tell you about is not actually an issue at all. I am here to present the views that I feel are needed for our planet, and that will be the core of the Tynnan Freedom Party. I feel that everyone should have free access to healthcare and education. We need to educate our youth, and we need to stay healthy! Those are two of the most important things in the world. Also, everyone will receive free food, though this would mainly just be the basics. To get anything more then the basics, you need a job. Everyone will get free housing, though again this is the basics. We will provide a house large enough for whatever your current family is, and a bit larger, in case you have more children, or guests. For education, it is free until your graduate from high school. At this point, if you have high enough marks, and your are eligible for university, you will be able to go there, free of charge. If you don’t have high enough marks, you may be eligible for college, and you can go there, free of charge. If you are not eligible for college or university, the government will help you look for a job that you are eligible for. This goes to Tynnans, or any other species that is living on Tynna at any one time. If our governmental control spreads to other planets, then the same things will be provided there. As far as military budgets are concerned, every city, town or district will be issued its own police force, based on population. Militias will also be formed in most cities, towns and districts. There will definitely be one militia in each state. I feel that we should expend our space navy capabilities, since currently all we have are ground units, and those are mainly just useful against lightly armed vehicles and infantry. I do think that the military budget should come after other issues. The military will use what is left over.
The second issue, and it is actually an issue, is political views. While I am a strong supporter of the Galactic Coalition, I do understand that others do not share my political views. That should not make you hesitate from joining my party. While I realize that political views will probably be a major part of the upcoming elections, I don’t think they should be. I feel that political views about alliance to other governments are secondary to issues like education, healthcare, food and housing. In the Tynnan Freedom Party, political views come second. Also, everyone that wishes to join the TFP should do so before then end of the next three months, as that is when the Tynnan Freedom Party leader elections will be held.”
Gred finished his broadcast. Suddenly a Neutral Supporter Security Guard, Sarven, came up to him.
“Sir, I have something to show you.”
Sarven played a security tape, showing a TNO Supporter Secretary taking care of Party applications. The secretary’s name was Iverm. The tape should a Galactic Coalition Supporter putting down information, and joining the Tynnan Freedom Party. Iverm took the information, but didn’t enter it in her computer. Instead she waited a while, and then put the information in the garbage. Meanwhile she started inserting fake information under the TNO Supporting party, Tynnan New Order Supporters, TNOS in short form.
"I want a security detail down there instantly."
"Yes sir."
"Find someone to replace Iverm. In the meantime get the security detail to watch her actions. Make sure that information that is in the garbage is put on the computer. Then try to destroy any of the fake information. Call everyone that she included in her list"
"Yes sir."
Gred stayed watching the security moniter. He could see five security guards racing forward, towards Iverm.
They came behind her.
"Iverm, we know what you have done. Add the information that you threw in the garbage to your computer. Then show us proof that all your other information that you added is actually real. Give us the hardcopies."
"What are you talking about?"
"You have failed and have thrown away any trust Gred had in you. You added false information to the computers concerning who wanted to join what faction."
"I did nothing of the sort."
"Can the crap, we know all about it. We have security moniters looking at each secretary in this room, with security officials constantly watching you. Nothing gets past us."
The officier pulled out his blaster.
"Do it or we stun you and then do it ourselves."
"Never."
Iverm logged off the computer and pulled out a pocket blaster, then dived away. Immediately she fired but didn't hit anything. The other secretaries started screaming, and dived beneath thier desks. The Tynnans who wanted to join a political party or start their own political party all hit the ground as well. She started aiming not towards the security officers, but towards her computer. Immediately the officer carefully aimed and stunned her. Her one shot missed the computer and hit her desk.
"Everyone, calm down, the threat is over. Return to work as normal. This is a warning. Iverm here was entering false information into her computer, and ignoring other information that people gave her. We are watching. If you do what she did, you will not get away with it."
The Tynnans went back to work, though they were clearly shaken.
The security officer put his blaster in his holster and then grabbed his com link.
"Sir, we have dealt with Iverm. She chose to fight rather then to help us. She is stunned. We need a new secretary here, preferably soon. Oh, and she logged of the computer. We will need to crack the code to get back in."
"I'm looking for one. In the meantime just try to crack that code. I'll try to look up Iverm's code."
"Yes sir."
The code slicer sat down and immediately started to work at the computer, trying to log in. After a few minutes he shook his head.
"This code could be anything. I couldn't actually get past here security, but after checking the software on this thing I found this."
"What is it?"
"A code that switches the language you are using to a different one."
"What is the second language."
"There is more then two languages on here. So far I have uncovered one million. Her password could be in any of them."
"So how long could this take you?"
"A really, really long time."
"Damn. All right, continue trying to crack the code."
The security officer then called Gred."
"Gred, bad news. The computer has a code that switches what is typed in to a different langugage. So far there is at least one million languages."
"Well I have a bit of good news. I have found a new secretary, and she is on her way down. Her name is Shanley."
"Ok."
"And I have almost found Iverm's code. Start finding the hard copies to all of her files that she entered today."
"Yes sir."
Immediately the security guards found the hard copies. When the new secretary came she sat down and typed in the password.
"Gred called me and told it to me." replying to the questioning look the security guards were giving her.
The security guards handed her the hard copies and then left.
Two hours earlier at Tammar, the Tammarian Senate.
"We have no military might. Without aid we could fall prey of the New Order attacks that are becoming more frequent."
"Who would you have us join?"
"The Galactic Coalition."
"The Galactic Coalition? Give me a break. They are terrorists, nothing more."
"How are they terrorists? They have never attacked any civilian populations, unlike the Empire. Also, keep in mind, the same Empire that is brutually attacking more and more civilians is the Empire that is calling the Galactic Coalition terrorists."
"They are an illegitamite government. The Empire keeps order, the Galactic Coalition disrupts that order."
"As far as you are concerned every government other then the Empire is an illegitamite government."
"Precisly. If you want military aid, then why not join the Empire? That will protect us from everything. Your plan of joining the Galactic Coalition is terrible. That will probably just convince the Empire that we think the Galactic Coalition is good, and think that we support them. After that we will probably be attacked. Also, the Galactic Coalition is probably pressed to defend all their current planets. How many attacks have been successful against the Empire? That's right, none. How many have been successful against the Galactic Coalition? One, Abregado-rae."
"Wrong. The Outer-Rim Sovereignty managed to take Bespin and Taloraan."
"And killed most of the population while they were at it."
"The Galactic Coalition gave up Abregado-rae because the citizens did not want to belong to the Galactic Coalition. If we joined the Galactic Coalition we could be sure that the same thing would happen to us if we wished to leave. But if we join the Empire we will not have that freedom."
"If we joined the Galactic Coalition and then left, we would be back at step one, which is trying to find someone to protect us. If we join the Empire we will not have to worry about returning to step one."
"I'd rather have the option to return to step one then not have the option. Also, the Imperials will probably enslave us as they have done to many other races."
"I see your points, but I do not agree with them. I propose that we bring this matter to a vote."
"An excellent idea. There will be three options. Remaining neutral, joining the Galactic Coalition, or joining the New Order. That is unless any wants to propose another solution?"
"Joining the Outer-Rim Sovereignty."
"Any others?"
No one spoke.
"Then lets take the vote."
One hour later the votes were all counted.
"We have the results of the vote. 51% of the people want to join the Galactic Coalition, 35% want to join the Outer-Rim Sovereingty, 7% want to remain neutral and 7% want to join the New Order. It is now decided that we join the galactic Coalition."
Suddenly an aid rushed forward.
"Sir, a mercenary fleet has arrived. We have 2 Battle Horn Transports and 4 Gallofree transports incoming. They are heading for our military installations."
"Send out a general distress signal. Also, signal the Galactic Coalition asking them for help."
"Yes sir."
The enemy fleet came down.
"Launch all fighters and get all ground based weapons to fire."
Five planetary turbolasers fire, hitting the Battle Horn Transports. Unfortunately they were not powerful, and only lowered the shields of the transports, but did not penetrate.
"Sir, the transports are over our main garrison."
"Get the fighters up now. All troops armed with chip missiles, fire on the Battle Horns. Have the mercenaries made any transmittions yet?"
"No, not yet. Wait, receiving a transmittion now."
"Tammar Senators, surrender your planet immediately. Otherwise we will be forced to take it over by force."
"We will never surrender."
"Fine. Prepare to die."
"Sir, one of the Gallofrees has broken off. It is heading right for us and we are not reading any life signs."
"A ram ship. All ships, destroy that Gallofree, NOW. Started evacuating the Senate and get everyone out of this area."
"Yes sir."
The attack proceeded.
Meanwhile at Kubindi...
"Sir we have received a message from Tammar."
"That's pretty close to here isn't it?"
"Yes sir."
"Aren't the people there frightened of water?"
"Yes sir."
"Ok. What does the message say?"
"That they are under attack. It seems that the Nova Stars have attaced them."
"Those @#%$ never learn do they?"
"Evidentally not."
"All right, get all ships to plot a course to Tammar. Jump when ready. Destroy any and all Nova Star ships. If they surrender, capture them. Don't let them leave, I don't want to have to chase them across the entire galaxy."
"Yes sir."
The fleet jumped to Tammar.
Tammar
The Galactic Coalition fleet arrived, and immediately started firing on the nearby transports. All ships that were capable of entering the atmosphere did so, and latched on with their tractor beams, attempting to pull the transports away. Also, if they exploded they would be able to capture the drebis and prevent if from hitting the ground. The battle was swift, and successful. The enemy was quickly destroyed and very little drebis hit the ground. There was no civilian casualties, though some civilians were hurt. Immediately engineers started working on fixing what the drebis had hit, and medics started to help the injured. Two hours later a diplomatic envoy arrived and Tammar joined the Galactic Coalition, with many cheers and parades. The citizens were estactic and were very happy to be in the Galactic Coalition.
