The personal transport of the Lord of the Shadow, a former Imperator-class Star Destroyer Mark III that had been surrendered to him, and since been appropraitely named Shadow Reaper, slipped through the infinite tunnel that was hyperspace.

The vessel's travel was invisible, as hyperspace guaranteed. No sensor unit in the galaxy could detect a vessel in hyperspace. Not this far out in Wild Space, anyway.

The Lord of the Shadow himself sat idle in the large command chair at the rear of the bridge, watching the swirlling mass of hyperspace pass outside. The bridge of the massive vessel, more than a kilometre distant, was visible through the void.

It had taken close to three weeks, using the small stations the Ashar man had provided, to complete the modifications on his fleet. But it was well worth it, the Shadow Reaper could smash any normal Imperator Star Destroyer it faced, even with decreased starfighter support.

He smiled at that. It was good to be in command of his own ship. The LFX Guardian had been nice, but this... this was his.
"Lord Omini?" A questioning voice raised from the walkway, and the Shadow Lord focused his eyes on the man. He was young, but not as young as some that served on the Shadow Lord's flagship.
"Major Tennel. You have something to report?" The title Major did not exactly apply to the man that stood in front of him. Most everyone on the Shadow Reaper knew that Brakiss Tennel was Ominii's Right Hand, an extension of his will. The second most powerful man in the Shadow Guard.

He was also, it was said, potent in the use of the Force - both light and dark.

"I do, Lord Ominii. The Shadow Reaper will be dropping out of hyperspace within moments. Our location will be somewhere near the Bespin System, as you ordered. From there, we will proceed as planned." The Shadow Lord nodded his approval of the Major's report.
"Everything is proceeding in order?" He asked, not taking his gaze from the man's eyes.
"Yes, Lord. We will be arrive in a matter of hours." Ominii smiled.
"Excellent, Major Tennel. The galaxy will once more feel the wrath of the Shadow Guard."</font>

OOC Note
We are not attacking Bespin; we are simply skirting the edge of the system.

<font color=gray>The Shadow Reaper's reversion to realspace went unnoticed outside the Bespin system, as did that of the Shadow Caller, some distance away.

Both ships immediatly launched their half dozen scouts, small one-man stealth fighters that would be the eyes and ears of the Star Destroyers when they activated their cloaking devices.

"Major Tennel?" The Shadow Lord's question rang across the silent bridge, startling the bridge personal in full wakefulness.
"Lord?"
"Set course for the fourth planet of the Hoth system. Transmit to Shadow Caller to do likewise. Right, then; activate the cloaking device. Full sublight ahead."
The orders were relayed to the Shadow Reaper's sistership, and within moments both of the Star Destroyers had vanished. The only testiment to their presence was an already-fading ion stream, and the insignificant presence of their scouts, which could have been little more than space debris.

Travelling under full cloak was a painful prospect to starship captains. The benefit of being totally invisible was far outweighed by the fact that they were double blind, for some. And what was more disturbing was looking out the viewports and seeing only blackness.

Lord Ominii, to both aide his crew and keep their true destination in the dark, ordered all blast windows shut, and had the crew informed that the Star Destroyers were in hyperspace.

How many believed this story was unknown, but none questioned the Shadow Lord's word. And so they slid, in an infinite blackness, forward through space to their final destination. A small, insignificant planet known as Hoth, where the Rebels had fled and the Empire had waged a bitter war, and where the Death Star had been reborn and died again.

Perhaps Hoth was not to insignificant, after all...
