Bucs won their game against the Eagles, 23-21. It was 20-14, but with 35 secs left in the 4th, Eagles scored touchdown and extra point. After a short drive back, Bucs scored a 62-yard FG with 4 secs left on the clock. Wow what a finale.

My high school football team beat an out of town team that ended their winning streak last year.

I can't wait to hear who won the world series. I'm rooting for the Tigers, since they are like, one half of a hometown team for me.

Why not just watch the games?

Steelers lost in overtime on field goal by the positively ancient Morten Anderson.

Which simply proves how incredibly stupid the NFL's overtime system is.

Basically, whoever wins the coin flip to decide possession wins the game- which is ridiculous. When a game is 38-38 at the end of the game.... and 1 posession (basically) gets to decide the whole thing.

The college system is much more fair*. Even ending the game in a tie at regulation would be more fair. Especially with the range that NFL kickers have.

*For non-football fans, in college, the ball is placed on the 30 and each team gets a posession- meaning that they get to play both offense and defense before the game can be decided. Which is sensible, and very exciting.

Not always.

It's just instant death, basically.

And I can't watch the world series from where I work.
