Come on. It was supposed to show what life was like back then in a village and there wasn't ONE good incest scene! Whats up with that?
The Village
I just saw it yeasterday (only came out here on Thursday :() and I thought it was pretty awesome. A lot of people I talked to didn't seem to like it much... but then it was advertised as a horror flick when in reality it's more of a character/society study. I suppose false expectations can ruin it for some people.
I saw it as well. Kind of dissapointed, but it was a good movie with an unexpected twist at the end that leaves you feeling pretty angry.
There were a couple of scenes I was scared, and a couple of scenes where I felt pity (mainly for Noah).

Poor guy...
I enjoyed it. It made me jump a good couple of times, and really got me feeling sympathetic for the characters (especially the blind girl). The twists were a bit predictable, but they kept you on your toes, at least. My only problem with it was that it seemed to just end all of a sudden. There wasn't much resolution. I suppose you were meant to draw your own conclusions.
Anyone spot the Director's cameo in the Security Guard station?
...the one reading the paper?
(his reflection was in the glass of the drugs cabinet).
