At night they come without being fetched.

Lighting darkness, with fate unblest, I soon devolve to shapeless mess.

I welcome the day with a show of light,
I steathily came here in the night.
I bathe the earthy stuff at dawn,
But by the noon, alas! I'm gone.

I am life, i am death, an omnipresent evil.
Without me, there would no time, no hope of retrieval.
Every motion you take increases my power,
But when, if ever, will be my glorious hour?

What am i?


I am everything, i know nothing of ends.
I am boundless, free, yet this message i send:
You cannot comprehend me, i am too much by far.
Your wits, however above average, are still under par.

What am i?


I am all, from alpha to omega.
Gamma, double unkown, i am by no means meta
Put my three into one, its gamma you still get.
I am one of many, of an all-encompassing net.

Billions fear me, though i am in fact quite harmless.
In fact, when within me, its better to go armless.
I am an innocent absence, a neutral nought.
Yet you see evil, wherer it be truth, or mere thought.

Without me you would be stone-aged, yet to be near me causes pain.
I devour earth, yet am destroyed by mere rain.
Without me, you wouldent be here, within me, you would be dead.
I am thinner then water, yet denser then lead.

From the Brave to the foolish, the cowadly to the weak.
I am the one thing that no one will ever seek.
I drive nations, rule empires with unfalterable control.
But knowledge removes me, and that should be your goal.

I live in everywhere four times in my long, long life.
At the end of life, I will stay without strife.
At the end of strife, I will live on with trouble.
Its as if i never leave, I have an inpermiable bubble!

I am the sun and the sky
The grass, am I.
The second and the fifth
The seventh.

What am I?


I am invinsible, I cannot be destroyed.
Yet i cannot be created, I can only be toyed.
Constantly changing, and always the same,
my origin eludes you, plays its own little game.

I am invisible, perhaps found in only one place.
Yet until recently, i was everywhere, at least for your race.
I keep you alive, but long long before,
I was a nuicance, then you came to me, and you became more.

Despair is my begining, i continue in Agony.
but i am not finished, next comes Need, then the cavalry.
Cold envolps my victoms, and then the simple End,
but really, I'm not that bad, if your limbs can take a little bend.

I am the definition of life, but all i do is confuse.
There would be no relevence without me, but often i merely amuse.
I know all that anyone knows, i see all that all see.
I cause pain, love, and hope, but mostly i make all be.

I am that, that over which your control is absolute.
Though you do not understand me, In your mind I root.
All experiance me diferently, yet all one and the same.
A powerful thing I would indeed be, If me you could only tame.
