Darth Kane was in his ship, which was headed for Tatooine. Earlier, he had escaped the Sith compound, killed the guards, all without detection. He left his mask with the dead guards' bodies, along with a datapad, that had written:

I have left. I'm beginning a quest against all Jedi: will destroy them, and turn the valuable to the darkside. Including my brother. We will take over this galaxy, and overule the band of sith masters of Xa Fel. I urge any apprentices to join me on my quest; meet me at Tatooine, and there we shall discuss it. Any Sith Masters who think they can defeat me, come to Tatooine. You can't kill what you can't find.

He smiled maniacally into the huge window, which displayed the franticness of hyperspace.

"Have you sent the message to...you know who...?" He asked as his assassin droid approached.

"Yes, Master. He will ne notified soon, I presume." The droid answered.

"Good. Now, I have some bad news." Kane frowned, as if annoyed. "I feel this Jedi Apprentice, through the Force...she may become of a nuissance in the future, I feel she should be exterminated also. Send her some type of message, or by any means possible get her on Tatooine. She will not pose a threat there. Hopefully..."

"Yes Master. I will do so immediatly. Is it the one we had spoken of earlier?"

"Yes, fool. Do it. Do it now." Kane said as the droid went off to complete the assignment.

After a while, the planet Tatooine came into focus. Darth Kane with no mask, seemed very different; a young face, with a full goatee, long blonde hair, but eyes the color of pitch, and red pupils.

They landed on Tatooine, and Kane exited the ship. A man approached him.


"This is restricted area, sir." The man said as Kane turned and glared at his following droid. "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Sorry for the inconvienience."

Kane grabbed the man by the throat, and threw him aside. He easily killed the other guards, and proceeded into the tatooine dunes.

Tara had left the Jedi Temple to take a walk in the town. She knew Vodo would be upset at her for leaving, but she needed a break. She walked into a cantina and found herself in a corner, cornered by three bounty hunters. She never knew that someone wanted her. She knew that whoever it was wasn't going to get her.

"Disarm yourself, Jedi," one bounty hunter stated.

"I think not," Tara said calmly, activating her lightsaber and cutting two of the Bounty Hunters in half across their waists. It took that long for the last one to stun her and she collapsed.

"I thought this was going to be hard."

Tara woke up, bound in a cell-like encampment as the door opened and the one bounty hunter from before walked in.

"We've landed on Tattooine. You've got a pretty price on your head, dear one."

She knew it would be a better idea if she waited to see who wanted her and the bounty hunter pushed her from behind and guided her out of the ship and came face to face with a man with a goatee. She could fear darkness eminating like him like a stench from a bantha.

"And who would you be?"

Kurt was awakened extra early, a knock at his door. Kurt hated mornings: whoever was there was bound to get a rude welcome. Kurt rolled out of his bed, and put his dark blue robe on, and practiced his Force abilities by trying to sense who was there...a droid.

"What do you want?" He asked rudely, yet curiously.

"Hologram delivery for Jedi Apprentice Kurt Night." The droid kept repeating.

Kurt swore under his breath and opened the door, took the little device, and closed the door again. He got some food, and sat down for breakfast as he set the hologram device infront of him, and switched it on. A strange assassin droid appeared in a blue fuzz, and began to speak.

"Dear sir or madam. You have won 50,000 credits, sponsored by the SPEEDZ pod racers team. To claim your prize, report to the center of the Tatooine desert- alone today. Thank you."

Kurt laughed humoured, eventhough concerned. It was obviously a trap, but what was it all about? He knew he had to find out, so he grabbed his lightsaber, left his chambers with his breakfast unfinished.

Boy will Vodo be mad.

He left in search of his old ship that he left on his first arrival and completely forgot about- but it was gone. He looked around for another ride, and found a basic small space pod, able to run, but it seemed it was being worked on by droids. Kurt ran over and pushed them aside with the Force, hopped on, and murmured-

"Forgive me, Master."

And he adjusted some necessary things, and it took off.

He awoke being dragged by a couple armored men- possibly bounty hunters. They noticed his eyes opened, and one swung and hit Kurt in the back of the head, knocking him unconcious immediatly.

He once again came back to life, vision a bit blurry at first. He was hanging by his wrists which were chained to the wall. His lightsaber was hanging on the other side of the wall. It seemed he was in a Sand People base- except only dead Sand People on the ground. Kurt looked ahead. In the hot little room, there was a Sand Person screaming, begging for mercy from a man, an evil man surrounded by the darkside of the force.

"Sorry! This is my place now!" The man announced as he stabbed the Sand person in the heart with his red lightsaber. The man turned to Kurt.

"Ah, Kurt Night. Long time no see, eh?" The man said, seeming nice for a moment. Kurt didn't understand, but soon forgot as two other armored men, armed with electric torture spears.

Kurt Night was mercilessly tortured, until he eventually tried with all his strength to view what was going o within this base. The first thing he saw was another Apprentice that he noticed from Naboo- she was being dragged by the bounty hunters. Kurt fell unconcious, his robe ripped in various parts and wounds filling in the spaces.

Kane found a Sand People base.

"Perfect." He said to himself as he comanded his bounty hunters who volunteered on Tatooine to kill the Sand People manifestation to do so.

They all soon died, except for one, whom Darth Kane would soon cut down with his saber.

"Sorry! This is my place now!" He yelled as he stabbed the freak. He turned to notice a Jedi Apprentice staring at him with wrists hanging from chains on the wall, long blonde hair, goatee like those of Kane.

Wow, my men have done well. I didn't expect him here so soon.

"Ah, Kurt Night. Long time no see, eh?" Said Darth Kane. Then he turned to two of his armored men.

"Sir. The other one has arrived." The man said quietly as he took out torture weapons and another one entered.

Kane left them to torture the apprentice. Kane approached the young woman jedi with contempt.

"I expect you enjoyed the ride?" He asked humourisly.

"It doesn't matter if I enjoyed it or not. It appears that I am to defeat you," Tara said emotionlessly, "of course, it could be that I'm to die at your hands, but if I can hope, I'd hope that it's the former."

She believed that she had deleted all emotions she had and she was as calm as anyone. Her instinct was to get her lightsaber and to defeat the sith in front of her by any way possible.

"You almost remind me of my mother," she stated as emotionlessly as before, "and if you didn't know, she was a Sith."

Darth Kane motionned for the bounty hunters to follow him.

"Oh, I'm flattered indeed." He said as he turned to her. "Would your mother do this?!" He slapped her scross the face mercilessly.

They entered a small room, with a sweating man with torn garments and wounds all over him (Kurt Night), and Tara and Kurt's lightsabers hanging on the other wall. Kurt was being tortured. He wasn't concious.

"Do you recognize this man?" He motionned to Kurt. "It doesn't matter anyhow...but before he wakes, let me show you a secret."

Darth Kane lifted his hood, revealing the exact same face as Kurt, except red eyes circled in black.

"You're the first to know, or see my face. Do not tell him, ever. It will be a surprise." He laughed, and the bounty hunters hung her up beside him.

"It doesn't matter what she would've done," she stated emotionlessly as she was guided, "what matters is that if given a choice, you'd meet the same exact fate as her."

She was hung beside a wounded man and smiled.

"I'm only here to see who had wanted me and I don't care who you are," she stated as she used the force and caught her lightsaber and broke her binds.

The bounty hunter tried to blast a hole through her and she reflected it right back at the hunter and it was then that she and the sith were face to face. The smile disappeared to her usual straight face.

"You are much too dangerous to allow to live. I will do everything in my power to defeat you."

With that, she aimed to slice the sith in half.

Kane hopped into the air, evading the slice, landed back down and went for a hit at her chest with his saber, but she blocked and they were face to face, trying to overpower eachother.

"Ooooh, that's a naughty schutta." He siad with a grin as he used the force to puch her down into the corner. "I will give you three choices, my dear. First, you could join me, and the darkside. Second, you could refuse and be killed by my lightsaber. Or third, you could become my...'personal assistant'."

"For the first choice: no way, Second choice: over my dead body, for the third choice: not if I castrate you first."

She looked determined and she tried to force him back, fighting him.

"You know, that annoyed me, just a tiny bit."

She drew his lightsaber far from her intended target as she hopefully aimed a kick in his more personal of areas.

Kane frowned.

"Oh come now. You will like it. Being my personal assistant comes with some advantages." He grinned and winked. Then he noticed she was linedd up to kick him in the balls.

"Don't do it. Then I will have to kill you. And you will experience just what he experienced..." He pointed to Kurt. "And he's innocent. And by the way, you must be wondering why you're here. Well....I can somewhat see the future. It's more foresight, actually. And I see you and him as a problem, or an ally. And if one of you go, the other goes. So I guess you're both lined up for years of torture."

Just then Kurt awoke and used the force to bring his saber to him. He cut the chains, and him and Kane fought for a moment, until Kurt went in for a strike at Kane's head. Kane ducked, and sliced off Kurt's leg.

"Aaaaarrghh!!" Kurt screamed as he fell to the ground in pain.
