The High Commander of the Crimson Imperial Forces stood tall and silent on the bridge of the Eclipse Class Star Destroyer 'Dark Prince'. He watched as the starlines of hyperspace shrank into pinpoints of light far into the distance. The Sovereign Fleet, in it's entirety, had dropped into the system holding the planet M'haeli and had done it so close to the planet that it was almost dangerous.

However, suprise was on their side this day.

Jax turned. "Raise all gravity wells throughout the fleet. Also, target their largest crafts with the abolishers. If they attempt to flee to hyperspace and are somehow able to make a jump, shred them."

"Yes, Lord Jax."

Jax stalked the bridge for a few moments, letting those below and in the space around contemplate what was about to take place. This would be interesting..

"Open a channel to them."

"Channel open, sir."

Jax grinned beneath his helm.

"Leaders of Seinar Corporation. This is Carnor Jax, high commander of the Crimson Imperial Armed Forces. You have exactly five minutes to surrender your assets to us and turn over yourselves for judgement, or I will not only destroy your fleet.. I will crack the surface of your planet and allow the magma of your planet's core to melt your civilization into nothingness. Do not test the limits of my patience, they do not extend far."

He left it at that and waited, starting a timer for exactly five minutes.

Dumbfounded, the admiral gazed on through his viewport.

How?

Why?



"Sir they're." choaked the comms officers, "They're giving us five minutes to surrender our entire forces.

They have fields of interdiction deployed throughout the fleet and thier flagship superlaser directed onto the main planetary faultline.

If they chose to fire sir . . ."


"Dammit I know." Snapped the commander. "Open a channel to the lead ship.



Unknown warship, this is commander Bakuul of the Sienar/M'haeli defence forces. I offer the surrender of the fleet, if you please, spare my people. We'll give you anything you want, no blood needs to be spilled unecessarily."


A second voice crackled over the comm, "As you wish."


The admiral informed for the connection to be cut.
Send out a fleetwide message, signal all the crews to stand down, and prepare for boarding.

"Sir, two ships are breaking away from the main line, they're heading for that eclipse!"

"What? I told them to stand down Goddammit!!"


A lancer frigate and a Carrack cruiser set off at maximum speed from the SC fleet, only to be viciously cut down in a blaze of green laser fire and a barrage of torpedoes.

Back on the bridge, the Admiral hung his head, and sobbed.

"Oh god. They came in so quickly . . .what more could I have down." He murmered, his lower lip quivering lick a child.

"I'll be in my ready room."



In his private room, the admiral sat back into his leather recliner chair, reached into a drawer from his desk, and pulled out his personal blaster pistol.

Placing the gleaming chrome barrel in his mouth, he hugged the trigger.

And it was over.

Jax opened the channel once more.

"Seinar commanders. Transmit all security codes for vessels in your fleet to my location. Once that is done, transport ALL personel to the planet. From there, I will contact the authorities which govern me and ask them where you will be placed and what is to be done with you. You have exactly one hour to comply. You know what will happen if you do not."

Jax cut the comm and began to stalk the bridge floor once more. This was easy, perhaps to easy.

He waited, patiently, for a response..

A prompt reply came through on the Crimson's comm system.

This is the Star Destroyer Lexington, our commander has been . . .unable to make this communique.

All security codes are being transmitted as we speak.

Personell should be completely evacuated within 5 minutes.

All empty shells of the sienar vessels were now brimming with the crimson blood of the Empire, and moving to join it's fleet.

With one swift stroke, the Empire had taken much, and lost nothing.

Jax turned to the fire control officer..

"You may fire when ready."

That said, only moments later a blast of green superlaser fire lanced out from the bow of the Dark Prince. Instantly it's penetrating power slammed into the surface of the planet and cracked through it's crust to the deep core. Every volcano on the planet simultatiosly errupted. The blast itself spew molten lava and rock everywhere. The debris kicked up would enter the planet's atmosphere and bring about an ice age, after everything on the planet was burned by the heat of the evacuating core.

and, it was done.. over, death was final...
