Dagobah...
It had been quite some time since Misery had last been on Dagobah. Misery loved the planet just for its sheer sense of mystery that it provided.
The last time she had been here, she had come alone, but not this time.
No, this time she was accompanied by Dragon Draclau, a former Sith wishing to learn just what Shadow Jedi life was all about. It was so that Dragon, twin brother to Malice Draclau, could very well take the opportunity to learn the ways of the Shadow Jedi, after all, he'd experienced both the light and dark sides of the force during many times in his life. One could simply not have a fine understanding of the Shadow Jedi if they had no experience with both force paths, no knowledge of either.
Shadow Jedi, what were they really? Everyone had their own ideas about them. Often, others liked to think that they did not exist, that they did not belong among the galaxy along with the other force users that roamed and dwelled within the galaxy.
Misery? Well Misery believed otherwise. After all, what was a force user to do if they just did not feel like being a Sith nor a Jedi? Shoud they have to choose a side, being made to feel comfortable with a particular side, even if they did not wish to?
Countless times many had come to her, telling her that she was wrong, telling her that she did not belong. She ignored them all however, choosing to continue to be who she was, no matter what anyone else thought.
They did not understand, and Misery was not going to make them understand. She would just be, like it or not.
~********************~
Misery sat on a boulder, her eyes were closed, legs crossed. She'd been sitting like this for over a half hour now.
She stirred just once, and it was to open her eyes. She'd opened them just as Dragon had stopped to stand just two feet from where she sat.
"Where have you been? Your training was to start twenty minutes ago. Did you get lost during your curious search of the planet?"
Dragon seemed to look at her with a lost expression.
"This planet is much too mysterious, we've only been here but a day or two and I know you've not been given the opportunity to explore yet. I'm quite sure, knowing you, you could not pass up the chance to look around. However, I just did not expect for you to be late, please remember to be on time. You'll be doing and learning much in your time here on Dagobah, I'd like for you to make the most of that time."
Misery's face had been rather serious as she spoke during this time, but as she finished a faint smile could be seen on her face.
"I promised that I would not ask any questions of you until we got here, also promising that I would not pry so much as to make you uncomfortable. So I'll ask the easiest of questions first. Why do you wish to become a Shadow Jedi?"
