The newly promoted Jedi Knight Corran Horn stood looking around. He had followed the sith knight here and was awaiting for the right moment. THe sith was nearby. Withing 100m and that was enough. Corran reached out with his substantial mental force powers to Luperceus.

"Come to me." he thought sending a mental command to the Sith.

He waited as Luperceus came up the hill to where Corran stood...

(OOC:Ohh, i'll make sure he sees this!)

The gentle tug of peace rushed momentarily through his mind, but he quickly dispelled it. A frown crossed his face as he brain caught up with his Anger at such a disturbance.

"A problem my Lord?"

Lupercus opened his eyes to see one of the Hapan disciples looking at him, broken from their chant. The other 5 had stopped also.

"No... Just a distractio..."

His sentance cut off as he felt the tug from a familiar Force signiture. A large grin crossed his face as he recognised it fully.

"Mr Horn, you returned..."

The disciple looked closely at him and gave him a quizical look.

"Your Majesty? What is the problem?"

"An old friend has returned. One we fought on Delph, do you remember?"

The other Sith smiled, and nodded, his recollection obvious and pleasing.

"Yes your Highness! We worked perfectly together!"

Lupercus closed his eyes and nodded in agreement and an almost post-coital satisfaction.

"Yes, it was quite the sport, and he calls me once again. You men should come with me, but remain here."

They looked confused, before understanding his meaning. Lupercus rose from his seated position and laughed, before turning and leaping away towards the call. As he ran he could hear the men begin to chant behind him. After 5 minutes for sprinting through the scrubland he came upon a clearing in which stood the Jedi. Then he stepped out, remaining in shadow but in the clearing.

"Soooo, you've come to see me. Are flowers and chocolates in order, or is that too much for a second date?"

"Hardly. Put the lightsaber you took from me down beside you." said Corran once again reaching into Lupercus's mind and giving him a nudge in the direction.

"Know draw your other lightsaber. If you don't have another use this" he said as he threw one of the lightsabers he had made after becoming a knight at Luperceus.

"And know we fight. Winner takes my saber." said Corran drawing his second also double-bladed rubby saber. Feeling his connection to it but nothing like the connection to the lightsaber know deposited on the side of the fight arena. Reaching out in the force he began to go in his battle meld when he felt the prescence of those other weak fools. Barely up to the power of a jedi padawan corran knew hundreds of people stronger than him.

"Leave." he said "This is a personal matter." Turning around to face the Lupercus he appeared to ignore them but he was still sending a powerful compulsion through the force to leave the area.

Lupercus listened, his smile growing bigger and bigger as the Jedi progressed in his challenge. He caught the sabre, and removed his other two before attaching them to form a double bladed sabre. He held the two in a relaxed grip, waiting for the man to finish. When he did, Lupercus let out a laugh.

"Truly an excellent challenge, i must commend you. But I must tel you one thing. I don't have your sabre."

The Jedi looked crestfallen as he heard the news.

"It was given to a friend of mine, he felt the need for it. His name is Chikami. He wanted it in recompanse for a relative of yours taking his and leaving him in a Bacta tank for a week. So basically its up to Vonta Horn, who i assume is a relation of yours, to approach Chikami on your behalf to do a trade or somesuch.

For that i am quite honestly sorry! You may be surprised to hear it, but i think your challenge was an excellent idea.

Oh well..."

Lupercus smiled again, waiting to see the Rogues answer.

Hmm. Vonta took his saber? He seems to be going through those things rather fast. And as for my saber. Oh well. Ill get him later. But at the moment Ill just have to settle with you.

Corran stood back waiting for the sith to make the first move.

Lupercus smiled as the Rogue continued to demand a battle. He would have to oblige. Reaching out with the Force, fuelled by his Anger, he felt a large rock rise up on his command, and flung it towards the Jedi.

Meanwhile he assumed a fighting stance, and prepared to leap in.

(OOC:No worries)

ic:Corran stood waiting for Luperceus to make the first move. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a rock flying towards him. Stepping lazily aside he let the rock fly past him.

"You want to play mindgames? I've got no problem with that" he thought.

Reaching out in the force he touched the grass right around Luperceus. Suddenly the grass started to smoke. Then a ring of fire appeared blazing madly. With a gust of wind he fed the flames so that it soon became a roaring inferno. He nodded to Luperceus.

"Your Move."

Lupercus laughed as the fire sprang up around him. Raising his hands to the sky he called on the Ancient Dark Force that had long beenjust beyond his control, but since the rape of Sol was his for all eternity.

Nazerach blemnar, kryatt Krishnah.

Demenos!

His head arched back and the flames around him lept out, the flames burning beyond control. With a laugh the flames begun licking at the trees around him, catching alight. Jis head looked down again at Horn, his hands raising from the sky and back toward Horn, with a chilling smile they began moving again and Horn could feel, on a molecular level the particles rubbing against his skin, the air itself alive. Suddenly, small bursts of flame popped out of nowhere before burning out, Horns skin feeling the burn.

It was as if the air was causing itself to combust, yet at the behest of Lupercus.

"Mind games are my specialty, never forget that!"

Corran smiled.

"Well it appears we have one thing in common." said Corran "Too bad you don't have any honour like your brother. Then I might actually like you. Know shall we continue playing mindgames or shall we do something?"

Corran stood there as the flames burned around him absorbing the heat and turning it into energy. Energy that would soon aid him in his fight. Transferring a small portion of that energy into producing more fire the air around them suddenly combusted and the hilltop became a roaring inferno. And in the center of it all was Corran waiting as he kept on abosorbing more and more energy from the air surrounding him.
