A lone starship streaks through hyperspace heading to Coruscant from Dothamir. Aboard the craft is a sassy, vibrant young woman who is only known as Syren. Having corresponded with Prince Kamon via private holo's, she's been invited to meet with him to discuss a possible business partnership.

Kamon strode down one of the hallways. He wore his usual Jedi robes. His lightsaber hanging at his side. Striding deeply, he approached the door. He had already maske dhis Force presence.

He opened the door and walked in. His hood hid his face from her.

"Good afternoon, Syren. I trust your flight went well. I am assuming you already read the file I sent you about TDY Industrial and its many operations. But, that is only one reason I called for you."

He pulled down his hood so that Syren could see him for the first time. Then he moved closer to her and whispered in her ear.

"I need a queen, Syren. To me, your the only person capable of filling this position. I've known that ever since I saw you for the first time. I swear my heart stopped that first time."

He stepped back from her, and motioned her over to the wall. He showed her one of his pictures.

"This was my family. My brother and I are the only Vondiranachs left. When i was eight, my brother, who was twelve, murdered my parents right before my eyes. I cried for a month non-stop. Nobody could stop me. By law on Tholatin, the youngest heir takes over the thrown. I kicked Zerxes off the planet.I've never been the same since."

A tear trickled down his face.

[i]Syren had been slowly walking around the perimeter of the room before Kamon walked in, glancing at the paintings along the walls already; wondering just what stories there were to be told behind the images portrayed before her.

Kamon nodded as he wiped the tear from his face.

"Your very down to the point. I like that. Sure we can get started, but we must hurry. There is something I like to watch every evening that I want you to see as well."

He walked over and sat behind the desk. Pulling out some forms, he placed them in front of her.

"These are the forms for the shipment of Ionite and Neutronium. I need you to fill them out so I can ship them to your faction. Shipment starts next month."

Pulling out some more papers, he places them in front of her.

"These are brochures for the other business TDY does. The first is for ship manufacturing. We will build 2000 meters for the low price of 180 meters in return. We also do designing. The only thing we ask in return for that, is that you allow us to build five of the ships if it is a capital ship, and 20 of the ships if not."

She handed him back the forms for the mining, and he placed them in his desk. Glancing at the Chronometer, he stood up.

"You can look at those on the way. We must hurry before we miss it."

He lead her out the door.

Syren never takes a seat; instead she walks back and forth in the immediate area approximately six feet in front of the Prince's desk. Perusing over the forms, she lofts a brow then casts a long sideglance over to Kamon as he mentions seeing something at a specific hour each and every night. 'Great, a star gazer' she thinks to herself, shifting her eyes back to the papers.

He'd anticipated her acceptance of the terms laid forth in the business contract; he even had the billing addressed to her own personal business account. Thorough; very thorough. Just before she sets her thumb to the area where a signature print is required, a fleeting thought crosses her mind. 'How did he know her personal business account information?'

A shiver courses its way up her slender spine, causing her body to quiver but a brief moment and the tiny hairs on the back of her neck to rise. Pushing the feeling aside, she presses her thumb to the form, sealing one business deal; then she hands the forms back over to him.

Swiping the brochures off his desk as she passes before it, she scans over the covers of each before straightening the small bundle out and tucking them into the inner pocket situated in the lining of her cloak. A sharp tug at the cuffs of her black gloves is given before she laces her fingers together once again.

"I'll look these over at my convenience, your Highness."[i]

She informs Kamon of the second subtle business proposal.

A deep breath was drawn in as she watches him come around from behind his desk then head to the door. No reason to not remain cordial, she tells herself while following in his wake until they are outside of his chambers -- that is when she falls into step at his side.

He may be royalty; He may be wealthy, but if there was one thing Syren made well known was this: She wasn't ever anyone's shadow. She was an equal whether they liked it or not.

Kamon made no move to hinder her from walking next to him. He hated being treated as royalty all the time. It got on his nerves.

They walked down one flight of steps and outside to a speeder. They got inside and Kamon nodded at the driver. He had already told him where they were going.

They had for the barrier between day and night. At that point in time it was just getting ready to hit the beach. A few moments later, they arrived and Kamon all but dragged Syren up to the top of the largest sand dune in the area.

Taking a seat he looked out at the sun. It was just getting ready to set. A few seconds later, bright purple, blue, red, and some other colors were visible in the sky.

"I watch this everyday because it reminds me of Life and Death. The dawn signifies life with the coming of the sun. The sun set signifies death. All these things come and go in one lifetime. When I was little, I'd sit outside and watch both because they fascinated me. Now I know that was all because of the Force."

He looked up at her.

"Do you know what I mean?"

Tolerating this little escapade, Syren remains standing atop of that sand dune as she watches the sun set; other thoughts running rampant through her mind.

Looking to him as he asks her if she knows what he means, she gives him a look that would say to most 'Are you insane?'; then she quickly covers that by shrugging her shoulder gently.

"Why did you bring me here?" [i] She asks quietly, folding her arms beneath her chest.

Kamon smiled. He had seen her look. It was disheartening.

"To talk mostly. The room was bugged. I knew it before I entered. One reason why I whispered when i was talking to you personally."

He motioned for her to sit down even though he knew she probably would not.

"Tell me about yourself and your faction. I like to hear new and exciting things. And, just so you know, I am not insane."

He was right, she didn't sit down; she just stood there gazing off at ... well at other things. Sand for miles, such a bland view. Syren wasn't one for devulging personal information about herself or much of anything else. Suddenly, she has this Prince.. a PRINCE!! asking her to do just that.

"My name is Syren as you know and I represent the Sith Vixen's. What else is there to know?" Her voice was soft-spoken but that was just natural for her as was the hint of allure held in the tone.

"Are we finished here?" [i] Impatient? No, not really. Syren was perhaps one of the most patient in the universe when she had to be. However, standing atop of a sand dune in the middle of nowhere wasn't exactly her cup of tea. Her demeanor may be stand-offish, deeply guarded and apparently cold at times; ok, most times. Its just the way she is. Rarely does she ever show any emotion at all and those rare times are reserved for those she feels most comfortable letting her guard down with.

Kamon hasn't earned that level of trust ....

Yet.

Kamon nodded.

"I understand your not wanting to divulge personal information. I used to be the same way until a few years back. I trust people more, now."

"Are we finished here?" She asked.

"If you want to be. I will not impose anything on you. I can't after all. I would like to get to know you better, however."

Kamon sighed.

"A huge castle isn't very much fun when there is no one there to enjoy it with you. I'm lonely, Syren. I want to here the soft patter of feet running through halls."

He got up, and walked towards the speeder.
