He sat in a strange sort of silence in his quarters, rocking back and fourth as his blue arms clenched around his body. He mumbled to himself... and on occasion, had conversations with what he liked to refer to as 'people in the shadows.' His mind was growing more and more fragile... more and more prone to insanity... more and more prone to take action.
Faint whispers and moans escaped his lips as he continued to rock back and fourth, supervised by two Seletekian Guards with worried looks on there faces. He was there leader... there lord and master... the mastermind behind the rebellion against House Nuruodo, and the campaign of attacks that had so brazenly brought the Rebel House Nuruodo Phalanx to power.
"What should we do about him?" one of the officers whispered, a concerned look smeared across his pale blue face.
"You will do nothing!" the man on the floor snapped as he stood up as quick as a fleet entering hyperspace. His thin, frail body had become decomposed. Weight dropping off of him had left his skin wrinkled, and sagging in most spots. His face was thin, and weiry, yet it held a strange sence of power, and dominance in it. Dominance that surpassed any other.
The officer stepped back defensively, nodding to his commander with the upmost respect. "Forgive me M'Lord. I ment no intrusion."
Renat'alo'nuruodo stepped forward, his thin face growing more and more pale as he stepped out of the shadows, and into the hallway of the Redflame, Flagship of the Rebel House Nuruodo Phalanx. His eyes were unusually watered down, as if the evening had taken a heavy tole on him.
The two guards stepped aside, bowing out of respect for the man that had declared himself a god.... ruler over the powers of the Galaxy. The God of Death

“What are you talking about?” Renat'alo'nuruodo snapped as he leaned back against the cold metallic wall in his quarters. He hadn’t moved in three days. Not to eat, not to sleep, not even to use the restrooms. With each passing day, more and more grew frustrated with him; more and more prone to defect, yet he remained hidden in the shadows of his quarters, rasping coughs his only company. Few had taken the liberty to confront him personally about his situation, and even fewer muttered words of distaste for his leadership, for those that had did not survive the night.
“Your excellency, forgive my intrusion, but your plan has failed.” the officer continued, trembling as he stepped forward into the shadows of the room. He stood tall, his head held high out of respect for the man that sat shaking before him.
“My plans do not fail, commander.”
The officer cleared his throat. “One of our scouts have reported that the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet’s Second Division is on patrol just outside of the demilitarized zone between Farquak, and Chiss space as a precaution due to the current unrest, sir. If we cross the demilitarized zone now, there sensors will pick up our ion trails, your grace.”
The shadowed figure started to laugh momentarily, interrupted by the rasping coughs that plagued him. He raised a hand to meet the corner of his mouth, a faint drop of blood escaping his lips. The officer didn’t seem to take notice, or frankly was too afraid to question it. His trembling body stood, leaning against the wall for support. Renat'alo'nuruodo’s legs had become too weak to bare his own weight.
“Order all ships to prepare for battle.” he said, his voice intermittent with harsh undertones of pain.
“Sir?”
“Do it, you fool!”
“Yes sir.”
The officer offered a brief salute, turned on his heel, and strode out of the darkness. Moments later, he found himself on the bridge of the Redflame, an Imperial Class Star Destroyer; surprisingly much more powerful than the previous flagship that the Expansionary Defense Fleet had destroyed. “Code Red, Gentlemen.” he spoke with a great sense of personal esteem for himself, commanding the most powerful ship in the fleet. The excitement overwhelmed him as the crew quickly jostled back and fourth, sending encrypted transmissions to fellow ships, throwing out tactical orders. It all seemed too easy, yet he knew that the true trouble came during the actual engagements.
Pressing a small blue button, an image of the dark room appeared before him. “Your Excellency, all ships are prepared for battle. What is your command?”
“Attack!” the voice cracked from the darkness. “Blow the second division out of space! Leave no...survivors...” as the voice grew more and more dim... more and more harsh, and interrupted with rasping coughs, the commander severed the comlink, folded his arms behind his back, and stared out of the transparisteel viewing port before him. Today would be a day of triumph for the Seletekian Fleet.
A Day of Death.

Sergeant Nouran stood at the bridge of the Star Destroyer with his fleet getting ready to move into the Seletek System. Nouran had been in the military business of the Chiss Empire since he was very young. He had the talent for Military Phalanx Tactics. His flagship, Sprit of Csilla, held a couple hundred thousand troops. He knew for a fact that he would be outnumbered when they reach the planet. Nouran, though, was quite certain they wouldn't be conquered at battle.
The Chiss Phalanx Troops are heavily armed with all the requirements they need to survive AND kill. Spirit of Csilla and the rest of the Destroyers prepared themselves as quickly as possible, because soon they would be called into fight a battle they knew was coming. Nouran left the bridge, heading back to his room as they waited for word from the General. Nouran had almost reached his room when one of the officers came speeding around the corner.
"Sergeant. We received word from the General. It's time to go."
"Good." Nouran said. He now had to walk all the way back to the bridge, and for some reason he took his time doing so. As he arrived, he spoke again. "Where are my Victory Destroyers, and the lancer frigates?"
"They said they would be arriving soon, Sergeant."
"Tell them to hurry. We have to leave immediately."
"Sir, they just arrived."
"Good, call me Sergeant, not sir. Notify them we are leaving now. I want to be in hyperspace in no later that two minutes."
"Yes, Sergeant." He replied, walking off to his station.
Nouran sat down inside the bridge. In no less than two minutes, like requested, all the starships left Ignias from Chiss space. An alert sounded throughout the ship. It notified all officers to their posts, and for the troops to get themselves ready for war. The Phalanx Troops were more than prepared for the war as they alarm went off. Nouran stood up once more, looking out the window into space as they sped off to their destination.
The Seletekians had no idea what was coming. Their fleet has been moved away from the planet by another one of the Chiss Fleets. All they had to do is arrive, drop them off, and then their ships will leave them for their battle. A sudden beeping arose from inside the alarm.
"Sergeant Neuron. Get to your shuttle, we will be arriving shortly."
Nouran left the bridge without a word and ran to his assigned hangar bay. There were tons of shuttles ready for taking the Phalanx Troopers down to the surface of the planet. He saw tons of troopers loading into the shuttles. Nouran walked onto his assigned shuttle, with other high-rank officers. The shuttles suddenly lifted off one after the other from all of the destroyers and Frigates. There were a few defenders and clawcrafts already outside the ship, assumed to be the Chiss'. They were to escort the shuttles to the planet in case of any rebel fighters of some sort.
The Destroyers and the Frigates left just as soon as they arrived, and not even waiting for the shuttles to get back. The shuttles, without the fighters now were entering the Seletek atmosphere. It was a very dry world, a lot like Geonosis but a bit more flat. It was barren and dry. The shuttles landed and they unloaded the thousands of men they had. The Phalanx Troopers were soon assembled and in their sections like planned.
Nouran was behind the entire Army, ready for war. In the distance you could hear the march of men getting louder. Soon you could see Seletek troops by hundreds of thousands. They were less armed with equal amount of men. They surrounded the Chiss Phalanx forces quickly. The Chiss Phalanx Troopers made huge circle like shape and stood there as if waiting to be attacked. The Rebel forces stopped marching a few hundred meters away. Nouran was inside.
"We're more armed, but they have outnumbered as if they were insects. On my word, attack. If they attack, shoot.""
Few of the rebel forces had blasters, most of them carrying some kind of projectile. The rebel forces charged at the Chiss Troopers. The Chiss Troopers surprised the Rebel forces with AT-AT's emerging from the troops and shuttles.
"I want the men inside the circle to make bunkers out of the shuttles we currently have scattered around. They can blast out the windows and shoot from inside. I want those AT-ATs to go no father than one hundred meters too."
"Sir, the bunkers won't be required, our troops are stronger."
"They will come with more, trust me. Do what I said."
The Officer nodded and soon enough the AT-ATs stopped. The first swarm of rebel forces didn't cause one casualty against the hundreds of AT-ATs scattering the perimeter of the Phalanx Troops. The first swarm of rebel forces were killed by the thousands by the AT-Ats alone. It seemed the AT-Ats were strong enough to take them out alone, but as they beat of another army comes into view, everyone thought otherwise.

As the new army came into view, they were equipped with blasters each. The thought of defeat crossed the all of the phalanx troopers' minds. It looked as though they were to be defeated because of the weaponry. The Chiss troopers failed to realize that their weaponry was better and more advanced than a simple blaster. The enemy had no armor or smarts. They were just a bunch of men and women with a blaster thinking they could win the war. Nouran knew the enemy was going to be easily defeated, he could tell.
His army had men in the shuttles as bunkers to shoot out of. He had AT-Ats. He had more advanced troopers. He had more weapons, more armor, more of everything. The Chiss stood out numbered by the hundreds of thousands. Men surrounded the Chiss as far as they could see. There were hills all around them, and dead bodies everywhere. The dead bodies were every color but blue, the Chiss haven't lost a man.
Nouran remembered his childhood hero, the General of the Phalanx Troopers. He remembers his tactics. Though that man is long since dead, Nouran could use his tactics at the battlefield for his own advantage. He remembered that General Teelk had won so many battles. He remembered the days when he was the hero of Chiss Military. Nouran yelled out orders once again.
"First two lines, drop. I want those shuttles on the front lines, and the AT-ATs outside of them."
He had no time to think. He couldn't tell when they would be attacked, so all he could do was hurry. The shuttles soon outlined the troops, two per division of the phalanx troopers. The fists two lines of men kneeled down behind the shuttles like ordered in case of close range combat. The other lines stood up with their heavy blasters aimed outward. The AT-Ats outlined the shuttled from there. The battlefield was quiet on the dirty, desolate world of Seletek. The Rebel forces stood doing nothing. All the phalanx trooper had to do was keep a defensive position until such time that they need to attack.
Nouran spoke to one of his advisors.
"Why aren't they attacking, I would have thought that they would by-"
Nouran was interrupted by a searing sound when rebel fighters swooped across the sky attack Nouran's men. The fighters seem to be attacking the AT-Ats, and killing men along with it. The Chiss fired at the squadron of fighters.
"Get me my fighters, NOW! I want both squadrons of clawcraft down here!"
Soon after hundreds of Chiss lie on the ground injured, clawcraft emerge from the sky attacking the one squadron of fighters. The standoff lasted no more than two minutes from whence it started. He had lost no fighters yet. The clawcraft sliced through them out like the cut of a knife on human skin.
"If they want to play this game, we'll play it too." Nouran said, totally pissed off.
"I want those fighters attacking the rebel forces. I don't want to have to attack with my men. We'll need to stay defensive for a while before we can do any kind of Phalanx Troopers."
Seconds later the fighters sprung toward the enemy. The blasters shot out of the fighters killing man after man after man. The blasts killed off the front lines. The rebel forces shot at the fighters frantically, doing so they killed some of their own men. They hadn't done ANY damage to the Chiss Fighters.
"Now, bring them back. Send them a message, from me. Tell them don't play this game, or more fighters will come."
"Yes Sir, I mean Sergeant."
"Thank you." He said smugly.
The stand off between both armies lasted over an hour, neither attacked. One side covered in blue, the other pink, green, and red.
"Send out the AT-ATs another hundred meters. Make them think we're attacking with a couple blaster shots too. I also want the bunker men to make a few shots after the AT-Ats, then see if they do anything. I don't want to lose anymore men."
The AT-ATs let out their squeeks as they walked slowly for five minutes. They walked out one hundred meters and stopped. From there, you could see the rustle of talking between the rebel forces. The AT-Ats made a few blasts at the enemy, then behind it came a few from the shuttle bunkers.
The front line of Rebel Forces charged at the AT-ATs like tiny little bugs scurrying across the ground. Like the first round before, they killed them off like nothing.
"I can't believe what they're doing. They just wasted a whole line of men. This is lasting too long."
Right when Nouran realized this he heard the sound of a chant. He looked outward at the enemy army. He could barely see them. The Army was coming their way, very slowly. It was almost as if a ritual as they came towards the AT-ATs. They marched slowly, chanting something to the beat of their steps. It was a war song. Right when the song ended and the AT-Ats let fire, the charged.

Nouran wasn't surprised by the onslaught of men coming their way. He knew he would be outnumbered. They ran past the AT-ATs, underneath them, and even a few blaster shots that did nothing. Nouran was looking out from inside his shuttle in the middle of the surrounding Chiss Phalanx Troopers. He watched the chiss annihilate the Rebel Forces. As far as you can see, there were more men coming off from a top the hills.
The Rebel Forces started throwing thermal detonators at the AT-ATs from underneath, sticking them to the bottom of it. The AT-ATs blew into pieces, one by one. They were just down to men now. The Bunkers worked great against the oncoming forces as they reached the Chiss Phalanx Troopers. The entire front line of Rebel Forces fell to the ground as blaster shots from inside the shuttle bunkers hit them.
Line after line after line of rebel forces fall to the ground making an obstacle course of dead bodies from blaster shots of the bunkers. The Rebel forces were no match against the Chiss Phalanx Troopers. You could see the last line of Phalanx Troopers at the top of the hill. It seemed the bunker held them off long enough for their dead bodies to make a wall. A barrier around the Chiss Forces of dead bodies was four feet high, and not one Chiss Phalanx Trooper has had to fight hand to hand yet. The Fighting stopped between the wall, no men could get in or out.
Nouran had an idea. He could pile up the shuttles with men and have them shoot out of the sides as they land, and when it lands release more men and fight. He wasn't quite sure about it yet. He could just bomb the whole wall, being the last resort. That's when he came up with another idea. Maybe a couple dozen Armored Assault Tanks would do the trick. He got on the Comm system and opened a link to Ignias, Chiss Home Planet.
"General. I require two dozen Chiss Armored Assault Tanks to end this war once and for all. It has prolonged too long."
"Yes. We will send them out immediately."
"Thank you General."
Nouran turned to his advisor.
"Until we get those tanks, I want all of the Phalanx Troopers back to their original positions, have them throw all the dead bodies with the others."
"Yes, Sergeant."

Vequil smiled as the shuttles launched and flew down to the planet, to wipe out these damm Rebels. His fleet began to pull away from the planet, and suddenly alarms blared.
"Sir, incoming ships. Our initial formation will be wiped out by the amount of them."
"Call in the reserves. Get me information. I want to know how much they have, and where it is."
Vequil knew no fear. Being the superior tactician that he was, he always liked to keep a large amount of ships in reserve, which was why his fleet was divided into two sections.
Taskforce Csilla, the initial one, was made of mainly Star Destroyers, with the Spirit of Csilla, a Defender Star Destroyer, his flagship. Accompaning that was two Imperial Star Destroyers, three Defender Star Destroyers, five Victory Star Destroyers and five Lancer Frigates. There was also an Interdictor Cruiser. The second taskforce, Taskforce Exterminator, was much larger. Two Defender Star Destroyers, Exterminator and Blood Gutter, were the largest in the fleet. Then came five Victory Star Destroyers, ten Aegis Star Cruisers Mark Two, five Aegis Star Carriers, an Interceptor Cruiser, six Nebulon-B2 Frigates, seven Lancer Frigates and two more Interdictor Cruisers. The enemy wouldn't have more then that.
"Sir, we have four Imperial Star Destroyers, twelve Victory Star Destroyers, and ten Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers. They are launch Clawcraft. Wait, they have two Interdictor Cruiser at the back of the formation, powering up gravity well generators. They are moving into a bowl formation, the Interdictors at the edge, with some Victory Star Destroyers providing protection. Then we have the dreadnaughts, and finally, at the center, we have the majority of the Victory Star Destroyers and the Imperial Star Destroyers there."
"Call in Taskforce Exterminator, get the interdictor to pull them out of hyperspace. Launch all fighters, commence the attack. I want us in a wedge formation, though prepare for it to move out into a bowl. Cut directly through their formation, keep the Interdictor in the center. Standard wedge formation, stronger ships then weakers ones, though I want ourselves and Havoc at the back, providing cover for the fleet. I want a the Lancer Frigates to stay in the center as well, moving out to help a capital ship, only if it's fighters can't deal with the threat. Now, what do they expect us to do?"
"Continue on our path, aiming at the edge of the bowl, at one of the Interdictors."
"Exactly, so what don't we do?"
"We don't do what they expect us to do."
"Excellent. Therefor, what do we do?"
"We aim for the center, at the strongest point, and blow through the formation, not lingering for a long battle. Then, when our backup fleet comes, we swerve around for another pass."
"On our next pass, where will it be aiming?"
"At a different point then our original course, probably at one of the ends of the bowl. Then, we spread out, work our way up from that side, all the way through the line, to the last side, staying in a wedge formation, though it may be wide at the front, like a broken blade."
"Good work, Lieutenant."
Vequil loved questioning his subordinates, it taught them better tactics, for when they became the captain of a ship or fleet, and it made sure that they knew what they were doing. Also, it ws easier to promote them, if they were frequently tested. In fact, Lieutenant Serin was due for a promotion soon. He glanced out the viewport, as the taskforce altered direction and sped up, the trap was set, and the Rebels had bitten on the bait...

(OOC) NP man, I was given a fleet compliment along with the troops for this RP too, so I had used those fighters, but they have long since left the system.
(IC)
Nouran was in awe of how many rebel soldiers there were when they started, but they were very weak. There were still some out here, at the edges of the hills. Nouran needed to wipe them out before he could continue to call the planet under their control. He needed those Tanks. It was getting dark.
Out of the sky, dark blue and black shuttles float to the surface. They landed out side of the existing shuttles, and the doors on them slowly opened to reveal tanks. There were four shuttles with six in each of them. The Tanks rolled out next to the shuttles. They lined up in fours. Nouran nodded at the pilots, and they left. He smiled and walked over to the tanks, he put his hand on one and let it slide down the edge of it.
"Nice, aren't they?"
"It's time we show these Rebels what they're missing. This one's mine, I'm taking this tank for myself. He lifted the lid and ordered the man out. He crawled in and put on his Comm System."
He then began to talk through the Comm system.
"Roll out. I want three teams in front of me, and two at my side. Bring the troops out behind us, then keep the shuttles there for defensive maneuvers if they're required. Attack North on my mark. Call up Captain Vequil, a fighter compliment would be nice."
He messed with the steering controls for a few seconds, then spoke up into the comm system again.
"Attack now!"
While Nouran, the Troopers, and the Tanks make their way north, Nouran's advisors open a new link to the Captain Vequil.
"Captain Vequil, Sergeant Nouran has asked me to notify you that he requires a fighter compliment. He needs them as soon as possible. If you wish to speak with him, I will patch you through, but he is on the battlefield… in a tank."
Nouran commanded the tanks for flanking maneuvers.
"Blue team flank left, Red team flank right. Gold, stay forward. Phalanx one through six attack straight with blasters until up close combat is required. Run them over."
The team of tanks ripped through the sides of the Rebel Troops killing them off with explosions and severing them in half as they ran them over. The Phalanx Troopers cut through the middle. The small battle was soon over quickly. They had achieved victory, or so they thought.
Once again the sound of footsteps beating closer and closer were heard. The last of the Rebel Troops surrounded the Phalanx Troopers and Armored Assault Tanks by the thousands. Off in the distance, what used the be the Chiss Camp looked as though it was never there… just pieces of Junk were left from the explosions they never heard. They were too tied up in their own battle to realize base was destroyed.
Nouran looked up; two shuttles were aloft in the sky. He must have lost connection with his Advisors, he was hoping they were alive. He confused surrounded by troops, and no connection.
"CSHHH. Sergeant Nouran, do you copy? CSHH Sergeant CSHHH HH copy?"
"I copy. I'm going to need those fighters really soon, otherwise we've lost. We'll stand off as much as we can, but we still need those fighters!"
Nouran looked around in his tank. They hadn't lost a tank yet.
"ATTACK THEM!!!! What are you waiting for?"
What was left of the troopers started blasting the Rebels down. The Armored Assault tanks then started mowing down the Rebels. Though it looked good, defeat was still in the air. Nouran looked plainly and, not scared, as he mowed down the Rebels.
"Kill them all!"

The fleet slahed straight in on the four Imperial Star Destroyers, splitting through the center of them, causing major damage to each other, being broadsided. Suddenly, two Victory Star Destroyers pulled out of formation, one to go infront of the fleet, and the other to fire on them from behind. An aide rushed up behind Vequil.
"Sir, Sergeant Nouran is requesting some fighter backup."
"Send in a wing of 36 Chiss Clawcraft, along with one squadron of the TIE Advanced, and a squadron of TIE Defenders."
The assigned fighters broke off from the attack, and fled as fast as they could down to the planet, to help Sergeant Nouran with the ground battle.
"Spirit of Csilla and Havoc, ninety degree turn, I want a full broadside on the Victory Star Destroyer behind us. Send Destruction and Death of to stop that at Victory Star Destroyer trying to stop us from the front. I want Invincible to continue leading the wedge out."
The two Defender Star Destroyers protecting the rear of the Chiss formation executed the 90 degree turn, and stopped dead in space. Their batteries continued to dish out a pounding, though instead of aimed at the Imperial Star Destroyers in front of them, it was all aimed at one Victory Star Destroyer. It's shields started to glow, and the gunners did not stop their fire. The shields came down, and numerous guns were aimed at the command tower, to destroy the shield projectors visible there, and hopefully blow the whole tower off. Other guns just aimed at the hull, with ion cannon bolts playing blue lightning across the hull, disrupting systems. Turbolasers blasted hull plating off, or disinigrated enemy weapon batteries. Suddenly a brilliant flash was visible on the base of the command tower. The tower began to fall to the port side, away from the Chiss ships.
"That is a confirmed kill, proceed on original course."
The two Defender Star Destroyers pulled out, their guns now firing at the enemy Imperial Star Destroyers, which had oved closer, trying to get within firing range. As Vequil glanced outside, he noticed that the two Imperial Star Destroyers sent to destroy the other enemy Victory Star Destroyer had completed their job, and had turned back, to help distract the enemy as Spirit of Csilla and Havoc blasted through the formation. As they came through, and swung around, Taskforce Exterminator blasted out of hyperspace. They immediatly formed into a wedge, and Vequil devised a change in the plan.
"Taskforce Exterminator, take the edge of the bowl where the two Victory Star Destroyers have not been blasted, we will take the reduced side. Work your way to the center, from weaker ships to stronger ones."
"Yes sir."
The two Taskforces split apart, and one went to each end. As they neared the Interdictor Cruisers, Vequil saw that Taskforce Exterminator and come apart, into a bowl, circling around the Interdictor, to fire on more targets at once. The ships in Taskforce Csilla immediatly saw the strategy in this, and split into a bolw themselves. Then, the circle closed around the bowl, and it became a massacre. Taskforce Exterminator, being much larger, expanded out past the Imperial Star Destroyers, and into the zone protected by the Victory Star Destroyers. Taskforce Csilla moved out, and met them there, with Havoc and Spirit of Csilla opposite of each other, blasting away at the smaller, less armed Victory Star Destroyers. The Lancer Frigates and Interdictors stayed out of the battle, not wanting to get compeltly outclassed by the better armed ships. Fighters rushed through the fire, one squadron occassionally going on a torpedoe run, then moving back and dogfighting with the enemy fighters. The sensor board was indicated fewer and fewer red dots, though there was also some blue dots missing. A Victory Star Destroyer moved off, and teamed up with another Victory Star Destroyer, destroyed two of the Nebulon-B2 Frigates. In revenge, two squadrons of fighters moved out, and did a torpedoe run on an isolated dreadnaught, while Spirit of Csilla moved out, and destroyed two Dreadnaughts, with help from Terror, a Victory Star Destroyers. The battle was going well.
"Sir both enemy interdictor cruisers have been demolished. Their Imperial Star Destroyer formation is destroyed, and they have only four dreadnaughts and 6 Victory Star Destroyers left. Their fighter have been destroyed."
"Excellent. Commence mop up, and inform me once we return to Ignias."
Vequil leaned back, and shut his eyes, remebering those lost in the battle, as his fleet demolished the Rebels. Then they moved on, and destroyed the shipyard that they had constructed. The fleet then left Seletek, with the space battle one. One Victory Star Destroyer, and the four remain Nebulon-B2 Frigates stayed behind, to provide medical attention for the troops on the ground, as did their combined 120 fighter, plus the ones released to help Sergeant Nouran.

Sergeant Nouran was almost depressed. His troops were barely holding off with six tanks left. It seems the tanks were destroyed faster than the Phalanx Troopers. In the night of the sky dark ships suddenly appeared.
"Attack the rebels!"
That's when the fighters came though killing them off like nothing. The fighters ripped through the rebels. In minutes the rebels had been taken out. Victory Cheered throughout the remaining Chiss.
"Send down the shuttles."
Their shuttles landed safely. Minutes later more shuttles came from the sky and the fighters left the Seletek atmosphere. They picked up the remaining tanks and troopers. The battle was over, Seletek belonged to The Sovereign Chiss Empire
