It made a buttload of money the first weekend. I'd have seen it already, but I promised to wait until my girlfriend could go. I'm hoping they make all of the books into movies, myself.

I turned down prescreening tickets a week ago because my mom couldn't go if I did and I'm gonna go see it wiht my girlfreind in a few weeks.

I want to go see it...unfortunately by the time I get back to the states it will likely no longer be playing in theaters. One negative to living in a relatively small city....

Heh, one benefit of living on the Canadian-American border is that there's this "Colossus" in Langely (not too far away) that is shaped like a giant space ship. There is leg space, good snacks, no sticky floors, huge screen, a white spot across the street, and to top it off, the movies are almost never sold out!
I saw all the new Star Wars movies on the opening days there!
Made me laugh at the people who wait for months...
