(This post is to introduce my character Brac Jarel)
When Brac emerged from the tap cafe it was dusk on Correlia. In the last two hours he had made either the most foolish or the best decision of his life, which it was it was certainly going to change his life.
He had lived on the Correlia for all 25 years of his life. His father had been a smuggler, and Brac had followed on his foot steps. Working as his fathers partner for 3 years, and then going his own way and working for a man called Hanol K'Bath. He had been working for K'Bath for the last 5 years, and it was a good life, adventure, travel, girls, and money.
Two weeks ago Brac had recieved news that had made him question what he was doing with his life. His father had been killed, his ship destroyed by a patrol in the Hapan Cluster. Details of what had happened were not available, but it had struck Brac to the core.
As a result he decided to leave the service of Hanol K'Bath, the final part of this had just taken place in the Tap Cafe. There had been no problem as Hanol of an honourable man, and understood Brac's feelings.
The only thing Brac knew he was going to do was to take his E-Wing starfighter to Gallinore in the Hapes Consortium. This was where his father had died, his father deserved some kind of memorial, and he would give that to him.
He entered the docking area that his E-Wing resided in. All his belongings were packed into a small cargo hold on below the cockpit. And his R7 astromech droid, "Cable", was already in the back of the ship. The ship itself was several decades old, the exact ages Brac did not know. But he had refitting it with a working hyperdrive and weapons, had had also painted the fuselage black and purple.
With a small look back at the place he had called home for 25 years he climbed in to the starfighters cockpit and closed the canopy.
"Alright Cable get those jump co-ordinates sorted. We are off to see my father." Brac said to the little droid over the comm.
Several minutes later Cable indicated that they were ready to go to lightspeed. The hyperdrive engines kicked in, and they were on their way to Gallinore.
