Rise of a God

Continued from Crimson Empire: End of an Age.

A Dark Lord stands silent upon the highest tower of Bast Castle. His arms stretched above him, lightning lancing from his fingertips into the newly formed Force Storms surrounding the planet. A roar is issued from his lungs, nearly splitting the fabric of time and space itself.

His rage, built from the whining and indecisive nature of his fellow Sith, had finally over-taken him. He had finally cracked through the mental wall and reached a new plateau of power. Finally he had broken through to a level he thought unattainable in his lifetime.

The vast power and magnitude of the storms raging around him suprised even the Dark Lord himself. Finally he had reached a level worthy of the Sith of old. Now, as then, he had become far more than a man. He had developed far beyond being a Sith Lord. He was a God. In every sense of the word.

In the ancient times the Dark Lord was the center of the Sith religion. Their God, their King. As it was then, so would it be again. He would no longer ask them to serve along side him. He would now command them to serve his will, his cause, his goals. He would show them the true power of the Force, weather they joined him or not.

Soon it would be evident, a new God had awakened. His name was Maim and his wrath was to be feared.

Tarnak Somir sat within his meditation chambers. He had been instructed to consider his place in this galaxy before speaking to his superiors ever again. He had, indeed, considered his place.

He grew tired of petty assignments and petty rewards. It was time he were to prove himself. Not only did he need to prove himself as a servant of the Crimson Empire but as a Sith Lord. The Force storms around him gave him precisely what he needed. He had needed a wake up call.

Indeed, he had learned much. He was a skilled warrior and could manipulate the Force, to a degree. However, that degree was no longer enough. He needed to find a way to not only increase his knowledge, but his power.. and exponentially. One day he hoped to take his place as ruler of the Sith, but he could never dream to do that without effort and knowledge.

Throughout his time in this galaxy he had shunned learning aside. A tool of the Jedi, or so he had thought. Now, however, he had seen what the aquisition of knowledge had given to his father and he wanted it. He wanted it badly.

One day he would be a God, but for now.. he was a servant.

The Chiss Parliment Capital Chamber
[/b]<hr>

Darkness...

He felt it's power growing.... looming in the distant starsystems of the Galaxy.... Calling to him...

A power he himself had not felt since the collapse of the Old Republic extended forth throughout the Galaxy.... A calling to Order. He remained silent, feeding off of the energy of the Darkside that had suddenly begun to spread throughout the Galaxy, consuming it in an unseen darkness....

The Darkside of the Force....

Xilen sat back, a satisfied expression on his blue-tinted as the Darkside spread through him, consuming his very soul, and casting it into oblivion. All was silent within him.... the Words of the Parliment never reaching his ears.

The Dark Lord of the Sith had truely returned, in all forms....
