Speaking of that could you stop posting on that female account? I swear am I the only one creeped out by all of that?
Watch TV with Ahnk
You have something in common with Kas!
Gash: You'll note that I did not say "shitty ass whiny British balladeer band", which would be a reference to Oasis. The mistake lies in you assuming the "comparatively lively British music of the 90's" refers to a band that made it big in the U.S., which is not what I meant. One could be led to wonder, however, if in Coldplay, the ridiculously fickle American pop audience was subconsciously looking for, of all things, a surrogate Oasis? I honestly wouldn't put it past them, since they were stupid enough to fall for Oasis the first time.
And I'd say it was in fact with "A Rush of Blood to the Head," that things got truly nasty. It featured a slightly peppier single (In My Place) in which Martin goes into full-blown poet mode to make such bold pronouncements as "Yeah" and "Oh Yeah." And I'm sorry but it really can't get much worse than "The Scientist". The instrumentation of the song is not just weak, it’s frustratingly awful.
And I'm sure there are worse albums that get more credit in the Indie world. Considering I own albums by no more than 3 Indie bands, that wouldn't really be my deal. I like how Theren and Ahnk jump back and forth with the accusations of what kind of music I dig, from the punk to emo to indie. I listen to my fair share of pretty terrible bands in the eyes of Indie elitists, but I listen to them because I find them entertaining, be it the electronic pop of Postal Service, the funky-ass guitar solos of Rage, or fast-paced punk like NOFX. All the bands I listen to, however, have in common the ability to play their instruments very well, which is something I value in music, and I fail to see to any great extent in Coldplay. And none of the bands I listen to try too hard to be something they are not, which is something I do see in Coldplay.

The whole female thing creeps me out as well.
As I stated in another thread:
Yeah, but my complexion is fair and unblemished. :P
Thouhg if you'd care to note, my character is a female... so it stands to reason, eh?
Irregardless.

Yeah. Jesus. You sick cross-dressing fuck. :glance
Eh, I ended up sleeping through it.
Sheesh, just because the word filter isn't on doesn't mean you have to see how far you can go..
At least choose a better avatar, Isstal. If you're playing an iron-plated bitch of the Imperial Empire, choosing Arwen from LOTR does not convince me in the slightest.
