So... Ninja Turtles, what can I say? I'm a child of the 80's! I grew up watching them in cartoons and then the increasingly bad movies. I've given each new cartoon at least a glance whenever I spot them, which isn't often becuase I don't watch TV. I've liked the new series, it took the whimsical nature of the show and tried to make it serious given its goofy nature. That said, when I found out there was a crossover cartoon movie made in november I just had to check it out. I was not disappointed and the child in me giggled all the way.

they advertised a "new" TMNT movie awhile back on Cartoon Network, we watched it just before moving, but it was an old digital movie we'd seen years ago.. don't know why they were calling it new.. it wasn't half bad but they threw in alot of angst amongst the turtles...

do you know that in the comics they had one of the turtles turn female? amphibians can do that in times there are no mates around... or at least I think I read an article about the comics where they did that.. but they haven't treated the comics and the cartoons alike in a long time...

From what I recall, I believe a female turtle joined them for a while. I don't believe one of the guys turned into a female, no. It may have been to replace Raphael, who went on a bender and wanted to go out on his own for a while...

I could also be thinking about the TV series.

Not sure.

And LOL:

Male voice on TV: "I'm not your half-brother... I'm your half-sister!"

Splinter: "OH!" /surprise at soapie drama on tv
