The world is filled with true and depressing thoughts. You just have to be either non-American or cynical to realize them.
The Liberals Made Up AIDS To @#%$ With Our Agenda
And turn off the @#%$ TV, too.
No, Kas is of the opinion that all non-Christians are Satan-worshipping, evil little children that refuse to accept the wonderful truth of Jesus. Africans don't have computers, Kas, and they don't watch CNN. They don't know, and that's the long and short of it.
Ignorance spreads AIDS. Ignorance in Africa, where, through no fault of their own, many African people do not know how to prevent the spread of the disease. But even worse, purposeful ignorance in America, where people shut their eyes and count to ten and hope it'll just go away. Because they don't care. Switch to FOX News, please. Maybe they'll play the Jessica Lynch movie again.
I'll take patriotism with a side order of not giving a @#%$.
Somehow, this becomes about not having pre-marital sex -- all with a defeatist, "Oh well that's very unfortunate" attitude. How convenient. Not that I'm picking out Kas as the sole offender. It's a very common reaction when members of the religious right are presented with the reality of what's happening in Africa.
If Americans stopped inhaling poison through cigarettes, we'd probably cut out a great, great deal of cancer and heart disease. Strangely enough, though, I don't see Christians or Republicans protesting against cigarette use. But then I guess we all know who has been filling Republican warchests.
Jesus, like everyone else, apparently knows what side his bread is buttered on.
No, turn on the @#%$ TV. Turn off the @#%$ FOX News, turn off the @#%$ Jessica Lynch movie, turn off the @#%$ Lou Dobbs, and turn off the @#%$ Rush Limbaugh.

Gash....thats all thats on American television and radio.
In that case watching you shouldn't watch american television. There are other countries in the world who do have the technical skills to have television stations etc.
Also, Catholic missionaries are actually telling Africans that condoms won't stop the spread of AIDs. They are on record telling a married man with AIDs that he doesn't need to use a condom with his wife.
But none I have access to, Marth.
Source, Sam?
As fascinating as the Vatican is to visit, I didn't think I had any faith left in it to lose.
