GoDaddy hosts TRF, I think. That's a good choice, actually. Good prices, etc.

So I was doing random scans of TRF and I found that it is hosted on a very interesting server. This server has a bunch of open ports and I can telnet into it, which is odd.

It's also running Linux 2.5.X, which is funny because that's an old version of Linux. Also, there's a program called "Melange Chat Server" running on TRF's server... does anyone know what that is? I know it is an old linux chat program but I don't know why it would be running on TRF's server.

Most interestingly, though, TRF has an ftp. Seriously! Go to ftp://therebelfaction.com/ and it will work. Hehe... I don't why this is. There's nothing there of course, but we should use it. :p

If you want a full copy of my scans I can PM them to you.

That is all :D

GoDaddy hosts our domain name. Site5 hosts the website. Old version of Linux isn't really a bad thing, why fix what's not broken?
