Let's face it, Kas; the founder of your religion did not mention homosexuality so much as once. One would've thought that, seeing as how modern Christians seem to espouse this sin as tantamount to murder, Christ would've, y'know, mentioned it even once, to someone, in passing.

(And don't bring up this "sin is a sin" stuff again. Any rational person can tell you that someone who steals a loaf of bread isn't on the same level of the Evil Ladder as a serial rapist.)

Whatever the members of the early church may have written to convert more followers and keep the general Christian populace in line and abiding by the rules they'd made up isn't really relevant to the fact that Christ never once so much as made a remark about homosexuality. Paul never even met Christ.

That's how man sees it. God, however, sees things differently.

Stealing a loaf of bread makes you just as incapable of coming into heaven as bombing a football stadium.

That's pretty @#%$ up, Kas. Even simple logic refutes that.

God probably needs to get his priorities straight.

The only thing that will get you kicked out of heaven, is to reject the Holy Spirit. Thanks to Jesus's sacrafice, all that other stuff is now forgiven.

If god is like that, then I can honestly say I'd prefer the eternity in hell. Anyways, I'm not religious so I was wondering: Why would the devil torture dead evil people? Surely he'd want to train them into some horrible army of the damned for whatever world-ending war he's got planned?

Well no. The Devil tortures anybody, no matter how evil they are. According to the Scriptures, when Judgement Day arrives, he, and his four horsemen will be released upon the Earth, and while I'm not sure of the exact details, four large armies will march from the four corners of the Earth, and so much blood will be shed, that the rivers and oceans will flow red with blood. Last time God devastated Earth, he did it with Water. This time, he will do it with fire. Which I myself interpet as one of two things:
Nuclear War
or
Massive Worldwide drought, possibly caused by Meteorite Hit, then a massive fire consumes all the dead and dry forests, etc.

Anyone ever read "Calculating God" ?

Its a Sci-Fi book where aliens arrive in Canada to investigate a museum and study our history. Long story short, the aliens believe in god not as a matter of faith, but as a matter of scientific fact. They have alot of proof to thier benifit, of course none of which mean anything in a real life situation lest real aliens come to town saying the same exact thing, requires corelation and all.

Anyways, the point the aliens made was that it was the flawed human conceptions that gods still around and that hes infoulable and all seeing. Their Idea was that God made the universe in a grand plan that was now runing through its cycles like a game of computer Life...

Though Im still set in my agnostic ways...

There's a popular misconception that Satan and his minions reside in hell, torturing evil doers. I don't know where it came from, but it's incorrect. Hell is empty right now. After Judgment, those who did not accept Christ will be thrown into hell along with the Devil - Satan isn't fire proof, he will be tortured alongside everyone else.
