In his apartment he paced back and forth frantically as he seemed to have done so quite frequently these days. How would she respond? What would she say? Did he matter as much to her as he to him? Maybe it was too soon? They hadn't even....No Daren get your mind out of the gutter.
Daren had already called her via comm link, and she would be here any minute, every second she took however more and more doubts buried themselves deep inside of him.
His breath came quickly, his body bathed in sweat now. After what seemed like waning hours of agonizing wait the door finally opened.

How strange, he said that he wanted to see her, but yet could not give an explaination as to why.
What was it? To send her away for her own protection and safety? It can't be that again, for she wasn't even unpacked from the last time that happened.
Okay, her piloting skills were not up to par to that of say, her famous relatives, and yeah, everytime she was in a nasty situation she ended up near-dead.
Raven sighed, now seeing the logical reasoning behind his decisisions, but yet, it annoyed her just the same.
And the emperor himself had been ill, and things weren't looking up for him. Hopefully, the right person was chosen as to the chose of who dealt with running the empire for the time being was right. Didn't like the fellow, but, she wasn't the direct leader type anyways. Command abilities only came to her when in tight spots, each experience turning out badly.
So, there she was, a bit tired and worn down from the trip home (if one could call being on a ship away from her homeplanet home, yeah), running a hand through her dark hair, full of dust and grime of travel, strands here and there out of place, her own eyes with dark shadows under them, a sign of her sleepless nights. Who could sleep when the only answers to resolve her worries was a galaxy away?
She gave a breif knock, out of courtesy, and habbit now honed into her as a fellow pilot in the squadron, and entered, offering a tired smile to him as she found the nearest couch and plopped onto it.
"Don't even ask me to go anywhere else from you again. Can't I just stay here for awhile?" Raven asked, a slight whine creeping into her voice, her hands rubbing her tired eyes.
